ICE Agents, Sheriffs Sue Biden Over 'Unlawful' Deportation Policy
[THEEPOCHTIMES] A group of sheriffs and active Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers sued the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra)
...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. on July 1 for its "unlawful and unconstitutional" requirements regarding the arrest and deportation of illegal aliens. The plaintiffs are seeking an injunction to a Feb. 18 memorandum that they say "commands ICE officers to violate the specific terms of federal immigration law."

"The relief we are seeking is that the court order ICE and the Department of Homeland Security to simply follow the law," lead attorney Kris Kobach said in Galveston after filing the suit at the federal courthouse on July 1. "To follow the specific laws ... that require them to detain and deport certain illegal aliens."

The lawsuit (pdf) alleges that "many extremely dangerous illegal aliens who would have been detained prior to the February 18 Memorandum are now not being detained—against the wishes of the ICE officers seeking to detain them, and in violation of federal statutes requiring their detention and/or removal."

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued interim guidelines on Feb. 18 for handling the arrest, detainment, and deportation of illegal immigrants colonists.

DHS directed ICE officers to focus only on three priority groups of illegal immigrants colonists, including national security threats, such as known or suspected terrorists; those who crossed the border illegally after Nov. 1, 2020; and public safety threats who are convicted of aggravated felonies or gang members.

Afghanistan
June Deadliest Month in Afghanistan in Two Decades
[ToloNews] Afghan authorities claim that the Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANDSF) have killed over 6,000 Taliban

fighters in approximately one month, and the Taliban has said that the group has also inflicted major casualties on government forces.
"Mostly peaceful interactions"
During this period the government also evacuated 120 districts following offensives by the Taliban.

In the latest development, the Taliban has captured the center of Tagab district in the northern province of Kapisa.

Numbers gathered by TOLOnews show that 638 military personnel and civilians were also killed in Taliban attacks during this period and 1,060 others were maimed.

"The main reason for the collapse of the districts is poor leadership at the leadership level of the security and defense forces," said MP Khan Agha Rezayee.

Based on the figures, although the number of assassinations and explosions decreased during this period, the level of casualties among the security personnel and civilians continued to rise.

The majority of casualties were reported in Baghlan, Faryab, Badakhshan, Ghazni, Takhar, Balkh, Ghor, Herat

provinces.

"The lines (personnel) of the war changed, people were serving in the provinces as security commanders who weren’t familiar with the war because the government had sent the war commanders home," said MP Ibdallullah Mohammadi.

"There was no preparation to confront such a big war, we weren’t prepared for guerrilla warfare," said MP Arif Rahmani.

"258 Taliban fighters were killed and 100 more were maimed in the operations conducted by the security and defense forces in the past 24 hours," said Fawad Aman, deputy front man for the Ministry of Defense.

Pakistain Prime Minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
in reference to a possible worsening of the situation in Afghanistan said that Pakistain will face a difficult time in view of the potential impact of Afghanistan at war. He said that Pakistain has no influence on the Taliban.

During a speech in Pakistain's national assembly, he also criticized past policies that led to Pakistain's joining the US intervention in Afghanistan.

"When we gave so many services, did they (US) praise us or acknowledge our sacrifices? Instead, they called us a hypocrite and blamed us. Instead of appreciating us, Pakistain was bad-mouthed," he said quoted by Dawn news.

He mentioned that had never felt more "insulted" than when Pakistain decided to join the United States's war on terror.

"We decided to become a front line state for the American war on terror. I questioned repeatedly, what did we have to do with the war?" he asked.

Khan said he wanted the nation to remember that period forever and the "idiocy" of the policies at the time.

"Does any country get involved in another's (war) and lose 70,000 lives?" he asked. "What they (US) said, we kept doing. (Former president Pervez) Musharraf said in his book that he took money and sent people to Guantanamo."

#1  Unfortunately the US has provided Pakistan with several $ Billions over the past few decades.

After 9-11, Pakistan made a case that they were helping a lot and could help more if we gave more and we believed them. Once Musharraf left the corruption, always a problem, got much worse.

Ex-Pakistani diplomat: Biden 'delusional' to think Taliban has broken ties with al Qaeda

have broken or will break from what is left of the al Qaeda terrorist network in Afghanistan, says a former top Pak diplomat in Washington.

Husain Haqqani, who served as Islamabad’s ambassador to the U.S. a decade ago and is now a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, said the "military situation in Afghanistan is comparable to what happened in Iraq in 2011."

His assessment in a message to The Washington Times dovetails with those of a growing number of regional experts who warn that the vacuum left by the U.S. and NATO

#2  As I said a few days back, this is all part of the ISI's long game to keep America's guns trained on the taliban in Afghanistan, while sheltering it themselves in Pakistain. It makes the taliban grateful guests and forever open to ISI 'suggestions'.

Yes, taliban and AQ are close, but all sunni organizations are interconnected. You cannot aid an islamic republic and not inadvertently aid islamic terrorism anyway.

It's in Pakistain's best interest to keep American forces in Afghanistan, and aid running every which way out if your treasury. Whether it does this by swinging that heroin carrot before your State Dept fobbits, or by shouting 'wolf!' every few days for the ⭔, all Pakistain wants is America's unending engagement in this dungheap.

Africa Horn
US contemplates sending Special Forces to Somalia
[Garowe] The United States could be sending a contingent of Special Forces to Somalia, it has emerged, over eight months after the Department of Defense repositioned over 700 soldiers from the Horn of Africa nation which has been struggling with instability.

Former President Donald Trump
...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election...
repositioned most of the US troops to Kenya and Djibouti as part of his long-term plan of "cost-cutting" but he failed to clinch his seat, losing to Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect hacked up by the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
, a Democrat. The US has been integral in pushing for Somalia's stability.

With reports on the planned deployment of the US troops to Somalia, US Africa Command boss Gen. Stephen Townsend did not directly confirm the reports but pledged to continue helping the Horn on Africa nation in fighting violent mostly peaceful extremism.

"There's really no denying our fairly sudden repositioning out of Somalia earlier this year has introduced new layers of risk and complexity to our mission there," Townsend said perhaps in the strongest hint that the soldiers will come back. "What we're trying to manage that risk and complexity."
...as opposed to figuring out how to win the war, then winning it?
The New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

reported that Biden has suggested to the Department of Defense to redeploy American troops to Somalia to help in the al-Shabaab
...... an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia attempting to metastasize into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and similar places, all ofwhich have enough problems without them...
war, but the request is yet to be approved. The American troops were responsible for training and equipping of Danab Special Forces.

Already, the US has deployed Special Forces to northeastern Kenya where they will work closely with the Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] in degrading the al-Shabaab threat. The troops started reporting as early as last week according to military sources in Kenya.

According to Townsend, al-Shabaab is "the world's largest, best-financed, most kinetically active arm of al-Qaeda". "We see threats there to African stability. We see threats in Somalia to regional stability. We even see potential threats there to the US homeland."

Al-Shabaab controls large swathes of rural central and southern Somalia but its capability has been significantly reduced due to military operations in the country. The group targets people believed or accused of being US spies in the country.

"We've given our recommendations to our civilian leaders. And we're waiting on them to make their judgments on those recommendations," Townsend said. "al-Shabaab still enjoys a lot of freedom of action on the territory. You can really feel the atmosphere of the insecurity there."

The federal government of Somalia has been asking for help from the US in the al-Shabaab war, which has taken almost a decade. The holy warriors collect taxes from locals and they are hell-bent to dethrone the fragile UN-backed Somalia administration.

Africa Subsaharan
Nigeria: We're Problems of Nigeria, Not Religion, Ethnicity - Buhari

[All Africa] President Muhammadu Buhari has said that neither ethnicity nor religion is to blame for the myriad of problems facing the country, "but we ourselves," for inherent injustices.President Buhari in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina came to this conclusion after reflecting on the complexities of the Nigerian condition.

According to the statement, the President spoke while receiving members of the Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group, who visited State House, Abuja, to present a compendium of five years achievements of the administration.

President Buhari went into the trajectory of his struggles to get justice at the courts, after disputed results of presidential elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011, submitting that people who ruled against him were of his own ethnic stock and religious persuasion, while those who stood up for him were of other faith and ethnicity.

He said, "Our problem is not ethnicity or religion, it is ourselves.

"After my third appearance in the Supreme Court
, I came out to speak to those who were present then. I told them that from 2003, I'd spent 30 months in court.

"The President of the Court of Appeal, the first port of call for representation by presidential candidates then, was my classmate in secondary school in Katsina. We spent six years in the same class, Justice Umaru Abdullahi.

"My legal head was Chief Mike Ahamba, a Roman Catholic and an Ibo man. When the President of the court decided that we should present our case, my first witness was in the box.

"Ahamba insisted that a letter should be sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to present the register of constituencies in some of the States, to prove that what they announced was falsehood. It was documented.

"When they gave judgment, another Ibo man, the late Justice Nsofor, asked for the reaction from INEC to the letter sent to them. They just dismissed it. He then decided to write a minority judgment. That was after 27 months in court.

"We went to the Supreme Court. Who was Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN)? A Hausa-Fulani
... a peculiarly brutal tribe of Moslem herdsmen infesting Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and probably other places that are light on law and order and heavy on tribal identity...
like me, from Zaria. The members of the panel went in for about 30 minutes, came back to say they were proceeding on break. They went for 3 months. When they came back, it didn't take them 15 minutes, they dismissed us.

"In 2007, who was the CJN? Kutigi. Again, a Moslem from the North. After 8 months or so, he dismissed the case.

"Again in 2011, because I was so persistent, Musdafa, a Fulani man like me, from Jigawa, neighbor to my state, was CJN. He dismissed my case.

"I've taken you round this to prove that our problem is not ethnicity or religion. It is ourselves.

Europe
Islamists in Germany: Quiet, but dangerous
[DW] A stabbing spree in the German city of Wurzburg has renewed focus on the threat of Islamism, even if the attacker's motive remains unclear.

THE LONE WOLF THREAT
Authorities tied 409 crimes to "religious ideology" in 2020. That marked a 13% increase over the year before. More than 90% of those crimes were linked to Islamists; however, many were non-violent mostly peaceful. The 33 crimes that resulted in death marked a 20% drop over 2019 figures.

The report noted that sophisticated attacks plotted from abroad were "conceivable at any point," but none have actually taken place. Lone-wolf attacks, regardless of motive, are instead the bigger threat and are "meaningful for the goals of terrorist groups."

Single attackers may have no formal ties to any groups or movements, the intelligence report suggested, but may be inspired by them to attack "soft" targets. That was "probably" the case in Dresden last year when two tourists were stabbed in a homophobic attack. One of them died.

Another one-off attack took place in Berlin in 2020. This time it was a car that rammed motorcyclists, leaving six people injured. The suspect's "psychological impairment" may have made an Islamist motivation more appealing, the report said.

Similar attacks in Germany's neighboring countries, such as La Belle France and Austria, have authorities worried about copycat crimes here.

THE ONGOING ISLAMIST THREAT
Nearly 700 people are classified as potential perpetrators and are under surveillance in Germany, according to a government statement from earlier this year. Most of them are suspected of having the potential to carry out crimes due to their religious fervor, largely Islamist in nature.

In 2020 the government said it is aware of 240 Islamists who are on the lam and could potentially pose a threat.

Some 135 of these people were reported to have German citizenship, while a third of them have other nationalities — 41 Syrians, 17 Russians, seven Iraqis, seven Turks and people from around 20 other countries. The nationality of seven Islamists was termed "unclear," while three had been registered stateless.

German domestic intelligence authorities have also expressed concern about radicalization abroad that comes back home. About 1,100 Islamists are reported to have gone to Iraq and Syria since 2012. One-third of them have returned to Germany, including some who have then been sentenced to prison for various crimes.

Both their incarceration and release pose a "particular challenge" to Germany's security and justice apparatus, the report said.

Prosecutors allege terrorist intent in vandalism of Amsterdam kosher restaurant
[IsraelTimes] A man who allegedly vandalized a kosher restaurant in Amsterdam last year, smashing a window and ramming an Israeli flag through the hole, acted with terrorist intent, prosecutors alleged Wednesday.

The prosecutors asked a court in Amsterdam to order the man to undergo psychiatric treatment at a secure facility and impose a sentence of 418 days’ imprisonment — the length of time he has been placed in durance vile
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
since his arrest.

The 32-year-old suspect is accused of the vandalism at the HaCarmel restaurant in May last year, the sixth attack targeting the restaurant in recent years.

Prosecutors explained in a statement why they called it a terror attack.

"On the one hand, we are talking of ’only’ a broken window and burned flag. On the other hand, we are dealing with a case that has caused a great deal of commotion, emotions and fear. The suspect’s actions caused great fear in society."

The suspect was convicted two years ago of vandalism at the same restaurant. Prosecutors did not link that attack to terrorism, but say the circumstances are different now.

A bureau that analyzed the suspect concluded that he is "radicalized, holds bad boy ideas and acted based on that ideology," prosecutors said, adding that his actions are based on a pro-Paleostinian sentiment.

The court is scheduled to deliver its verdict on July 14.

Every country in this report is placed on one of four tiers, as mandated by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA). This placement is based not on the extent of a country's problem, but on the extent of government efforts to eliminate human trafficking.

Unless a presidential waiver is granted, states placed on this list are restricted from receiving certain types of security assistance and commercial licensing of military equipment.

Despite the Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
’s offer to get involved in Afghanistan, it is unclear if placing Turkey on this list would impact its negotiations to run Kabul's airport once the US withdraws.

Relations between Washington and Ankara have been thorny in recent years, caused in part by America’s recognition of the Armenian genocide on April 24, US support for Syrian Kurds, and Turkey’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 defense system.

Erdogan said he had a "fruitful and sincere" meeting with US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
on the sidelines of the NATO leaders summit in Brussels in June.

"We believe there is no problem that cannot be resolved in Turkey-US relations," he said in a presser after his first face-to-face meeting with Biden since his election.

Ottoman Turkish forces have carried out three military operations in Syria against Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Kurdish-held areas of Syria, and have deployed armed Syrian fighters alongside their own personnel.

#2  I thought, according to Woke, 25 year olds are children.

Unless the parent wants a eunuch, where a 6 year old is an adult.

18 year olds are not mature enough to buy a pack of smokes, but 13 is plenty mature to vote.

Texas Sheriffs Sue Biden Administration For Preventing The Arrest Or Deportation Of Criminal Illegal Aliens
[TheBlaze] Texas sheriffs and other law enforcement groups filed a lawsuit Thursday against the Biden administration for preventing the arrest or deportation of criminal illegal aliens.

Five counties, five sheriff's departments, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees with a national law enforcement organization signed onto the lawsuit filed with the federal court of the Southern District of Texas.

Former Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach is the lead attorney for the plaintiffs.

"The ICE officers involved in this case are absolutely astounded at what their superiors are asking them to do: Releasing people charged with rape of a child, releasing people charged with dealing drugs and resisting arrest," Kobach said to the Washington Examiner.

"These are really serious criminals, and ICE is being ordered by the political leadership of the Biden administration to turn them loose," he added.

The lawsuit says that a change in policy by President Joe Biden in relation to the detainment of illegal aliens means that many dangerous criminals are being released in the U.S.

In one case, ICE refused to take custody of a man who had been deported four times and was convicted of domestic violence, evading arrest, and multiple counts of driving under the influence. Local law enforcement was forced to release him.

"Congress has mandated that the executive branch must detain and remove certain illegal aliens, but the Biden Administration is ignoring the law," said Kobach.

"The administration's actions have forced ICE to stand down and have almost brought deportations to a halt," he added. "That has fueled the crisis at the border, encouraging more illegal immigration. It has also created an unbearable burden for local law enforcement in Texas."

Critics of Biden's lax immigration policies have pointed to a worsening crisis at the border as evidence of their inefficacy. On the other hand, illegal alien advocates have excoriated the Biden administration for not doing enough to end deportations.

Biden's immigration plan includes a "roadmap to citizenship" for the millions of illegal aliens already in the United States.

Europe court refuses to hear case on Yasser Arafat death
[AlAhram] Suha El Kodwa Arafat
...Suha Arafat for short, the fashionable bottle-blond, formerly Catholic Palestinian expat who ran off and married the elderly PLO Number 1 in a queer sort of patriotism, then lived to regret it...
and Zahwa El Kodwa Arafat, who are French citizens, filed their case with the Strasbourg-based European court in 2017 after French courts dismissed their claims

The European Court of Human Rights on Thursday dismissed a case brought by the widow and daughter of Yasser Arafat,
..formally Mohammed Yasser Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini (1929-2004). Born and educated in Cairo, in a French hospital. The flamboyant and brutal USSR-trained terrorist failed to destroy Israel in the service of Arab transnational socialism under the guise of Palestinian national liberation, though he was lauded internationally for his efforts. After founding Fatah sometime in the 1950s, Arafat was chairman of the PLO from 1968 until he died, probably of AIDS from unusual interactions with his personal guards, though his people claimed Israel had poisoned him. Whether the child of the wife he took near the end of his life was also his has never been tested, nor the rumour that she inherited his ill-gotten millions, and nobody seems to know what happened to his red binder...
who have claimed the iconic Paleostinian leader's death was the result of poisoning.

Arafat died at the Percy military hospital near Gay Paree aged 75 in November 2004 after developing stomach pains while at his headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Many Paleostinians accuse Israel of poisoning Arafat, a charge flatly denied by the occupation state.

But in 2012 his widow, Suha El Kodwa Arafat, said traces of the radioactive isotope polonium 210 had been found on his clothes, prompting a French lawsuit alleging his murder.

After a series of analyses and witness interviews, a court in Nanterre, west of Gay Paree, dismissed the case, a ruling upheld on appeal.

Lawyers for Arafat's widow said the investigation had been "fundamentally biased" and accused the judges of closing the probe too quickly.

Arafat's wife and daughter turned to the European court in 2017, saying they had been refused their right to a fair hearing, in particular a refusal of their request for an additional expert report on his death.

In a unanimous decision, three judges said that after reviewing the case, "at all stages of the proceedings the applicants, assisted by their lawyers, had been able to exercise their rights effectively".

"Judges did not appear to have reached arbitrary conclusions based on the facts before them and their interpretation of the evidence in the file or the applicable law had not been unreasonable," they added.
