| Pakland piously condemns slaughter of Pandits |

| The government of Pakistan has strongly condemned the massacre of twenty-four Kashmiri Pandits in Nandimarg village in Shopian in the Indian administered Kashmir. In a statement issued in Islamabad the Foreign Office spokesman said that "this blatant act of terrorism, reportedly carried out by persons wearing Indian army uniforms, is reprehensible". The government of Pakistan also offers condolences to the bereaved families. "I weep for you, the Walrus said. I deeply sympathize..." |
