| Hizbollah Secretary General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah has denied Israeli allegations that Hizbollah carried out the attack which killed six Israelis in the western Galilee kibbutz of Shlomi on Tuesday. Security sources in Israel said they were "almost certain" that Hizbollah or gunmen trained by the group were behind the attack. They claimed the attackers came from Lebanon. Sources claimed Hizbollah may have infiltrated Israel’s marine border. Lebanese officials had rejected Israeli charges, and said UN peacekeepers on the ground could testify that no breaches of the border occurred. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade group has claimed responsibility for the attack. |
