Dance floor brawl erupts on NYC-bound Carnival cruise ship prompting Coast Guard response
[FOX] Dozens of cruise ship passengers were involved in an all-out brawl in a nightclub on a cruise ship as it sailed through international waters headed for New York City overnight into Tuesday, according to reports.

Security for the Carnival Magic tried to intervene when the physical fight escalated to as many as 60 people but eventually had to call in the Coast Guard to help escort the ship back, according to the New York Post.

The ship arrived Tuesday morning with New York police waiting as it docked.

The Daily Mail has a shocking video of the melee.

#9  I knew immediately that this would be buried in the memory hole upon arrival without even bothering to look. Tolerance has become cowardice since speaking the truth has become dangerous.

In our discussions at the Criminal Justice Policy Agency about the policy implications of the emergent theme that the incarceration demographics of California had become woefully, disproportionately minority over the latter part of the 20th century, we were essentially drawn to two simple polarities as conclusion. Either the minority population of the state was disproportionately criminal in its behavior, or the justice system was inherently racist. Since politically only one answer was acceptable and alternative explanations about the petri-dish that grew criminality (fatherless, poor, welfare-based, ill educated, multi-generational matriarch households in dense urban cores) were utterly unacceptable. Volia, the emergent thread began of defund the police, eliminate criminal penalties, and enhance economic subsidy as the prescriptive relief.

It gets votes and as long as the demokrat base is insulated by geography from the result, white-guilt ATMs keep printing money in "programs".

AS one famous minority celebrity once remarked:
"those chickens have come home to roost".

#10  “ fatherless, poor, welfare-based, ill educated, multi-generational matriarch households in dense urban cores” caused by policies created by London Johnson”. Why is there so many problems in Chicago? Mayor Daily wanted to protect all the light skinned people on the southwest side of the expressway. These problems could be resolved by a few rules! No money to people who create more than one illegitimate child. DNA tests of the child to put men in jail or fining them for not supporting their children.

Ludacris' manager survives deadly shooting in Buckhead parking lot
[AJC] A shooting in a Buckhead parking lot killed one man and sent two others — including music executive Chaka Zulu — to a hospital with injuries late Sunday night.

Atlanta police investigated the triple shooting in the 2200 block of Peachtree Road into the early Monday morning hours. Several restaurants and shops share the parking lot, which is situated behind a row of businesses and off the busy street.

Police Lt. Germain Dearlove told Channel 2 Action News the shooting was the "result of a dispute in the parking lot," but he did not say if the three victims had visited any of the businesses before the gunfire rang out around 11:35 p.m.

The men were all taken to hospitals, where one was pronounced dead. He was later identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 23-year-old Artez Benton of Scottdale.

LA board of supervisors votes unanimously to give BACK prime beachfront land worth hundreds of millions of dollars to black family - almost a hundred years after it was seized by the state to build public park
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The land was bought by Charles and Willa Bruce in 1912 who turned it into a resort for Black families known as 'Bruce's Beach'

  • It was taken from the family by the local government in a forced transaction that officials in 2022 have conceded was motivated by racism

  • In Tuesday's vote, the county voted 5-0 n favor of returning the land to the descendants of the Bruce family

  • The county will lease the land from the family for two years at a cost of $413,000 and have an option to purchase for $20 million

  • It's not clear what the Bruce family intends to do with the land

I’ve Lost My Primary School, Teachers’ College Certificates, Tinubu’s 'Placeholder', Masari Tells Electoral Commission

Mr Kabir Ibrahim Masari, the running mate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that his school certificates are missing.

This comes amid the controversy surrounding the supposed loss of Tinubu’s credentials.

SaharaReporters had reported how the late legal luminary, Gani Fawehinmi sued Tinubu for lying under oath that he attended Government College, Ibadan and the University of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
It reported that Tinubu had made the claim of loss of certificates in his filings with INEC in 1999 and 2003 when he ran for governor of Lagos State.

Amidst this controversy, his running mate Mr Masari also filed a sworn affidavit for the loss of some original documents to the nation's electoral body.

Peoples Gazette reported that the affidavit the APC vice-presidential candidate submitted to INEC showed that he misplaced vital documents including the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of one plot KT 17522 in Katsina state, his Grade II certificate from Katsina Teachers College and his primary school certificate.

The electoral law mandates candidates to submit their personal credentials that will be published for public scrutiny ahead of elections.

The APC had submitted Masari's name as Tinubu's running mate for the 2023 presidential election to meet the June 17 deadline given by INEC for its submission. Tinubu, however, later stated that he was still looking for a running mate, confirming reports that Masari's name was submitted as a placeholder, pending when the party would find a running mate for Tinubu.

UK’s Prince Charles reportedly accepted bags with millions in cash from Qatari PM
Such a smooth one, that crown prince. Which of his royal ancestors does he most resemble?
[IsraelTimes] Newspaper says British royal received $3.2 million from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani; his office says money was deposited with one of his charities, denies any wrongdoing.

The United Kingdom’s Prince Charles accepted bags of cash worth $3.2 million from a senior Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
i politician, according to a newspaper report.

The Sunday Times of London said the prince was given a total of 3 million euros by Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar. It said the money was handed over to the British royal at private meetings between 2011 and 2015 — on one occasion in a suitcase, and on another in shopping bags from London’s Fortnum & Mason department store.

The report said that Charles’s aides were uncomfortable with the transfers but did little to intervene.

According to the newspaper, the money was deposited into the accounts of the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund. It did not allege that anything illegal was done.

Charles’ office, Clarence House, said in a statement that the donations "were passed immediately to one of the prince’s charities who carried out the appropriate governance and have assured us that all the correct processes were followed."

The prince’s charitable fund told the newspaper it had verified "that the donor was a legitimate and verified counterparty ... and our auditors signed off on the donation after a specific enquiry during the audit. There was no failure of governance."

Qatar’s government communications office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

As Qatar’s prime minister between 2007 and 2013, Hamad oversaw the oil-rich state’s sovereign wealth fund, which has major property investments around the world, including London’s Shard skyscraper, Heathrow Airport and Harrods department store.

The revelation in the Sunday Times added to the speculation of a "cash-for-access culture" surrounding Prince Charles, who has long been accused of using his charities’ bank account for his own personal finances.
So smooth. Thank goodness his son takes after his grandmother instead of his father.
London police are currently investigating a separate allegation that people associated with another of the prince’s charities, the Prince’s Foundation, offered to help a Saudi billionaire secure honors and citizenship in return for donations. Clarence House has said Charles had no knowledge of any such offer.

#14  If princes Andrew, Charles and Harry is out of the running, who's left to assume the throne?

The throne passes from Queen Elizabeth II to her eldest son, Prince Charles, then to his eldest son, Prince William, then to his elder son, Prince George. All the brothers of Charles were spares until he had an heir of his own, then Prince Harry was the spare until Prince William had heirs of his own. Now George’s younger siblings Louis and Charlotte are the spares until George produces heirs.

The evidence suggests it is difficult to make the transition from being groomed as a spare to finding one’s own place in the world.

I believe that if the direct heir and spares die off without leaving any heirs, they have to climb back up the family tree until closest loving descendant is found. This is how Victoria became queen after George IV’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, died in childbirth, leaving him without an heir. When George IV died, his next younger living brother was crowned William IV, but he had no surviving legitimate children. By the time William IV died, I believe the only living legitimate child born to any of his remaining brothers was Victoria. Her father would have been king in turn, but he died only a year after she was born. So there it was.

Turkey's Baykar to donate three UAVs to Ukraine after crowdfunding campaign
ISTANBUL, June 27 (Reuters) - Turkish defence firm Baykar said on Monday it would donate three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine, after a crowdfunding campaign there raised enough funds to buy "several" of the Bayraktar TB2 model.

The TB2 has been hugely popular in Ukraine, where it helped destroy Russian artillery systems and armoured vehicles. It even became the subject of a patriotic expletive-strewn hit song in Ukraine that mocked Russian troops, with the chorus "Bayraktar, Bayraktar". read more

Baykar said the crowdfunding campaign in Ukraine had reached the milestone in a few days and that business leaders as well ordinary people contributed to the fund.

"Baykar will not accept payment for the TB2s, and will send three UAVs free of charge to the Ukrainian war front," the company said in a statement.

"We ask that raised funds be remitted instead to the struggling people of Ukraine," it said.

Russia has previously complained to Turkey over its sale of Bayraktar TB2 armed drones to Ukraine, a high level Turkish bureaucrat said, but added that the sales by Baykar, a private company, were not state-to-state deals. read more

Turkey has forged close ties with Russia in energy, defence and trade, and relies heavily on Russian tourists. Baykar had sold the drones to Kyiv despite Russian objections and signed a deal to co-produce more before the invasion, angering Moscow.

The TB2, which has also been used in the conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, now spearheads Turkey's global defence export push.

Lithuania's defence ministry said earlier this month that Turkey's Defence Industry Agency would donate a TB2 to Lithuania for transfer to Ukraine after Lithuanians crowdfunded nearly 6 million euros to buy it.

#2  Seriously? How dumb are people?

Turkey is in NATO for a darned good reason. It allows an excellent jumping-off point for an invasion of Russia. It allows two avenues of attack - one the traditional route the West has followed since the days of the Teutonic Knights, and the other up the Caucasus.

This was one of the big mistakes the Nazis made, failing to ally with Turkey and going with a single axis of attack. We won't make the same mistake. We will also bring winter coats this time.

Afterwards, the racists pulled up the reserve and heavy armored vehicles. They again tried to attack the position of the Kryvyi Rih Guards.

Fighters, repelling an enemy attack, destroyed two BMP-2. And officer Pavlo aimed an RPG-7 hand grenade launcher at a truck with the invaders' personnel. The occupiers were destroyed .

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Vesti] At the moment, it is dangerous to move around Lisichansk, as the whole city is strewn with mines. As the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, says, all stuffed with anti-personnel mines.

Residents of the city are asked to limit movement on the streets.

Gaidai also noted that battles are constantly going on around Lisichansk. At the same time, a “silent” evacuation is still taking place from the city.

Authorities of Lugansk region lost contact with Lisichansk - Gaidai

[Vesti] The authorities of the Luhansk region have lost contact with Lisichansk.

This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, on the air of the FREEDOM project on the Ukraine 24 Youtube channel .

"We left Starlinks (SpaceX's satellite system - ed.) Both in hospitals and in the State Emergency Service, but they are still few," he said.

Gaidai spoke about yesterday's strike of the Russian military on the city, when people were collecting water.

“Yesterday there was an arrival of a Hurricane, and this is a cluster Hurricane. That is, a rocket arrived, which was divided into many parts and then still inflicted a damaging effect. Of those wounded who were taken away from us after yesterday’s shelling, there are a lot of wounded with amputation of limbs," he said.

According to him, the Russian troops are also carrying out remote mining of the city with the help of prohibited anti-personnel mines.

"And plus, with the help of shelling, Russia scatters the so-called petals across the territory of Lisichansk - these are such small anti-personnel mines, stepping on which or trying to raise it, well, there is not such a big chance that a person will die, but a limb will be torn off," Gaidai added.

Authorities estimate that approximately 15,000 of the 95,000 residents who have refused to leave the city remain in Lysychansk.

At the same time, there is no water, gas and electricity in the city, but the necessary stocks of medicines have been left.

In addition, the head of the OVA said that it was impossible to drive along the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway because of the bombed bridge. Other routes are used to communicate with the city, but they are under constant shelling.

Note that Russian troops are storming Lisichansk from the south and south-west . Fighting continues between Volcheyarovka and the oil refinery in Lisichansk. Russian troops are trying to blockade the city and seize transport links with the Donetsk region.

The second incident occurred at the headquarters of the Metro, where yesterday they began to pay salaries to "volunteers" - people who worked on the removal of rubble and in landscaping. The process was controlled by State Duma deputy Sablin. Instead of the announced salary for a month and a half, people were given only a month - 11 thousand rubles each, and the rest for half a month was offered to "forgive". On this issue, "there is good news," he added. Russia has agreed that Ukraine, Turkey and the UN can play a role in unlocking grain in Ukrainian ports, Draghi said. Now everyone is waiting for the final "yes" of the Kremlin, and it may sound "very soon".

17:08 Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov announced rocket attacks on the city.

17:03 Occupation "authorities" of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions set a new "rate" of currency exchange: 1 hryvnia = 1.5 rubles (instead of 2). Earlier, the "LPR" and "DPR" switched to the same course.

16:58 The SBU has established the identity of two Russian commanders who gave the order to shoot civilians in the Kyiv region. This is battalion commander Major Maxim Krasnoshchekov and deputy company commander Major Alexander Vasiliev - servicemen of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation.

They led the actions of motorized rifle units of the Russian Federation during the occupation of the village of Pobeda, Kyiv region. The invaders forcibly kept local residents in one of the premises and tortured them, and then ordered their subordinates to shoot people with machine guns right at the place of torture and blow up the building with the bodies in order to hide the war crime. Majors Krasnoshchekov and Vasiliev were announced on suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war.

16:52 The prosecutor's office will check the actions of the officials of the shopping center in Kremenchuk, who did not provide evacuation during the missile attack. Iraq
Two Iraqi university professors were gunned down in the Kurdish regional capital Arbil

Shootings as a means of settling scores are far from rare in Iraq — its legacy of war and sectarian conflict mean the country’s 40 million people count some 7.6 million firearms, according to figures from the Small Arms Survey.

Police believe the shooter did not originally intend to kill the engineering professor, but rather his wife, who is a law professor at the same university and was away from home at the time, Khosnaw said.

The suspect was expelled from Soran University by the first victim’s wife and was then refused a place at Salaheddin University by the second victim, the governor said.

He had been arrested several times previously after making death threats against the second victim, whose bodyguard was also maimed in the attack.
Rudaw adds considerably more detail, including that the family says the killer is mentally ill.
