| Sorry about this - just ... I was within feet of Howard Dean. Admittedly I was walking past his rally at City Hall, New York to pick up a game for my little sister and had to head back to work, but yeah, the stereotypical protesters were outside there with their posters, Dean 2004 stickers were ALL over the City Hall area, he was working the crowd with his "white shirt/rolled-up sleeves/non-stop handshaking" routine ... and he’s amazingly short in real life. (In comparison to what you’d think he was -- I can’t see this man taller than 6’ at most, and I think he was 5’10" myself; I’m 5’4".) Now if only the cops hadn’t made me move along ... *evil look* |
