#3 If the Mullahs can be overthrown by the Iranian people it will show the fence-sitters in the Islamic world that Theocracy is undesirable. This has earth-shattering implications for the neo-con strategy of Iraq and the greater middle east. If the US gets invovled the lesson is somewhat lost. |

#1 I'm reminded, from an Iranian blog, that mullahs can't get a taxi to stop for them. They get flipped off. Iran is a funky situation. If islam can be stunted there, what would that mean for the world? |
