| Iraq tests aerial chemical gas attacks: German daily |

| Berlin, Feb 25, IRNA -- The Iraqi Air Force has reportedly tested chemical gas attacks using unmanned remote-controlled fighter planes to spray "simulated material," the daily Bild said Tuesday. The paper points to the latest findings of Germany's foreign intelligence service BND, saying Iraq has rebuilt some of its Czech-made L-29 combat jets for chemical gas assaults. It added that the redesigned fuel tanks of the new remote-controlled planes were equipped with chemical and biological bombs. The report did not specify the number of the rebuilt combat planes or when and where these tests had taken place. We saw the video of Iraq testing spray tanks on a Mirage fighter. This is not news, what's interesting is that it is credited with coming from the German BND. Think somebody there has their own agenda? |
