[Jpost] The US Justice Department on Tuesday accused Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, author of a tell-all book about first lady Melania Trump, of breaking their nondisclosure agreement and asked a court to set aside profits from the book in a government trust.
In a complaint filed in US District Court in Washington, Justice Department lawyers said Wolkoff, a former aide who fell out with the first lady, failed to submit to government review a draft of her book, Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, which offers an unflattering portrayal of President Donald Trump's wife.
"The United States seeks to hold Ms. Wolkoff to her contractual and fiduciary obligations and to ensure that she is not unjustly enriched by her breach of the duties she freely assumed when she served as an adviser to the first lady," said a copy of the complaint seen by Reuters.
The book was published six weeks ago.
The complaint says Wolkoff and Mrs. Trump in August 2017 sealed a "Gratuitous Services Agreement" related to “nonpublic, privileged and/or confidential information” that she might obtain during her service under the agreement.
"This was a contract with the United States and therefore enforceable by the United States," said Justice Department spokeswoman Kerri Kupec.
About a week ago, O'Reilly was interviewed on News Max and he also said Biden is likely to take the election.
I don't believe it. IMO, we are in for a repeat of 2016 but even with a larger margin. There is no enthusiasm for Biden. A handful of people show up at Biden rallies if anyone shows at all. Compare that with Trump rallies. They are huge even in this COVID-19 environment.
So Drudge is so f'ed up now that he totally "forgot" what happened four years ago.
But going up against the MSM, Farcebook, Twitter, YouTube, Hollywood, etc., it ain't easy (but evidently they didn't learn their lesson from four years ago, either, isn't that right, "Madame President"?
Repeated from the other thread: JFM, for the opinion piece you submitted, Statistics and the US elections, did you forget the link or is it your personal opinion? Both are welcome, as it is well-argued, but if you got it somewhere else we need a link.
T.W. I wondered what happened to the Drudge site. At some point the change in the site became very noticeable. It tended to be left of center but then it went pretty far left of center. In addition it had an anti-Trump aspect to it.
It is a personal opinion. Now I graduated in statitics and while I forgot most of the maths I still have the thinking habits. Like using indicators. Or considering structure effects (the part about Republicans in houses and Democrats in appartments that is why I compared Biden and Clinton).
I would need more indicators and a larger sample of people to be totally sure but I am sceptical about a Biden's victory without ballot stuffing
Drudge (and Bill O'Reilly) remind me of an old boss I had in their Rise and Downfall:
A hard-working Micro-manager that gets older and starts delegating things to their staff -- Revealing that they are terrible Managers.
[ConservativeTreehouse] CBS News Catherine Herridge has obtained a 94-page spread sheet (pdf here) showing dates of media reports, dates of Steele reports on the same material, and the FBI effort to verify or validate the circular process. In essence this is evidence of the process we initially shared almost three years ago; only now we know the names.
Former SSCI staffer Dan Jones, former Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson, and Simpson's crew at Fusion-GPS, pitched and planted phony Trump-Russia evidence with the media and simultaneously gave those fake points to Chris Steele to supplement the dossier. Using the same method of Ezra Klein's "JournOList" replication, Dan Jones and Fusion-GPS paid the journalists to run the stories.
…"media reports on FBI reports of media reports"…
Steele then used the same information from Jones and Fusion in his Dossier and cited the planted media reports; as evidence to substantiate. The Dossier is then provided to the FBI. The journalists then provide *indulgences* to the FBI as part of the collaboration.
The FBI, specifically Lisa Page, Peter Strzok and public information office Mike Kortan, then leak the outcomes of the FBI Dossier investigative processes to the same media that have reported on the originating material. It is all a big circle of planting and laundering the same originating false material; aka a "wrap up smear."
The survival of the US media (in this country at least) is dependent upon sponsorship and funding. Who do you suppose has a virtually unlimited, secret budget that would stand to gain by controlling or subverting a hungry media ?
Now here's a guy whose appeal has become really selective!
[The Lid] - Lonely Joe: — Not A Single Person Showed Up to Biden/Harris Event In Arizona
It seems that most states have seen massive rallies with numbers in the thousands of people showing support for President Trump — even in deep blue states like California. The same can’t really be said in favor of Joe Biden, now known as lonely Joe.
On Sunday, the Biden/Harris campaign learned just how popular they really are in Arizona.
The local Fox News anchor covering the "event" said:
"I’m told by one of the Biden staffers, local staffers, that they kind of kept the details about the visit, as far as the timing and the exact location, they didn’t really want to give that out to the public, because they want to keep the crowds to a minimum. They realize we are in a pandemic and they don’t want a crowd of more than fifty people at any of their events.
Keeping crowds to a minimum - mission accomplished, fuckin' losers!
I like that ,Clem! I'm gonna steal borrow that!
Back to the main point, nobody felt they needed to show up because Biden/Harris are leading by double digits! The pollsters and press keep telling us so.
Joe's supporters are so enthusiastic they are incapacitated...

Biden's supporters are scared shitless of the pandemic and won't go to work, school, ballgames, or rallys. You probably know some. There are a lot of them. They are the same people who didn't show for Clinton rallys in 2016. I recall Trump barely beat her. Some call them yellow-dog democrats.
Will mail in voting, immigration and cheating we don't know about, this race is very close. IMO.
Show us the polls' sampling methodologies. What percentages of D and R, college- and non, white black etc did you use in your sample? How do these samples compare to actual voting population percentages?
Also: Tell us how many of the Republicans who were contacted chose not to respond, and how that % compares to the % of Democratic refusers. Are these equivalent? Are they even anywhere in the same region, or is it the cause that 3x, 4x or even 8x as many Republicans refuse to give information to political surveyors than do Democrats?
Do all of the above and maybe then we can talk about your ludicrously slanted polls.
Breibart had a story yesterday about the Staten Island GOP tacking a $5 fee (non-refundable) onto their rally seats so that if the Bidennettes tried the swwamp the event with no shows, they had to pay for it. They got nearly $16,000.
The city of Portland has removed the statues of Roosevelt & Lincoln that were toppled overnight by #antifa. This follows the toppling of the Jefferson & Washington statues months earlier. The downtown elk & pioneer statues were set on fire by antifa & removed by city as well.
[AA.TR] The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has ruled out in an interview broadcast Monday any role for the US military in a possible disputed election."We have established a very long 240-year tradition of an apolitical military that does not get involved in domestic politics," Mark Milley said during an interview with National Public Radio.
Well said, sir. Thank you.
"This isn't the first time that someone has suggested that there might be a contested election," he said. "And if there is, it'll be handled appropriately by the courts and by the US Congress. There's no role for the US military in determining the outcome of a US election. Zero. There is no role there."
The comments come as US President Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... continues to refrain from committing to a peaceful transfer of power should he lose the US's Nov. 3 election over so far unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud linked to mail-in voting.
"We’re going to have to see what happens," the president said upon news hounds' questions during a White House briefing in late September.
Trump is facing daunting prospects for re-election with just over three weeks to go until Election Day. An average of polling compiled by the Real Clear Politics website has him trailing Democratic nominee Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... by 10.6 points nationwide in addition to lagging behind the former vice president in every major battleground state.
Trump was to face Biden on Thursday during a town hall debate, but the event has since been cancelled after the president rejected a virtual format that organizers mandated after he contracted COVID-19.
Monoclonal antibodies means all the same - provided by a single cell line maintained in a lab/factory. What Trump is donating are a mixture. Nice of him.
IMO, he's a good guy. Quite possible that, in the covid matter, he couldn't actually do anything - states rights, etc. Still, IMO, he shouldn't have pandered to the modern "know-nothings" - even if they're an important part of his constituency.
A giant Joe Biden-Kamala Harris 2020 display made from hay bales in Dalton, Massachusetts, was set on fire
The display was built at Holiday Brook Farm with 19 bales of hay that were wrapped and covered in paint
Lonnie Durfee, 49, was arrested and charged with burning personal property
Dicken Crane, owner of the farm, said the display was built after residents complaied that Biden signs were being stolen
‘We were seeing a lot of big Trump banners and only a few little small Biden signs that people kept complaining were being stolen, so we got the idea no one’s going to steal 1,200-pound round bales,' Crane said
'The guy who did this was bragging in a bar that he was going to do it in front of a whole bunch of people and then when he went to the gas station to get the gas, he was bragging there that he was going to do it,' said Crane.
Probably just an extra-stupid deplorable, but could be a lefty plant. Anybody look at his social media stuff?
