| #1 Actually, the MQM could do quite well out of their Sindh powerbase. And they are about as secular as one is allowed to be in the "Islamic Republic." Unless they are lying, they appear to hate the ISI spy guys. An MMA victory would be a disaster for Pakistan. Islamic rules of evidence enable Pakistan corruption. An salafist ("purist") government would create an Islamic booty tyranny. There is little foreign interest in subsidising that type of criminal regime. |
