| Imam Samudra, is also wanted by the Barelang police in Batam, Riau province, in connection with the bombing of several churches here in 2000. Barelang Police told Antara that Imam Samudra was allegedly involved in the bombing of several churches Christmas Eve in 2000, in which about 13 people were injured. Barelang Police said that they had released sketches of the alleged perpetrators at the time, but had failed to capture them. They also disclosed information that Imam Samudra often passed through Batam in traveling to Johor Baharu, Malaysia. They couldn't catch him then, either. He was too fast for them... Whoops! There he went again! |
