We are well inside the DOJ 60 rule for embargoed news that might affect a political outcome in an election year. Barr would be right In upholding that as a nonpartisan precedent for the integrity of an honest DOJ. What isn’t right has been the stalling and obfuscation to get to that marker so as to bury the massive, obvious criminal behavior of the tentacles of the previous administration and the democrat progressive march. Given the existential nature of that, perhaps he should consider an exception to such a well intentioned idea!
No Clinton is running in this election, so I don’t see that the 60 day rule should be invoked in her case, NoMoreBS. Also, the Russia probe involved people and events aimed at the 2016 election and its aftermath, not President Trump, so that also ought not invoke the rule.
My though was since all of that involves democrats and their misbehavior it would be seen as partisan. Hope you are right TW but suspect partisans inside DOJ see it as a mechanism to hide their crimes past Nov 3 and beyond.
[FoxNews] President Trump on Sunday may have shown a preview of this week’s upcoming presidential debate when he asked reporters at the White House why -- in his opinion -- they have been reluctant to look into Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s business involvement in Russia, Ukraine, and China while his father was vice president.
“If we had a media that was fair -- even just reasonable -- this would be the biggest story for years and years,” Trump said. “Then you’d be entitled to real Pulitzer Prizes, not the fake committee that gives away these fake awards.”
Trump's comment was made after the New York Times released a report that he avoided paying taxes for 10 of the past 15 years. Trump called the Times' report another example of fake news.
One of the benefits of investing in real estate is that for tax purposes the depreciation on paper offsets real income for tax purposes, which is why it is popular with doctors. New York Times reporters ought to be smart enough to understand such things...
Trump has brought up Hunter Biden in the past and two Republican-led Senate committees issued a report last week alleging that the work Hunter Biden did in Ukraine constituted a conflict of interest for the Obama administration. His father had taken the lead on some initiatives dealing with Kiev.
The report did not implicate Joe Biden in wrongdoing, focusing instead on his son, who it said “cashed in” on his father’s position by joining the board of a Ukrainian gas company.
[WND]My assumption was that Pelosi, like most Democrats, wanted to remove the debates as a variable from the equation. Voters needn't care about them, she seemed to be saying. Biden has a 7-point lead in the RealClearPolitics national polling average and still leads in most battleground states, although some are tightening up. Thus: Nothing to see here. Why even watch, America? There has to be something on Netflix.
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, however, thinks there might be something deeper behind this. He also thinks it's why Biden's been "putting a lid" on his days -- i.e., ending any officially scheduled campaign events -- before they even begin.
His theory? The coronavirus will be the Dems' deus ex machina.
Limbaugh was suspicious that, on Thursday, Biden "put a lid" on his campaign day at 9:30 a.m.
"I think they’re up to like 40 percent of this month Biden has had a lid on his campaign," Limbaugh said, according to a transcript from his website. "Well, nobody can figure out why, other than my suggestion (which seems to have been adopted by the conventional wisdom crowd), and that is they really, really, really are prepping him for the debate — really just going all-in on debate prep. I have my doubts. I think these people are of the mind... They’re believing their polling data, and they’re thinking, 'There’s no way that we’re gonna lose this thing unless we do something to screw up.
"'So we’re gonna keep the guy in the basement so that we can’t screw up, so he can’t blow it and we’re gonna do what we can to make sure he gets at least one debate.' You know what’s gonna happen, don’t you? You know what’s gonna happen? ... No. Well, yeah, he’ll screw it up. But sometime between now and the debate ... Two scenarios. Sometime between now and the debate, they’re gonna announce that somebody near Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 and he has to quarantine," he continued. Emphasis added.
Everyone expects them to throw a fit. Everyone expects them to lie. Everyone is prepared to ignore them.
So, they pivot. They pretend they will let this happen. They pretend to play along. Then they pull out the last minute slanderous surprise. They play innocent. They claim that based on events they now have no choice but to ... whatever it is they do.
[PJMedia] Minnesota law limits the number of absentee ballots that a person other than the voter can have to three.
The Project Veritas investigation found three locations inside Ward 6, a ballot harvesting triangle, where the scheme operates: the Riverside Plaza apartments, the senior citizen community at Horn Towers, and the Minneapolis Elections and Voter Services office at 980 E. Hennepin Ave., which also functions as a voting location and ballot drop-off site.
Hennepin County Attorney Jeff Wojciechowski told a Project Veritas journalist on a recorded line the ballot harvesting conduct described to him was: "Illegal, and we will be investigating." Go see the video.
The Project Veritas infiltrator of Omar's corruption is I think is Muslim. Very brave man. The political offices they are trying to occupy through fraud are not just hers but several local offices the extended Omar clan are trying to take over.
[NEWSBUSTERS.ORG] Tom Friedman, a veteran New York Times columnist, appeared on Thursday’s edition of Anderson Cooper 360 with one message: “I'm terrified to find myself ending my career as a journalist covering America's potential second civil war in its history.”
The heart bleeds. *Urp* ‘Scuse me!
This in response to President Trump’s comments questioning the integrity of mail-in voting. Friedman further cried: “The President of the United States has told us, 'I either win the election or delegitimize the election.'”
The leftist media has given a lot of time to the President’s comments, initially made on Wednesday evening, over the past few days, even wildly suggesting the President could use the military to stay in office. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany stated during Thursday’s press briefing that President Trump will accept the results of a “fair and free election.” This was not enough to satisfy Democratic-aligned media.
Could it be because they hope it is neither free nor fair?
The incendiary rhetoric intensified with Friedman declaring: “When you have a President without shame backed by a party without spine amplified by a network without integrity and by social networks in conspiracy theories, behind them are a lot of armed people, if you aren't frightened by this you are not paying attention.”
Call me stupid but I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the logic of 'questioning the integrity of mail-in voting' to 'I win or delegitimizing the election'. Although many bigwig Dims have already stated either 'Joe wins or we'll burn the house down'.
[NYTIMES] When a majority of City Council members promised to “end policing as we know it” after George Floyd’s killing, they became a case study in how idealistic calls for structural change can falter.

A week ago I sent every Minneapolis councel member and the staff of several who listed no email address for themselves a scathing rebuttle for increased crime by the crack heads after they burned and looted their city. I told them the whole world knows crack dealers are in charge and not them.
[FOXNEWS] Peaceful protests against racial injustice are critical for the nation's progress and help to keep law enforcement in check, Sen. Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, now a senatrix from California former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and Joe Biden's wing nut... , D-Calif., said Friday. What if dissent isn't really the highest form of patriotism?
"Nothing that we have achieved that has been about progress, in particular around civil rights, has come without a fight, and so I always am going to interpret these protests as an essential component of evolution in our country -- as an essential component or mark of a real democracy," the vice presidential nominee said during the NAACP's national convention. I've known black people that I've liked and respected. I've known Asians, Latinos, Chinese, Japanese, Thais, Laos, Russian, you name it. The only Esquimeau I've ever met was an anus, but that doesn't tell me they all are. Yet now I'm categorized by race as an incurable rayciss. What if I'm nowhere near as racist as the Black Lives Matter dipshits?
She added that protests were "necessary" as "the people's voices must be heard, and it is often the people who must speak to get their government to do what it is supposed to do, but may not do naturally unless the people speak loudly -- and obviously peacefully." What if having elections every two years lets the people's voices be heard? What if having "spontaneous" riots every time they don't get their way doesn't mean "the people" have spoken, but that the squeaky hinge is demanding the oil?
Harris also praised the "brilliance" and "impact" of "Black Lives Matter," which has received media praise but also come under fire for promoting left-wing stances like opposing the nuclear family. "I actually believe that 'Black Lives Matter' has been the most significant agent for change within the criminal justice system," she said.

[THEFEDERALIST] Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., sent a letter to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 44.81177 years. Senate minority leader as of 2017... , D-N.Y., urging him to pledge not to use "anti-Catholic, anti-Christian, anti-faith" interrogations in the upcoming confirmation hearing for President Trump’s SCOTUS nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
"There is a long history of anti-Catholic hatred by some in this country, and a growing tide of anti-religious animus on the Left now, and I hope you and your colleagues will not play any further part in it," Hawley wrote. "Already, members of your caucus have said that they will do this again—that the nominee’s religious views will be a prime focus," Hawley added.
In the letter, Hawley draws attention to Sen. Dianne Feinstein ...Dem Senator-for-Life from Caliphornica. She has been a politician since about the time she was weaned. Feinstein was the author of the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, and tried it a second time in 2012. Feinstein has chaired the Select Committee on Intelligence since 2009. At age 80, Feinstein is the oldest currently serving United States Senator.... , D-Calif., Sen. Dick Durbin ...Senator-for-Life from Illinois and Democratic Party Whip. In April 2006, Time magazine identified Durbin as one of America's 10 Best Senators, so what's that tell you? He was the first United States Senator to support the presidential candidacy of Barack Obama, then the junior senator from Illinois... , D-Ill., and Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, who made "egregious personal attacks" on Barrett during her previous confirmation to become a federal judge. According to Hawley, Democratic senators’ targeting of Barrett’s Catholicism, specifically Feinstein’s infamous comments claiming that "the dogma lives loudly within you," is "a clear and condescending disparagement of Judge Barrett’s Catholicism."
[THEFEDERALIST] Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Satanism, and motherhood converged in the pages of the Huffington Post on Thursday when Jamie Smith, an attorney and mom, wrote that the death of the Supreme Court justice motivated her to join the Satanic Temple."I am a 40-something attorney and mother who lives in a quiet neighborhood with a yard and a garage full of scooters and soccer balls," Smith said. "I often walk with my children to get ice cream and spend weekends hiking through a national park. I am not the type of person who would normally consider becoming a Satanist, but these are not normal times."
When Ginsburg passed, Smith said she didn’t feel sorrow but rather fear that America is headed toward "theocracy or dictatorship," writing:
When Justice Ginsburg died, I knew immediately that action was needed on a scale we have not seen before. Our democracy has become so fragile that the loss of one of the last guardians of common sense and decency in government less than two months before a pivotal election has put our civil and reproductive rights in danger like never before. And, so, I have turned to Satanism.
"Satanic Temple" began trending on Twitter as readers reacted to the article. Smith’s self-serious tone was met with conservatives taking the piece incredibly seriously, eager to amplify an article that confirmed the left’s fondness for the Devil himself.
