Prince Charles once again changes his global warming doom deadline
[American Thinker] The presumptive heir to the British throne (some of us hold the hope that his mother will make arrangements to skip over him) Prince Charles keeps switching the deadline for saving humanity from the imaginary threat of man-made global warming. The new "drop dead" date is even more urgent than previous ones issued from his palace.

James Delingpole of Breitbart:
The Prince of Wales has warned global leaders that if we don’t tackle climate change in 18 months the human race will go extinct.

No, really. Here are his actual words, in a speech in London yesterday to foreign ministers from the Commonwealth.

I am firmly of the view that the next 18 months will decide our ability to keep climate change to survivable levels and to restore nature to the equilibrium we need for our survival.

Marc Morano of Climate Depot provides the embarrassing history of the elastic deadline for doom:

In 2009, we had only 8 years:

Pending retirement rule could make the IRS your biggest IRA beneficiary, expert warns
[FOX Business] A retirement reform bill is advancing through Congress, which includes some positive provisions for workers ‐ but at least one big downside that could hurt wealthier retirees.

The legislation ‐ known as the SECURE Act ‐ cleared the House of Representatives in May, and is awaiting Senate approval. Among its more well-known provisions are: increasing access to retirement plans, extending the age limit by which people would be allowed to stash money into IRA accounts and delaying when people would be required to take required minimum distributions to 72, from 70 1/2.

As previously noted by FOX Business, there is at least one measure that could seriously impact retirees and their savings. That is the potential elimination of stretch IRAs.

The new proposal stipulates that most non-spouses who inherit an account must drain it within 10 years of the owner’s death, while the current law allows them to stretch it out over a lifetime.

Stretch IRAs are an estate planning strategy ‐ a way that people can pass on their retirement funds to their kids, grandkids or other beneficiaries. For a child, for example, the funds (under current law) can grow tax-deferred or tax-free over the course of his or her lifetime, while taking smaller required minimum distributions along the way (based on age and life expectancy). Those distributions, however, are subject to income taxes.

#2  Those distributions, however, are subject to income taxes.

Yeah, and that tax bill takes a great big bite out of the distribution. I've heard all the arguments and I'm certainly no expert but it makes me wonder if it wouldn't be better to let that money be taxed when you're working and can afford it and then put it into a regular old investment account.

Woke assimilation: Teaching our politicians to hate America
[NYPOST] Beto O’Rourke;
...Kennedyeque businessman, musician, skateboard artiste, and politician who represented Texas' 16th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. Beto is a Latino nickname for people whose names end in "erto," like "Roberto" or "Alberto." He is seeking the Dem nomination for President in 2020 because he has nice hair and lots of teeth. He was born into a local political family in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of a prep school and Columbia University, which is not in Texas. In 2005, he was elected to the El Paso City Council. He was elected to Congress in 2012 after defeating eight-term incumbent Silvestre Reyes in the Democratic primary. He declined to seek re-election in 2018, instead running for the Senate against Republican Ted Cruz, running a campaign that drew national attention because of his skateboarding skills. A few months after he lost, he announced his campaign for President...
‐ the losing Texas candidate for the US Senate who bootstrapped his way into becoming a losing presidential candidate ‐ had a message for refugees who had come to America: Your new country is a hellhole.

The former congressman told a roundtable of refugees and immigrants colonists in Nashville last week: "This country was founded on white supremacy. And every single structure that we have in this country still reflects the legacy of slavery and segregation and Jim Crow and suppression."

Hell Introduces New Extra-Hot Section For People Who Lick Ice Cream And Put It Back On The Shelf
[Babylon Bee] HELL‐After learning of a new video trend in which youths are licking ice cream, putting the lid back on, and placing the container back on the store shelf, hell's management unveiled a new extra-hot section specifically for these people.

The section of the place of torture and separation from God is heated an extra 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The floor is also made of Lego bricks. Christian movies are playing on the television sets, and country music is playing on the speakers. Sources were also able to confirm that several hell employees will be scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard for all eternity throughout the place of torment.

"We feel this punishment is fitting," said a representative for hell. "Frankly, a lot of higher-ups thought it was too forgiving. They were thinking we should take things up to at least 100,000 degrees, but they were finally talked back down to a more reasonable 76,000 degrees."

While the idea of hell has been controversial among many progressive Christians in recent years, all believers came together to affirm that this is "a great idea."

New clues on why women's Alzheimer's risk differs from men's
LOS ANGELES (AP) ‐ New research gives some biological clues to why women may be more likely than men to develop Alzheimer’s disease and how this most common form of dementia varies by sex.
Men and women are different? Fake science, genetic quackery, etc. Surely not to be believed.
At the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday, scientists offered evidence that the disease may spread differently in the brains of women than in men. Other researchers showed that several newly identified genes seem related to the disease risk by sex.

Two-thirds of Alzheimer’s cases in the U.S. are in women and "it’s not just because we live longer," said Maria Carrillo, the association’s chief science officer. There’s also "a biological underpinning" for sex differences in the disease, she said.

Some previous studies suggest that women at any age are more likely than men to develop Alzheimer’s. Scientists also know that a gene called APOE-4 seems to raise risk more for women than for men in certain age groups.

At the same time, women with the disease in its early stages may go undiagnosed because they tend to do better on verbal tests than men, which masks Alzheimer’s damage.

Between Lizards
[AccordingToHoyt] ...What horrified me, and to an extent still does, was that Americans born and bred ‐ you’ll forgive me, my friends? ‐ have absolutely not a blathering clue about world politics, or how much power governments not fettered by the constitution have, or the havoc they can wreak on a peaceable nation.

Recall when I first heard this it was during the cold war. Having heard Jimmy Carter talk and pontificate I was very well aware of how the Soviet Union viewed him, and how he’d roll before them. What was at stake was in fact whether the world at large would become a farm for the Soviets to harvest to disguise the fact their vaunted empire couldn’t even support itself, and a future reminiscent of 1984.

Also, whatever else one said, and honestly he was a man, like others ‐ and we shall not see his like again ‐ Ronald Reagan LOVED America. Meanwhile Jimmy Carter could barely tolerate our stench on him, as he toured European capitals. (Yes, he didn’t despise us as openly as Obama, but it was there.)

It seemed to me only a fool would continue putting himself in the power of one who hated him, when one who loved him was available.

9th Circuit: DOJ Can Withhold Money From Sanctuary Cities
[LI] The Trump administration’s decision to crack down on sanctuary policies by withholding funding resulted in Los Angeles being denied a $3 million grant, a move that prompted the city to sue the DOJ.

On Friday, the Trump administration scored a huge win when the 9th Circuit overturned a nationwide injunction barring the DOJ from prioritizing taxpayer monies to cities and states that cooperate with federal immigration officials.

The three-judge panel, in a 2-1 vote, found that the Trump administration has the right to deny sanctuary cities and states Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grants.

The Hill reports:
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ruled in favor of the Trump administration’s efforts to prioritize federal dollars for local policing to towns and cities that complied with certain immigration policies.

The ruling, a split 2-1 decision, said the Department of Justice (DOJ) was within its rights to withhold Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grants from sanctuary cities and states over their refusal to work with federal immigration enforcement authorities and instead prioritize agencies that focused on unauthorized immigration and agreed to give Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) access to jail records and immigrants in custody.

The city of Los Angeles first sued the administration after it was denied a $3 million grant on the grounds that it did not receive the money because it did not focus on immigration for its community policing grant application. The decision reversed a district court’s ruling.

"The panel rejected Los Angeles’s argument that DOJ’s practice of giving additional consideration to applicants that choose to further the two specified federal goals violated the Constitution’s Spending Clause," wrote Judge Sandra Ikuta, joined by Judge Jay Bybee.

"The panel held that DOJ did not exceed its statutory authority in awarding bonus points to applicants that selected the illegal immigration focus area or that agreed to the Certification," she wrote.

You can read the ruling here.

According to the LA Times, LA City Attorney Mike "Feuer said the city would explore all options, including an appeal to a larger panel of the 9th Circuit."

Netnuts Exposed as Anti-Semites: Ex-CNN Talking Head Says News Networks are 'Zionist Organizations'
[Jewish Insider] PHILADELPHIA ‐ Former CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill claimed that news outlets like NBC and ABC were "Zionist organizations" that produced "Zionist content," during a panel on Friday at the annual Netroots Nation summit held by progressive activists in Philadelphia.
Graphic - Nazi Propaganda Poster. I think that this poster is a propaganda showing a "typical Jew" that has a lot of money, and takes care of all the money, (he is wearing banker clothes, and most Jews were identified to take care of the money, making them look rich). Then you can see that the light is the "German" hand is point to the Jew, saying in a way that something is the Jew's fault.
The summit describes itself as "the largest annual conference for progressives" and has long been a stop for Democratic presidential hopefuls, including this year.

Hill’s comments came less than a year after he lost his CNN perch after calling for a "free Palestine from the river to the sea," during an appearance at the U.N. The statement was interpreted by many as a call for the elimination of Israel, something Hill denied.

He made his comments during a panel on "embedding Palestinian rights in the 2020 agenda," which also featured statements that Israel was engaged in a "white supremacist" project.

In response to a question from the audience, Hill described the choices faced by young journalists when they tell stories about Palestinians.
"tell stories" is a large part of your credibility problems, Journolists
"They’re like, I want to work for Fox, or I want to work for ABC or NBC or whoever. I want to tell these stories," he said. "You have to make choices about where you want to work. And if you work for a Zionist organization, you’re going to get Zionist content. And no matter how vigorous you are in the newsroom, there are going to be two, three, four, 17, or maybe one powerful person ‐ not going to suggest a conspiracy ‐ all news outlets have a point of a view. And if your point of view competes with the point of view of the institution, you’re going to have challenges."

Are Women of Color Above Reproach?
[PJ] In the wake of President Trump’s controversial tweets about congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayana Pressley, most of the criticism has been that Trump’s comments were racist, sexist, etc., etc. Because it's far easier to launch canned accusations than to address the substance of what he said. Nevertheless, the media predictably latched on to that narrative, and a quick review of related stories almost universally refer to Trump's "racist tweets" because obviously, attacking these four congresswomen couldn't be motivated by anything but racism and/or sexism, right? According to the media and the Democrats, there is no other explanation they want us to believe.

Did I miss the memo that minority women are now above reproach? Are we really supposed to accept the notion that AOC, Tlaib, Omar, and Pressley have done nothing to deserve criticism? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accuses America of running concentration camps, and lies about conditions at migrant detention centers for political points. Ayanna Pressley, while speaking at the left-wing Netroots Nation conference on Sunday, said that Democrats don't need "any more black faces that don't want to be a black voice." Ilhan Omar has made repeated anti-Semitic remarks, including the accusation that "Jewish money controls Congress," and on Monday refused to condemn al-Qaeda. Back in May, Rasida Tlaib bizarrely stated: "There’s always kind of a calming feeling [...] when I think of the Holocaust." These people may have been elected by their districts but they are an embarrassment to the U.S. Congress.

These women are not part of the mainstream of America. They believe America is evil, they are racialists and anti-Semites. Let’s stop pretending they are garden-variety freshman members of Congress. Irrespective of their race and sex, they’re dangerous women who have been propped up by the media as de facto leaders of the Democratic Party. The power they have can’t be overstated. Criticism from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez forced Joe Biden to flip-flop on a number of issues. Yet any time they are criticized, the knee-jerk response to hurl accusations of racism and sexism at the one criticizing them. Recently, we’ve seen this happen internally in the Democratic Party, when AOC accused Nancy Pelosi of racism, with similar accusations being leveled against Joe Biden from Cory Booker, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris. It’s the default attack setting of contemporary Democrats, even against their own.
