A school bus carrying Jewish students in Paris was bombarded with stones Wednesday, drawing immediate condemnation from the Paris mayor and renewed pleas for religious tolerance. Mayor Bertrand Delanoe issued a statement saying he was "profoundly shocked by the intolerable aggression against a bus carrying students from a Jewish school" in the north of Paris.
