Philippine names new ambassador to Baghdad |

Philippines' President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo announced the appointment of a new ambassador to Iraq, even as US-led coalition forces had yet to establish full control over the war-torn country and set up an interim government. In a speech to the graduating class of the Philippine National Police Academy, the President said she was appointing businessman Jose C. Ibazeta as ambassador to Baghdad. What happened? We bomb the old one? |
