| Tehran ready to defend itself against US threats |

| Iran's national security chief warned the US Wednesday that Tehran would defend its territory, as the nation readied for nation-wide anti-US demonstrations Friday following President George W. Bush's recent "interventionist" statements. "If a danger is threatening the country, we must join hands and face it," Hassan Rohani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), told reporters in Tehran. "Bring 'em on! We'll murdalize 'em! Bring 'em ooooon!" |
