Now deceased Sgt. of Arms at the Senate admitted, all of the 'agitation was done by paid agitators'
[Newsweek] The Senate's Sergeant at Arms during the Capitol riot, Michael Stenger, died on Monday, one day before the Committee investigating the attack is set to reveal new evidence in a surprise hearing on Tuesday.

Stenger's death was reported by Fox News' Chad Pergram on Monday, but the cause of his sudden passing at the age of 71 has not been disclosed.

Stenger was the man in charge of defending the Capitol when this was attacked by an angry mob of Donald Trump's supporters attempting to stop the peaceful transfer of power to elected President Joe Biden on January 6, 2021. On that fateful day, the Senate Sergeant at Arms reportedly refused to request the assistance of the National Guard.

Only one day after the deadly riot, Stenger resigned from the post he had taken on in April 2018 amid harsh criticism against his lack of proper reaction at the attack on the Capitol. Two others top Capitol security officials, including Irving and Sund, also resign on that same day.

'Cryptoqueen' added to FBI's most wanted list
[Washington Examiner] The FBI added the "Cryptoqueen" to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list for allegedly leading a scheme to defraud millions of people in a fake cryptocurrency scheme.

Bulgarian Ruja Ignatova co-founded OneCoin, a fake cryptocurrency company, in 2014 and has defrauded investors out of over $4 billion, according to the FBI. Authorities are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Ignatova.

OneCoin was promoted as a cryptocurrency to rival the popular Bitcoin but was used by Ignatova to take advantage of people seeking to invest in the cryptocurrency craze, according to the FBI.

FBI Special Agent Ronald Shimko is working on the case in the bureau's New York field office. He explained the way Ignatova allegedly scammed investors with her scheme in a statement.

Update from Deutsche Welle at 1:45 p.m. ET: Ms Ignatova is a German citizen.
Ignatova, who was born in Bulgaria, has been on the run for five years, when it was discovered she had bugged the apartment belonging to her US boyfriend and realized he was cooperating with the FBI. She boarded a plane from Bulgaria to Greece and has not been seen since.

Ignatova's accomplice, former corporate lawyer Mark Scott, was recently found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering by a New York City federal court.

#3  I've been watching a "Nollywood" historical film set in the Medieval Islamic kingdom of Zazzau called Amina. I'm kind of into it: violent, sordid, with a kind of budget Game of Thrones feel to it. Slavery is depicted as not only normal, but the basis of the kingdom's economy - and the source of the protagonists' wealth. There are absolutely no white people in the movie.

It's not exactly made for the delicate sensibilities of a Western audience. To put it mildly.

#4  Oh look, literally dehumanizing Africans. How unusual.

I've met a ton of Africans and most are fine, upstanding Christians who go to church, practice charity and actually try to live their lives according to the Ten Commandments.

But hey, Neanderthals, right?

#6  How many Muslim Africans have you met, Albemarle Snerert7268? How many animists? How many Communist atheists? Did you meet your upstanding Christians in situ, or had they emigrated to your part of the world, wherever outside of Africa that might be? What do they say about their fellow Africans who are not Christian?

For information: according to the CIA World Factbook, Nigerian society breaks down ethnically as follows:

Hausa 30%, Yoruba 15.5%, Igbo (Ibo) 15.2%, Fulani 6%, Tiv 2.4%, Kanuri/Beriberi 2.4%, Ibibio 1.8%, Ijaw/Izon 1.8%, other 24.7% (2018 est.)

And religiously:

Muslim 53.5%, Roman Catholic 10.6%, other Christian 35.3%, other .6% (2018 est.)

The native Jews of Nigeria are part of that 0.6%, but unless you spent time among the Igbo, also known as Biafrans, or certain other communities, you’ll not have met any of them to bear witness that they’re also fine, upstanding citizens— they are content keeping to themselves.

Separately, you’ll want to note that Sahara Reporters is a Nigerian effort — Nigerian expats tweeting reports from somewhere safer than the Ould Sod, I believe. But do go on accusing them of racistically dehumanising their fellow Nigerians.

#7  /\ What you have experienced Ab, and what many of us in the South and elsewhere have also experienced is cultural assimilation. The assimilation of diverse cultures and peoples is what this country is all about.

The changing of family names, street names, schools, and military installations is simply the casting off of colonial roots, history, and unity found in cultural assimilation.

When people like Ben Carson, Clarence Thomas, Susan Rice, Sean Combs, or George Foreman adopt Igbo names, call me. I will relook the issue.

Until then, the adoption of tribal names will represent a tool of separation and division, not unity.

Yes, it's completely racist. They are characterizing an entire race/nation based their extremely limited experience consisting of internet articles. 216 million people live in Nigeria. comment 2 which is literally dehumanizing Africans.

Neanderthals are literally humans. Scientifically so — Homo neanderthalensis is sometimes referred to in the literature as Homo sapiens neanderthalensis. If you are a Homo sapiens sapiens you contain Neanderthal DNA. More if you are caucasian than if you are a sub-Saharan African, somewhere in between if you are a typical African-American or a North African.

Russia’s ROSATOM permitted to start construction on Egypt’s first nuclear power plant
Inshallah mentality makes the — to us — twin concepts of completion and starting production another beast entirely. So let us watch with interest but without expectations.
[AlAhram] The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) issued a permit to Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) for the construction of the El-Dabaa NPP Unit 1, according to an announcement by the corporation Thursday.

This permit, along with excavation works at site, is necessary for the start of the main stage of construction, ROSATOM said.

In November 2015, the Egyptian government signed an agreement with Russia to build Egypt’s first nuclear power plant in El-Dabaa region of Marsa Matrouh, which aims to generate a total of 4,800 megawatts through four reactors.

"Obtaining construction permit for the Unit 1 is a momentous occasion paving the way for the launch of full-scale construction of the first NPP in Egypt," Alexey Likhachev, ROSATOM director general stated on Thursday.

Earlier in June, ROSATOM announced that it started the manufacture in Saint Petersburg of electrical components for the plant’s reactor vessel, according to Sputnik news agency.

Earlier in 2022, CEO of ROSATOM Alexey Likhachev stated that construction of El-Dabaa is set to begin in July.

According to the project’s design, the nuclear plant will have four VVER-1,200 reactor units, with the first unit scheduled to be operational in 2026.

In November 2021, Egypt signed a long-term one million-dollar agreement with the Czech ÚJV Rež Research and Development company to consult on El-Dabaa Nuclear Plant, according to ENRRA Chairperson Sami Shaaban.

According to the contract, ÚJV Rež will provide technical assistance to the ENRRA in licensing the nuclear plant.

#6  It's 150 miles from the airfield in Crimea and the Russians couldn't hold it.

Holding and denying it to the enemy are two different things. Once 155 land artillery got into range it made holding it untenable for the Russians. While the Russian jets and ships haven't so far showed they can take out the land artillery on a very large area near Snake Island, the island is very much in their stable of skills and weapon packages.

The Ukrainians set anything on that island and it will be blasted to hell.

#8  The Odessa was a long stretch and with the loss of the island is all but a pipe dream at this point. With new Harpoon missiles an invasion is doomed to fail as the Russians just don't have the lift capacity to sustain any invasion, let alone do one at all.

Direct Translation via Google Translate Edited.
Kindly note that several entries in this article were removed because they included discussions of the grand strategic level.

[NewsFrontInfo] 23:14 The authorities of the Ukrainian city of Lviv have renamed 29 streets whose names are associated with Russia, said the mayor of the city Andriy Sadovoy.

No casualties have been reported.

17:25 Meanwhile, Kyiv announced the establishment of "direct physical control" over Serpentine. According to Alexei Gromov, deputy chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a landing operation will be carried out in the near future.

14:31 In Lviv, they decided to ban the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The corresponding decision was made by the Lviv City Council. This was announced by the deputy of the City Council from the "European Solidarity" Yuriy Lomaga, who came up with this initiative. In the decision, the UOC was accused of threatening the national security of Ukraine, and its activities allegedly do not contribute to the consolidation of Ukrainian society.

13:20 On Zmeiny Island: Khokhols won't occupy it either. This is now a gray area. The military of the Russian Federation will return to the island when the time comes for the storming of Odessa.

13:17 In Romania, 15 Ukrainian wagons carrying grain went off the rails. There were 32 wagons in total.

11:53 The Russian military left Zmeiny Island as a "goodwill step."

11:52 152mm divisional self-propelled howitzers "Msta-S" of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are in operation in zone conducting SVO.

09:13 The Ministry of Defense showed personnel work of the heavy flamethrower system "Solntsepyok". Attacks are made against fortified areas and enemy positions. Real-time UAV calculations provide control and adjustment of the system according to targets. It is impossible to hide from the Sunshine salvo even in trenches and dugouts.

08:08 The situation on Zmeiny Island as of June 29, 2022:

Judging by satellite images, as a result of several Ukrainian shelling of Russian positions on Zmeiny Island, unfortunately, one Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system was irretrievably lost, and the rest of the vehicles were forced to constantly change their positions in order not to get hit.

In addition, five raid boats of the BL-820 project (RHIB) moored to the island. The loss of just one air defense missile system under constant shelling may indicate that the island’s garrison has so far successfully repelled raids on its positions, however, it is not known how long this can continue in the face of increasing fire impact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

08:06 There was no terrorist attack in Kremenchug - Putin.

Europe
Czech Republic to extend coal mining amid high demand
A pragmatic decision that will increase resilience... and further decrease Russia’s influence going forward. Also that of the woke Climate lobby, an equally Good Thing.
[AlAhram] The Czech Republic has decided to reverse plans to halt mining in a key black coal region to help the country safeguard its power supply amid high demand and the energy crunch prompted by the Russia's war in Ukraine.

Finance Minister Zbynek Stanjura said Thursday that the state-owned OKD company will extend its mining activities in north-eastern Czech Republic until at least the end of next year, with an analysis to be made on a possible further extension until 2025.

The original plans called for mining to be halted there this year, but ``demand for black coal is enormous,'' Stanjura said.

Some other European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
countries are turning back to coal as a replacement for reduced deliveries of Russian natural gas, threatening climate goals in Europe. Russia has trimmed gas flows to EU countries like Germany, Italia and Austria on top of its gas cutoffs to La Belle France, Poland, Bulgaria and others.

OKD's chief executive, Roman Sikora, said the Czech company was planning to mine 1.3 million metric tons of black coal in 2023.

It will be mostly used for generating power and household heating. Coal-fired power plants generate almost 50% of total Czech electricity output.

The decision came after the European Union agreed to ban Russian coal starting in August over the war in Ukraine and as it works to reduce the bloc's energy ties to Russia.

The Czech government aims to phase out coal in energy production by 2033 while increasing the country's reliance on nuclear power.

#1  Per her comments on the latest Supreme Court decision on West Virginia vs the EPA she has completed swallowed the climate change BS and apparently believes the court should legislate from the bench. “Whatever else this Court may know about, it does not have a clue about how to address climate change,” Kagan wrote. “And let’s say the obvious: The stakes here are high. Yet the Court today prevents congressionally authorized agency action to curb power plants’ carbon dioxide emissions.” Wrong again. The majority said only Congress shouls make these decisions. I guess she didn't read the majority opinion.

Government Corruption
NH Gov. Sununu signs pair of bills related to vaccine mandates, vetoes ivermectin legislation
[New Hampshire Bulletin] Gov. Chris Sununu handed anti-mandate and pro-ivermectin advocates a mixed bag Friday.

He signed House Bill 1604, requiring state-run hospitals and county nursing homes to grant medical and religious exemption requests to their vaccine mandates, eliminating their ability to evaluate each request for merit.

He also signed House Bill 1495, which prohibits the state from requiring businesses to adopt vaccine mandates, something that has not been proposed.

However, Sununu vetoed House Bill 1022, dashing the hopes of those who believe ivermectin treats COVID-19 and should be made readily available.

The bill, which passed the Legislature along party lines, would have allowed pharmacists to dispense the drug under a standing order without prescription, just as they can with medication for smoking cessation; naloxone, to reverse an opioid overdose; and contraception, including emergency contraception.

In his veto message, Sununu said those medications went through rigorous reviews and vetting prior to being available by standing order. Ivermectin should be subject to the same process, he wrote.

#1  Ivermectin has been through all of that from its initial approval for other uses.

There are a large amount of ivermectin studies besides the Big Corrupt ones the state has decided are the only ones that matter.

I don't have a link handy, but I suggest checking out Brett Weinstein's Dark Horse podcast interview with Alexander Marinos to see what was wrong with the Together trial.

#5  #4 ...are getting illegal fetal stem cell infusions and infant blood transfusions.

Wait — what?!!

It's the latest 'snake oil' fad going around the super rich.

Infant blood transfusions: This is supposedly a way to extend ones lifespan, the only problem is that even if it 'worked', it's gone in three months as part of the body normal blood cell recycling. I suspect most of the "infant blood" are sold by the abortion clinics for this purpose.

Fetal stem cell infusions: This is supposedly a way to repair ones body organ damage. etc. to extend ones life span. Again, popular among the super rich. guess who sells the "infant stem cells", that's right, the abortion clinics.. This doesn't work mainly because of DNA incompatibilities.

There's suckers born every minute and a crap load of money to be made here!

Pentagon FAILS yet another hypersonic weapons test after an 'anomaly' occurred during flight that was supposed to reach speeds of Mach 5: Russia and China both have successful hypersonic programs
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Pentagon says a problem occurred following missile ignition

  • China, Russia and North Korea are all pressing ahead with hypersonic programs

  • Trial marked the second unsuccessful test flight of the prototype weapon

  • A booster failure occurred in its first flight test in October, which prevented the missile from leaving the launch pad

  • Hypersonic weapons are capable of flight at speeds five times the speed of sound, and can maneuver mid-flight, which makes tracking them difficult

#4  The Russian one is a ballistic missile on its side and the Chinese one is just a glider with minimal control once it is boosted by a ballistic missile. The US is actually trying to build a scramjet missile that can be launched from a fighter/ship and can be controlled during its flight. Much more complex and hard than what the other two nations have done.
Posted by: DarthVader || 07/01/2022 9:31 Comments || Top||

#5  The glide phase weapons and the scramjets are basically two entirely different classes of weapons. The problem we are having is part of the design requirement for the glide phase boosters is to make them distinguishable from an ICBM. If we just wanted to put a glide phase weapon on a booster, a Trident could do it easily.

And put everyone on DEFCON 1 as soon as it launched.

If it's a conventional warhead being launched, yes, DEFCON 1 is a really bad thing.

After Over 1000 Rounds, Here's What We Think of The Sig Sauer P322
[Field & Stream] Just a week prior to the beginning of our 2022 handgun test, Sig Sauer introduced their P322. With Sig Sauer’s fan base, and with the popularity of their P365 and P320 pistols, the P322 was instantly in demand. We managed to pull some strings and get one to include in our test and we’re glad we did. Though the Taurus TX22 Competition SCR edged out the P322 by just over a single point for the Editor’s pick, we felt the Sig Sauer P322 was the most fun to shoot. I liked it better than the Taurus but we were committed to sticking to our scores. Here’s a more in-depth look at the latest rimfire from Sig Sauer.

Like with any handgun, there’s some good and bad news. In the case of the P322, there’s very little bad news so let’s get it out of the way. Problem number one is that, except for some inexpensive generic holsters, Sig Sauer and Comp-Tac are the only companies currently offering holsters to fit the P322. Both are polymer, and the SIG holster retails for $29.99 and the Comp-Tac for $69.99. As popular as I expect this pistol will become, that will likely soon change.

#1  I have a P238 and a P365. I can only imagine this would be a fun little gun.

Now, make it .22 Magnum and watch them fly off the shelves.

Smith Enterprise M21A5
[Armory Life] If you have not heard of Smith Enterprise, Inc., it is one of the most respected names in the M14/M1A world. In addition to providing civilian customers with a wide range of popular products for the platform, the company has also played an important role in both developing and providing weapon systems for use by our troops.

As a little background, the Smith family has been in the weapons business all the way back to 1910. And today, its extensive knowledge and success at pushing the M14 design to its seeming limits (and beyond), Smith Enterprise was one of the few companies chosen by the U.S. Military to help breathe new life into the M14 platform.

A NOTABLE NEED: THE M21A5 SOLUTION
In the early 2000s, the U.S. Army needed a powerful rifle that could engage at distances past what the current M16 rifles and carbines could achieve. The U.S. Army had thousands of 7.62 NATO M14 rifles in the armory that were in poor shape, but were still a very viable option for use.

Smith Enterprise’s founder, Ron Smith, was one of the men brought in to get these rifles back in fighting shape and updated for use by the 2nd Infantry Division, 10th Mountain Division, 25th Infantry Division, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment and more. These rebuilt M14 rifles needed to be capable of 1 MOA accuracy, and they would be going into the hands of designated marksmen. The rifle that was delivered to these units was the now fabled M21A5 "Crazy Horse" rifle developed by Smith Enterprise.

#1  'Assault rifles' implies just that - a weapon used in close assault in cities, close terrain, heavy cluttered environment with engagements usually within 200 meters. If you are engaging targets beyond that something else is called for. One that can reach out and touch someone.

#4  But, the XM-5 and the XM-250 share the same platform (with differences of course.)

'Mystery rocket' that crashed into the Moon baffles NASA scientists
[CHRON] A mysterious rocket crashed into the moon on March 4, leaving behind a 'double crater,' NASA reported.

A mysterious rocket crashed into the moon on March 4, leaving behind a 'double crater,' NASA reported.

NASA has discovered the crash site of a "mystery rocket body" that collided with the Moon's surface earlier this year. The impact left behind a widespread "double crater," meaning it wasn't the average rocket.

However, since its crash landing, none of Earth's space-exploring nations have claimed responsibility for the mysterious projectile, leaving NASA scientists baffled as to who was behind its launch. New images shared on June 24 by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show the unusual impact site.
Failed Sino Lunar Orbital (perhaps manned) Mission?
"Surprisingly the crater is actually two craters, an eastern crater (18-meter diameter, about 19.5 yards) superimposed on a western crater (16-meter diameter, about 17.5 yards," NASA reported. "The double crater was unexpected...No other rocket body impacts on the Moon created double craters."

Astronomers anticipated the crash after spotting the unidentified rocket on a collision course with the Moon late last year. It finally hit on March 4 near the Hertzsprung crater, a "complex" impact crater on the far side of the Moon.

NASA stated that the two large masses on each end of the rocket may have caused the craters, but noted that the impact marks are highly unusual. Spent rockets, according to NASA, tend to have a heavy motor at one end and a lighter empty fuel tank on the other, scientists say. The space agency did not offer any guesses on what the additional mass was.

"Since the origin of the rocket body remains uncertain, the double nature of the crater may indicate its identity," NASA said in a news release.

Deceased Astronauts? Craft then programmed to crash beyond Earth's prying eyes? (Sats usually don't have the necessary optical resolution, nor will anyone be visiting this site anytime soon)
At least 47 NASA rocket bodies have created "spacecraft impacts" on the moon, according to 2016 data from Arizona State University. Four large moon craters attributed to Apollo 13, 14, 15 and 17 missions are substantially larger than each of the overlapping craters created by the March 4 impact, according to NASA. However, scientists said the maximum width of the new double crater is near that of the Apollo craters.

#1  Keep in mind that the Middle Kingdom doesn't like to acknowledge their mistakes.

You could argue adding the Mad Mullahs into this equation, but I really don't believe their equipment or technology would allow them a trans-lunar voyage (although their rockets often go off course a bit).

#2  So someone launched an Apollo module sized rocket (Which is going to be ICBM sized essentially) and the US space force and air force haven't said who launched it? Did they even notice it?
Posted by: Silentbrick || 07/01/2022 9:13 Comments || Top||

#3  Apollo 11 - 102 meters
Minuteman III - 18.21 meters
Satan / Sarmat - 35.5 meters

A ballistic missile is by definition a sub-orbital rocket. Several ICBM boosters have been re-purposed to provide orbital capability, the Atlas, Titan and Peacekeeper most successfully.

Much of the burn time for an intra lunar flight occurs in total vacuum. While solid rocket fuel has oxidizer incorporated in the design, it's unlikely you'd choose solid fuel for such a mission profile.

#5  Anything big enough to make orbit would probably have been seen by the old Vela birds. SBIRS certainly can see them and the upcoming WFOF launch to support the OPIR mission will be even better than that.

The more babblers that come running to the press from the Pentagone, the more I like to think a few offices are still running tight ships.

Southeast Asia
Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is officially inaugurated as the Philippine leader
[BenarNews] Ferdinand Marcos Jr. praised his dictator father as he was inaugurated Thursday as the 17th president of the Philippines, in a remarkable political comeback that has largely rehabilitated one of Asia’s most notorious political dynasties.

Wearing traditional Filipino garb and surrounded by his family, the son and namesake of the late Filipino dictator took his oath before Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo in a ceremony held at Manila’s National Museum amid a highly charged atmosphere between his supporters and critics.

Marcos Jr., known among supporters as "Bongbong," also extended the olive branch to his political foes during his speech at the event, witnessed by three former Filipino presidents and foreign dignitaries including Douglas Emhoff, the second gentleman of the United States.
