Case Dropped After 4th Grader Faced Criminal Charges For BB Gun In Room During Online Learning
[DailyCaller] Prosecutors dropped criminal charges against a 4th-grade student after he was seen with a BB gun during an online class in Louisiana.

Rondell Coleman, 11, was read his rights and interrogated following the Sept. 18 incident after a police report alleged the boy was "brandishing a gun on camera," according to WDSU. Coleman’s school, East Baton Rouge Parish, recommended him for expulsion and the boy was forced to enroll in another district, the local outlet reported.

"This is a BB gun," Coleman’s grandmother told WDSU. "You’re going to come and read a kid rights because he has a BB gun? I don’t know if they’re confused that we’re not on campus. We’re in our home. We are in our private home."

Louisiana Solicitor General Liz Murrill contacted the 11-year-old’s original school and criminal charges were dropped, according to WDSU. Coleman has since returned to East Baton Rouge Parish, but family said the boy is more quiet and "doesn’t understand what he did wrong," the local outlet reported.

Ka’Mauri Harrison, another Louisiana 4th grader, was threatened with expulsion after he too was seen with a BB gun during an online learning session months prior to Coleman’s case, according to WDSU.

Murrill said both incidents exemplified government overreach.

"We just saw this to be very significant government overreach, and I think everyone in the country is sympathetic to that and that first story really triggered that firestorm," she told the local outlet.

The incidents have prompted state legislators to create the Ka’Mauri Harrison Act, which affords legal protections to online students and mandates schools to create disciplinary procedures by the end of the year, according to WDSU.

The bill is awaiting Democratic Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards’ signature, the local outlet reported.
Any word on whether the Democratic governor plans to sign the thing, or must it await a Republican in office?

Their understanding is that during remote learning the home is part of the school and subject to the school zero-tolerance rules. The student may avoid criminal prosecution but school disciplinary action is still pending, as far as I know.

#13  The perps all probably have qualified immunity from any damages.

However, a case establishing that this is a violation of civil rights could pave the way for other victims to recover damages. Also, an injunction barring any future violations might be comforting.

Trump leads Biden nationally and in Pennsylvania
[Arutz 7] - President Donald Trump has taken the lead over former Vice President Joe Biden in a new national poll, giving the incumbent his first lead over his Democratic challenger in a month and a half.

According to the new Rasmussen daily tracking poll, President Trump’s approval rating is up sharply, rising to a net positive of six points, with 52% of likely voters approving of Trump’s job performance, compared to 46% who disapprove.

The Rasmussen poll also found Trump enjoying a net swing of four points in his favor in a head-to-head matchup against Biden. While the previous Rasmussen poll showed Biden leading Trump by three points, 49% to 46%, the new poll has Trump leading by a single point, 48% to 47%.

That is the first time since mid-September that Trump has led Biden in a national poll.

In the key battleground state of Pennsylvania, a poll by InsiderAdvantage showed Trump edging out Biden by two points, 48% to 46%, two weeks after the polling agency showed Biden leading Trump by three points, 46% to 43%.

Most voters believe Joe Biden knew about Hunter's overseas deals: poll
h/t Instapundit
[NYP] - Most American voters believe Democratic nominee Joe Biden was involved in his son Hunter’s controversial business dealings, a new poll has found in the wake of The Post’s exclusive reporting on the family’s murky overseas ties.

The survey of 1,000 likely voters by Rasmussen Reports found 54 percent believe it’s "likely that Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from Hunter’s overseas business deals."

#1  Unlike Hillary, Joe Biden really must be prosecuted if Trump wins. Obviously, he won't be if he wins. But a reelected Trump must make sure his DOJ prosecutes the Biden family crimes and the reason for this is to thoroughly discredit the media for refusing to cover this story. After the Biden family criminals do the perp walk, Trump must go on national television and explain to the nation exactly what happened. Google and Facebook must face the monopoly music and other media moguls must be publicly shamed and discredited. You wanna talk about truth and reconciliation? OK. Let's have it.

New York Democratic Staffer Arrested for Sexual Assault
[FREEBEACON] A longtime aide to top Democrats in New York was arrested this weekend after he allegedly sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman.

Joseph Brady, legislative director for New York state assemblyman Peter Abbate Jr. (D.), allegedly assaulted the young woman at his residence on Saturday after sending her 16-year-old boyfriend to purchase drugs. The FBI and local authorities searched Brady’s home and said they found narcotics and materials they believe could be used to build a bomb.

Brady joined Abbate’s office after working under former New York City Democratic mayor Mike Bloomberg
...Billionaire former Republican mayor and nanny of New York, Dem candidate for president in 2020. Wants to rid the country of assault weapons, other kinds of guns, and 32-ounce soft drinks...
as a legislative staffer. According to the Times Union, which first reported his arrest, Brady works with local union officials to develop and implement labor legislation.

Law enforcement officials said this weekend they added Brady to a watch list last year after suspecting he was involved in the disappearance of a 42-year-old man, whom they now presume was murdered.

The New York Post reported in 2013 that Brady had used a loophole in state law—while working as Abbate’s staffer—to participate in mixed martial arts fighting, despite the state’s prior prohibition on professional brawls. Brady evaded the law, designating himself as an amateur fighter. The staffer is also allegedly involved in a cycle of violence gang connected to the Hells Angels.

Brady is being held in a county jail on $50,000 bail.

US early voting tops 60 million as historic pace continues
[AlAhram] More than 60 million Americans have cast ballots in the U.S. presidential election with eight days to go,
...or perhaps that many ballots have been received, not necessarily the same thing. It will be interesting to compare ballots cast in certain districts with each district’s total number of registered voters...
a record-breaking pace that could lead to the highest voter turnout in over a century, according to data from the U.S. Elections Project on Monday.

The tally is the latest sign of intense interest in the contest between Republican President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
and Democratic challenger Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant...
, as well as voters’ desire to reduce their risk of exposure to COVID-19, which has killed about 225,000 people across the United States.

Democrats hold a significant advantage in early voting due to their embrace of mail balloting, which Republicans have historically cast in large numbers but have shunned amid repeated and unfounded attacks by Trump who says the system is prone to widespread fraud.

Overall, Democrats hold roughly a two-to-one advantage in early voting numbers.

The high level of early voting has led Michael McDonald, the University of Florida professor who administers the U.S. Elections Project, to predict a record U.S. voter turnout of about 150 million, representing 65% of those eligible to vote, the highest rate since 1908.

U.S. voters have already cast more early votes during this presidential campaign than they did in all of 2016 when they passed the 47 million mark earlier this month, data shows.

Clawing back votes: 7 states allow voters to resubmit ballots
Another reason to keep it simple and vote in person on Election Day. But it’s nice that there is an option for all those who googled what to do if they wanted to change their vote.
[FoxNews] Seven states allow voters to resubmit mail-in ballots after they have already sent them in to be counted, according to 37 out of 50 state election officials who responded to inquires from Fox News.

The laws allow residents in seven states who have already voted for select candidates by mail to change their minds, usually within a specific time frame after the first ballot has been cast. In some states, voters can resubmit ballots several times.
The states are:
Arkansas
Connecticut
Delaware
Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin
New Hampshire
Details at the link.
Other states allow residents to withdraw their mail-in ballots and vote in-person on Election Day, including Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and New Mexico. Some of these states require voters to sign an affidavit canceling their absentee ballots before voting in person.

Voters in most states can also receive new ballots if they have incorrectly filled out their first ballots so as long as they have not been submitted and they contact their local election clerks on time.

#1  Those states matter. PA most of all.

But 3 are the cheese:

Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin

Those 3 are key to Trump winning. Any one of those 3 goes Trump along with PA and FL, and Trump likely wins. 2 of the 3 and its a definite win. All 3 would be a landslide or a big win even without PA.

NH is also important as a bellwether in that it indicates movement toward the GOP in certain groups of voters that can swing other states.

GOP should be doing outreach commercials in "Had enough of Joe's anti-fracking? Tired of Biden hiding? Debate Changed your mind? Here's how to change your vote!"

Months after losing the Democratic primary when, according to his campaign website, he campaigned to "rebuild, repair and replenish" Charm City alongside its residents, Vaughn has been ordered to stay away.

According to court records, Vaughn has been instructed to not abuse, contact, enter a residence and business, and was required to pay the undisclosed complainants’ fees. He is also being sued by the Baltimore County state’s attorney for malicious destruction of property.

Issued in August 2020, the two peace orders expire in January and February 2021, respectively. Vaughn has appealed.

The aspiring politician and self-identified multi-restaurant owner did not say what prompted the peace orders — both involving violations in Baltimore County — but did speak with The Baltimore Post earlier this month about his work opposing Middle River seafood restaurant, Vince’s Crab House, where the son of its founders posted racially insensitive remarks on his personal Facebook page following riots that broke out after the death of George Floyd. A source, familiar with the case, affirmed that the peace orders are connected to disturbances occurring at Vince’s Crab House which is also suing Vaughn for harming the business.

Since the the social media posts were discovered, crowds of protestors have harassed the restaurant and its customers, sometimes yelling racial epithets at them while calling out the offensive posts.

In July, Vince’s Crab House filed suit against Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski for failing to have Baltimore County Police protect the restaurant, leading its owners to shutter the business for nine days which led to loss of revenue and employees’ livelihoods.

In September, racial justice activist, Tamara Bent, who had initially joined the movement opposing the restaurant, told WBFF-TV during a presser that she witnessed organizers accepting envelopes of cash while protesting outside the seafood establishment. One organizer claimed the cash was from passersby thanking protestors for their activism. [Start Press Conference Video at 15:30]

Vaughn has been vocal about his opposition to the restaurant, acting as one of a handful of leaders of the movement which aims to kill the business permanently for one person’s indiscretions. (Stay tuned for The Post’s next story on leaders of the opposition against Vince’s Crab House.)

Although the mainstream media failed to dig into Vaughn’s own past while he campaigned to lead Baltimore, court records also show a slew of past criminal charges against the aspiring city leader. Among them, Vaugh acknowledges a felony conviction in which, records show, he was charged in 2004 for theft.

Campaign finance records show that Vaughn, a successful entrepreneur and restaurant owner himself, almost completely self-funded his run for mayor, loaning himself over $340,000.

Records also show that, in 2019, Waverly Seafood and Crabs, located approximately 11 miles from Vince’s Crab House, donated nearly $3,500 to Vaughn’s campaign.

Vaughn initially agreed to a second interview with The Baltimore Post upon his return from an out-of-town trip. Instead, he posted a video on Facebook Thursday, affirming his commitment to shutting down Vince’s Crab House, stating, in part, "We will continue to have all our foots in your ass, when one of your knees is on our neck."

NY Gov. Cuomo Wants To Legalize Marijuana To Cover Budget Deficit
[DAILYWIRE] New York state faces a nearly $60 billion budget deficit through 2024.

The answer? Pot.

Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo says legalizing marijuana could be key to offsetting the massive budget deficit and helping the COVID-19 torn state recover.

"There are a lot of reasons to get it done, but one of the benefits is it also brings in revenue, and all states — but especially this state — we need revenue and we’re going to be searching the cupboards for revenue," Cuomo told the Staten Island Advance.

"And I think that is going to put marijuana over the top," he added.

The governor said he will "soon" legalize marijuana during a virtual event to promote his new book "American Crisis" about the state’s response to the pandemic.

"A top Cuomo adviser said he’d like to put the legalization plan in action by early 2021, according to marijuanamoment.net," the Advance wrote. "We’re working on this. We’re going to reintroduce this in our budget in January," he said, according to the report. "We think we can get it done by April 1."

The move will require approval by the state legislature, which has twice rejected such a bill as politicians argued over who gets the money and whether counties could opt out of the plan.

Last year, Cuomo signed a bill to reduce the criminal punishment for unlawful possession of marijuana and strip penalties for those found with less than two ounces of marijuana. The bill also began the process for expunging residents’ records for past convictions for possessing small amounts of the drug.

Best case: New York taxes and regulates the *bleep* out of the legal market, ensuring that the black market continues and that revenue is only about a third of predicted value.

'Over My Dead Body': Bill Cassidy Torches Joe Biden's Plan to Shut Down Oil, Natural Gas
[BREITBART] Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Friday that former Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run. If you believe Tara Reade you probably shouldn't vote for him....
would shut down America’s energy industry "over my dead body."During Thursday night’s presidential debate between Biden and President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
, Biden pledged to shut down the oil industry.

"I would transition from the oil industry, yes," Biden said.

He explained further, saying, "Because the oil industry pollutes. It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time. And I’d stop giving federal subsidies to the oil industry. He won’t give federal subsidies to solar and wind. Why are we giving it to the oil industry?"

Cassidy told Breitbart News that Biden’s promise to close the oil industry exposes Biden and the Democrat Party’s elitism and lack of concern for the working-class families that will lose their livelihoods in the process.

"I think it exposes the elitism of the Democratic Party
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
. I read Joe flew away in his private jet. He will still have the jet fuel; he will just buy it from someplace else. Another 11 million jobs, 250,000 of them in Louisiana in oil and gas, they’re gone," Cassidy said. "But they’re not his voters. They’re in flyover country. So his coastal elites would do extremely well; they don’t worry about that, they won’t be inconvenienced, they’ll probably repeal the SALT tax so that they have even more money. For the folks back home, who have good-paying jobs because of the oil and gas industry, an asset that everyone can see will be needed for the next 50 years. They’ll be a little harder off."

"Clearly, they thought it was a mistake to finally let out the truth, but what I find is most upsetting is the future of those families is those jobs. When I’m reelected, it’ll be over my dead body if he pushes that agenda, and I cannot believe the lack of concern he’s showing for families that depend on that income," he added.

Jim Biden Lashes Out At Tony Bobulinski For Revealing Biden Corruption: ''Go F*** Yourself''
[TRENDINGPOLITICS] Ex-Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski recently came forward and provided damning information on the Biden family, specifically how they went behind his back and did a shady $5 million deal with the Chinese energy company CEFC. On Saturday, Bobulinski texted Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
's brother, Jim Biden, about going behind his back.

"You can imagine by shock when reading the report yesterday put out by the Senate committee. The fact that you and HB [Hunter Biden] were lying to Rob, James and I while accepting $5 MM from Cefc is infuriating," Bobulinski texted to Jim Biden on Whatsapp.

"Looks like they are looking under every rock relative to CEFC and Dong. I have gotten calls and just not responded," Bobulinski added.

According to the Daily Caller's Chuck Ross, Bobulinski then called Jim Biden. Jim Biden allegedly answered the call and told Bobulinski to "go f*ck yourself."

Last week, Bobulinski held an explosive presser where announced that he would be handing over all his materials involving the Biden's to the FBI.

Fox News Correspondent John Roberts first reported on Thursday afternoon that Bobulinski "will turn his electronic devices and records of business dealings with Hunter and Jim Biden over to the FBI."

#2  If he had just paid the man for fixing his computer and picked it up none of this would have come to light. Dim bulb doesn't begin....

BTW.. before tumblr was cleaned up about half the photos and videos on that site looked like they were taken by repairmen off of peoples phones and laptops. If you have anything that you could be ashamed of on any electronic device never take it to be repaired without removing what should worry you. For cellphones it does get tough so always back up on a home computer. That way you can wipe it before getting it repaired. If that's not possible eat the cost and smash the phone.

For computers have your home partition on another drive. For windows that would be Profiles or Users. For Linux /home. For Apple - look it up. Then pull your home partition out of the computer before taking it to be repaired.

#8  Always keep a backup of your hard drive. The Documents, Pictures, Videos and Music folders should be backed up to a thumb drive at least weekly. Your browser also keeps potentially sensitive and/or important information in the Program Files folder. Then if your hard drives goes south, install a new hard drive. It's easy to do.

I would not take a computer or a cell phone to a repairman. They are relatively cheap so destroy the old one and buy a new one. If you keep a back up, all of your files can be restored.

But the most important thing is: Don't commit crimes and, if you do, don't document them with email, pictures, videos, recordings or text messages.

Hillary: Most Republicans 'Cowards, Spineless Enablers'; 'Literally Sick To My Stomach' Thinking Of Trump Win
That’s one way to lose excess thighage...
[DAILYWIRE] Twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Crooked Hillary Clinton
...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do...
called most Republicans “cowards” and “spineless enablers” for supporting President Donald Trump, who defeated Clinton during the 2016 presidential election with zero political experience.

According to a report by Axios, Clinton told New York Times Opinion podcast host Kara Swisher on Sunday that “most Republicans are going to want to close the page” and “want to see [Trump] gone as much as we do, but they can’t say it publicly.”

Most Republicans, Clinton claimed, “have been cowards, spineless enablers” of the president.

The former secretary of state also said it makes her “literally sick” to her stomach to think about Trump winning a second term in the White House.

Clinton told Swisher she “can’t entertain the idea of him winning. … It would cause cognitive dissonance of a grave degree.”

“[I]t makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we’d have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions,” she added. “And damaging of our norms and our values. And lessening of our leadership. And the list goes on.”

Justice Amy Coney Barrett Sworn in at the White House
[BREITBART] President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
hosted a swearing-in ceremony for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett on Monday night, about an hour after the Senate voted to confirm her."She is one of our nation’s most brilliant legal scholars and she will make an outstanding justice on the highest court in our land," Trump said.

The final Senate vote was 52 -48.

The White House held the swearing-in ceremony on the South Lawn as the South Portico of the White House was decorated with lighting and large American flags.

"It is highly fitting that Justice Barrett fills the seat of a pioneer for women, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg," Trump said at the ceremony.

Trump noted that Barrett was the fifth woman to serve on the Supreme Court and the first mother of school-aged children to sit on the court.

Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, the longest-serving justice currently on the Supreme Court, presided over the ceremony.

Susan Collins says she is voting against Coney Barrett confirmation
Such effective posturing on her part.
