Uday and Qusay still on ice |
2003-07-31 |
Edited for brevity. The U.S.-led authority in Iraq said Thursday it was working on burial arrangements for Saddam Hussein’s two sons more than a week after they were killed by U.S. troops in the northern city of Mosul. "Uday and Qusay are still being looked after by the coalition authority," a spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority told reporters. "We are holding very wide consultations with religious leaders, tribal leaders and members of the Governing Council who have given us advice on how to proceed and we have contacted the relevant authorities and are finalizing plans for their burial." Feed them to pigs. They could finally contribute something positive to the world. Muslim traditions stipulate that the dead must be buried as soon as possible, but the U.S. authorities have said they would hold onto the bodies of Saddam’s sons until their relatives came to claim them. |

#4 What to do with the bodies? When I say it, you'll kick yourselves for not thinking of it already: Bobble-heads. |

#3 I liked the idea that FrankJ came up with inone of his "In My World" posts. (See the archive at imao.us if you want to die laughing.) His "President Bush" tried to sell NBC a "Punch and Judy" style puppet show. (NBC okayed it for 13 episodes if he could get daddy, too.) |

#2 Actually, there are a few more things they could do with the bodies. |
