He said this stance threatened a three-month truce declared by militant groups a month ago, and added: "We think we should make a reassessment of the truce because the dangers are very close to harming our hopes and goals."

So no credit for it The dispute over the West Bank barrier is a big obstacle to progress, although Sharon vowed Tuesday to do his utmost to ensure it had minimum impact on Palestinian daily life. Israel says a fence it built around Gaza halted attacks from the territory, and that one in the West Bank will have a similar effect. Palestinians say it amounts to a land grab because it cuts deep into territory they want for a Palestinian state. The Paleo terrorists have figured out that if there is a separation, and they can’t get the U.S. or EU to beat Israel into removing the fence, that it becomes a de facto border, the Israel-Paleo problem will effectively be solved since they won’t be able to wander into a crowd of civilians and kill them, and everyone except them will end up happy | |

| #15 While this would be an ugly deal, maybe it's the necessary turn to get the average Palestian to use his head for something other then a hat rack and realize that his "leaders" all mostly deserve to be pushed up against the wall. |

| #12 I love the quote where the Palestinians are complaining that the wall 'infringes on land they want for a Palestinian state'. Of course it infringes in their minds (such as they have)! In their minds, the 'Palestinian state has beachfront property in Tel Aviv. I still feel that the Israelis should be allowed to function just as the US is functioning now in response to terrorism. My two cents. |

Gotta correct you a bit, Mojo. they're not fighting for the right to kill Jews. Their holy book grants them that right. They're fighting for the bragging rights as to who can kill more Jews, and who gets to sleep with saint Pancake in paradise. But you are right in calling it a gang war - basically just a bunch of sub-animals arguing over who has the bigger dick. |

And Sharon can finish with: "I do not think of it as a wall at all, it is more of a cage to keep the animals from killing the people." |
