Ghani: Helmand Battle will Cost Taliban Heavy
[KhaamaPress] President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money... told Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... Governor Gen. Mohammad Yasin that the Taliban ...Arabic for students... would make the fighting in Helmand difficult.
Yasin wrote on his Facebook page that President Ghani had spoken to him a few minutes ago about the situation in Helmand and assured him that he had ordered the security agencies to take Helmand seriously.
"The war in Helmand will be very difficult for the enemies of the country," he posted.
This comes as fierce fighting broke out between Afghan cops and the Taliban in the center and districts of Helmand province on Sunday morning, which is still ongoing and both sides are claiming inflicting heavy casualties on each other.
[FreeWestMedia] Germany is shaken up every day in different ways by new "ethnically diverse individual acts". And it is no longer different in the leftwing SPD-ruled, anti-German Karlsruhe.
On Wednesday morning, a 32-year-old Gambia ... The Gambia is actually surrounded by The Senegal on all sides but its west coast. It has a population of about 1.7 million. The difference between the two is that in colonial days Senegal was ruled by La Belle France and The Gambia (so-called because there's only one of it, unlike Guinea, of which there are the Republic of Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, New Guinea, the English coin in circulation between 1663 and 1813, and Guyana, which sounds like it should be another one) was ruled by Britain... n attacked a German in the city. The murder weapon was a beer bottle, which the African not only used to strike with, but also to slit open the victim’s throat.
According to the CIA World Factbook, Gambia’s population is 96% Muslim.
The act took place in the bus stop area of Karlsruhe main station. There the Gambian hit the 22-year-old on the head several times until the bottle broke. In the further course of the attack, the victim is said to have been severely injured in the neck area.
Fortunately, the young man survived and was immediately taken to the nearest hospital. The African migrant was arrested and brought before the competent local court. The cause of the dispute was not given.
The war against native Germans has been going on in Karlsruhe for quite some time now and has been very effective. But city authorities remain more concerned about the well-being of foreign "enrichment" than about the fact that this city is no longer safe.
