Saudi Arabia’s Prince Nawaf, the country’s intelligence chief, has been discharged from the American University Medical center, where he had undergone a brain operation, AUMC’s administration said. Nawaf, who is in his 70s, was the deputy leader of the Saudi delegation to the Arab summit held here last month, when he suffered a brain hemorrhage and was rushed to AUMC. The hospital said Nawaf is expected to spend a few days recuperating in Beirut. Nawaf, a brother of King Fahd, was appointed intelligence chief last September. ÂÂ
