| Kerry suffers White House aide taunt: "He looks French" | ||

| (EFL - via drudge) Responding to a taunt by the White House that he ``looks French,'' U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday brushed off the political insult — saying it's part of an expected barrage of Republican attacks on his character. Actually the White House itself didn't taunt him, an anonymous aide did. The stupidest thing is that he (and his nutty wife) even responded ``It means the White House has started the politics of personal destruction,'' Kerry said of the comment by an unnamed Bush adviser. That's personal destruction?? *laughing* with skin that thin it's amazing he can stand without bleeding A New York Times report quoted Republican officials and Bush advisers yesterday saying that Kerry's presidential campaign wouldn't play well out of New England because of his ``haughty air'' and Boston upbringing. ``He looks French,'' said one Bush adviser, handing the Massachusetts Democrat what is probably the ultimate postwar political putdown. Kerry, after an Earth Day campaign stop in Roxbury, said he didn't believe the comment was an attack on his patriotism, adding: ``It's funny. I laughed about it.'' Then his nutty wife Theresa evaded her minders and got off some good responses. Bet his sphincter puckered on these published remarks - Minutes after Kerry sped off to a campaign speech in New Hampshire, his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, compared the Bush comment to an insult by ``kids in the playground.''
Republican National Committee spokesman Dan Ronayne yesterday would not respond to the remarks by Kerry and his wife. Just a taste for how high a level the next campaigns' gonna be...God help us | ||

Funny how a Demoncrat can say/do anything against the President but if it comes back it’s Whaa whaa whaa! I can’t wait until next year, Bush is going to smoke em! BTW HE DOES COME OFF AS FRENCH! |

| #4 Example of irony: Kerry says he may dip into his wife's "fortune" to fend off the "special interests" that will fund Bush in 2004. Where did she get it all? From a Republican capitalist robber barron blue-blood. What will Dems say about that? Another: she's originally a Portugese citizen who was born and raised in colonial Mozambique or Angola before their independence in 1976. In other words, she owes all of her wealth and position to the advantages she had while growing up on a plantation overseeing the colonized (Portugese were supposed to be bastard colonialists) and to the two senators she married. I'm waiting for Kerry to use her as an example of why we need affirmative action/diversity quotas since he can point to her as exhibit #1 as someone who hasn't worked for anything she's gotten. Remember how Bush was pilloried for his dad's Yale connections? Also she supposedly speaks French, just like JFK does, so her comments are pretty snooty and arrogant. White House, hire me and I'll test his/her French. |
