The Sindh government has notified jail trial of four workers of the banned Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan and Tehrik-i-Jafferia Pakistan, allegedly involved in cases of sectarian killings in different parts of the city. One of the SSP workers, Dilawar alias Dildar, is facing trial in six murder cases, which include one pertaining to the killing of a former deputy superintendent of police and his young son. Another SSP worker, Abdur Rashid alias Andha, is co-accused with Dilawar in two murder cases.
