| Pamphlets Issue Grave Warnings to Afghans |

| Source: Jihad Unspun Large number of pamphlets were distributed in Eastern Afghan provinces that warned shop owners to immediately stop selling music and video films or else be ready to face severe consequences. According to Afghan Islamic Press, in Jalalabad last night, some unknown men distributed pamphlets as well as warned shop owners to stop selling music and videos. Karzai was also criticized in these brochure and Muslims were urged to prepare for Jihad against the Americans present in Afghanistan, like they did against Russia. Sounds like Hekmatyar's Secret Army of Doom, trying to establish its presence in the area. With all the locals toting shootin' arns in the area, why do they put up with toughs barging in demanding they do things their way? Don't they get tired of it? Or is it only the unarmed locals who're getting intimidated? |
