Underwear Inspired by George Floyd - video
[MoonBattery.com] With liberals ascendant, every aspect of the world around you will be politicized, right down to your underwear. If the repellent Megan Rapinoe replacing Adriana Lima at Victoria's Secret doesn't convince recalcitrant counter-moon-bats that resistance is futile, maybe Marks and Spencer underwear inspired by George Floyd will do the job:

The chain has expanded its collection of neutral or nude-coloured underwear so it comes in five shades designed for different skin tones instead of focusing on lighter hues.

M&S the UK's biggest bra and knickers retailer said the range was partly inspired by the global conversation on racial inequality following the horrific death of Mr Floyd in Minneapolis, US, last year.

They don't make horrific deaths like they did back in the days of crucifixion, impalement, drawing and quartering, et cetera. If Floyd's demise was so nightmarish, why do his fellow lowlifes keep taking fentanyl?

M&S's political correctness goes beyond the Black Lives Matter pandering we have come to expect from virtually every corporation:

The retailer is also trying to improve its lingerie range with a collection of post-surgery bras for women who have had a mastectomy and by using representative models.

By "representative," they mean "physically unappealing." At least we no longer have to worry about adolescent boys thinking impure thoughts as they leer at ads for ladies underwear. More likely, they will become horrified into a life of abstinence.

Paul Joseph Watson weighs in on this latest "cynical marketing ploy to attract free media advertising by pandering to woke imbeciles":

Pompeo Calls for ‘Pipehitters': Time for ‘People Who Care About America Deeply' to ‘Be Engaged'
[Breitbart] Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Breitbart News he is calling for “pipehitters” to get engaged all across America in the battle for the soul of the country.
Big Pulp Fiction fan
“A pipehitter — it’s really straightforward,” Pompeo said when asked to define the term, which comes from military jargon. “A pipehitter — there’s lots of pipehitters out there. These are just people who work hard, who tell the truth, who keep their faith, who are fearless, who aren’t going to be canceled, who are going to take a little bit of time on a Tuesday night to go to a city council meeting or on a Wednesday night to go to their church’s chili cook off. These are people who care about America deeply. They’re willing to suffer some costs to defend the things we all care about. Frankly, pipehitters get stuff done. It came from a phrase — a guy who worked for me at CIA, I asked him about a young lady and said ‘how is she? Is she good for this new position.’ He said, ‘sir, she’s a pipehitter. She’s a pipehitter. She gets stuff done. She is determined. She is focused and she knows what the mission is and she’s going to stop until she’s got it completed.’”

Pompeo’s interview on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel comes after he this week launched Champion American Values (CAV) PAC, designed to help GOP candidates win elections everywhere from U.S. Senate and House races to governor’s races all the way down to local elections. Pompeo just came in fourth — behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former President Donald Trump, and Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) in that order — in the Western Conservative Summit straw poll of approval ratings among potential GOP presidential candidates in 2024.

Government Corruption
What happened when Trump tried to stop U.S. funding for the Communist Chinese Wuhan Lab
[Sharyl Attkisson via Rantingly] Listen to top scientists and editors from esteemed medical journals and you can’t help but conclude there is such a thing as a "scientific establishment." And it’s been as corrupted by politics and misinformation as many in politics and the media.

This phenomenon was never more important than during the Covid-19 pandemic when so many voices are shouting "Follow the science!" and when perfectly valid opinions and scientific findings are being censored, silenced and controversialized by Big Tech and some in the media.

All of this helps explain what happened last year when President Trump took what seemed to many to be the perfectly reasonable step of ordering a halt to U.S. taxpayer funding of the Communist Chinese research lab in Wuhan that could have been the source of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In April 2020, the Chinese had refused to provide samples, allow an inspection of the Wuhan lab, or otherwise cooperate on steps necessary to help figure out the pandemic and its origins. When Trump got word that the U.S. was sending taxpayer money to the lab and its scientists, he ordered it stopped. Funds were blocked to the nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance that was responsible for dispensing some U.S. taxpayer money to the Wuhan lab.

What happened when the funding stopped?

The scientific establishment kicked into action.

Scientists told the press— which dutifully reported it— that the funding cuts were political in nature. Uncalled for. Going to cost lives.

The backlash was so strong that most people probably don’t know this, but not long after the funding was cancelled, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reinstated the grant to EcoHealth Alliance.

At least there were some conditions this time. Under orders from Trump, the China bat coronavirus part of the grant was suspended pending the Wuhan Institute of Virology granting a request for an outside inspection.

NIH also made the project contingent upon getting responses from the Chinese to outstanding inquiries regarding the lab's practices and the Covid-19 outbreak. NIH also wanted EcoHealth Alliance to obtain a virus sample from the Wuhan lab.

EcoHealth Alliance and its leader Peter Daszak criticized the commonsense conditions saying they made their crucial research "impossible." The press covered the story in lockstep, in a one-sided on-narrative fashion. Here’s what NPR said: "The U.S. government has suddenly terminated funding for a years-long research project in China that many experts say is vital to preventing the next major coronavirus outbreak."

As for the theory that Covid-19 could have originated at the Wuhan lab, the same NPR story dismissively wrote: "As noted in an NPR story published last week, many scientists have discounted that theory as nearly impossible."

But as I’ve reported, many scientists did not discount the theory as "nearly impossible." Numerous scientists directly involved in the genetic analysis, and in related projects, had already concluded the Chinese lab was the most likely culprit, and genetic analysis by U.S. government scientists had already revealed hallmarks of man's intervention within the virus. You just didn’t hear about it much on the news or online because the discussion wasn’t allowed.

Of course, the "experts" the media were citing were often the very conflicted scientists involved in controversial research with the Chinese to begin with. This was not disclosed in most of the news reports.

Michael Flynn: 2022 won't be 'free and fair election' if 2020 issues aren't resolved
[Just The News] Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn argued Tuesday that 2020 voter fraud issues will reemerge in the upcoming midterms, saying "election integrity is not something that's gonna go away,"

"There's one thing I learned in my political persecution, the truth will come out — it will come out, and it is coming out," Flynn told the John Solomon Reports podcast. "And actually the people of this country, that's all they want. If it was just mistakes made, people will forgive — the American people will forgive mistakes."

Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI only to have President Trump pardon him after the Justice Department asked U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan to dismiss the charge.

"But if there's corruption, criminal activity, and malfeasance, to use your words, then the American people are not — they're going to be very unforgiving," continued Flynn, a member of the 2016 Trump campaign, then his first White House national security adviser. "So it's better to come out sooner than later because if it comes out later, I'm afraid that the American people will ... take actions into their own hands."

He spoke amid GOP-led audits of 2020 presidential election votes in Arizona's Maricopa County and in Georgia's Fulton County.

India-Pakistan
Mishandling rape culture
[NATION.PK] Pakistain is considered as the six most dangerous country in the world for women and the statistics of crimes such as rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, forced marriages give a clear proof of this statement. The fact that our subsequent governments, in a profound delinquency, could not make effective laws for the protection of women and never really focused on devising systematic strategies to bring them into execution, reinforced this notion in the minds of the perpetrators that no matter what they do, laws cannot bound them. This kind of behavior provides more impetus to the sex offenders to commit repeated crimes without any fear of accountability. The history is enough as a reference, that in Pakistain the widespread social evils, especially the act of rape has been trivialized to an extent that one can easily identify the lack of seriousness on the part of the government to tackle the issue. An international non-governmental organization, Human Rights Watch, had issued an extensive report on the performance of the government and the relevant strategies adopted by it while fighting off the rape culture. The report mentions some of the factors contributing to the horrendous crime including the inability of the society in properly defining the act of rape; the even-handed laws and ineptness of the criminal courts; dispassionate police officials and incompetent law enforcement agencies; absence of medicolegal officials for examination, and an undue societal pressure. The cases are found to be under reported and the conviction rate is even lower, under 3% across the country. The low level of conviction rate is clear evidence that the government is not planning to deracinate this evil by taking stringent actions in the right direction. There is some lacking that has been staying here since the eruption of this evil that could not be deciphered by the concerned authorities. The government cannot justify its lack of performance by merely stating that it has successfully issued an ordinance dealing with the rape cases and established special courts to penalize the perpetrators. It should understand that the absence of proper legislation was one out of a myriad of reasons as stated in the report.

The overhauling of the entire system in order to make Pakistain a rape free country has become the need of the hour that can only be possible by creating a sense of urgency among the stakeholders. As per the report published by Human Rights Watch, there is a general bias in the criminal justice system of the country where in the past the occurrence of rape cases had been rejected, taking the matter as something "not serious" and just a product of social and religious norms. Also, the courts have found to be overturning the rape cases on the grounds that the victim has only her "words" as an evidence and not "bodily marks" of violence. Such kind of rulings needs to be considered by the respective officials as a lesson when resolving the rape cases. One single negligence can break the hopes of so many victims that expect justice to be delivered properly.

Another matter of great concern appears to be the behavior and dealings of police officials with the women who consult them for registering the complaints of violence. Most of them see the victims as "real culprits" and regard their critical condition as something being fabricated to escape any trauma they face. Due to the prevalence of patriarchal code of "honor" in our country, police officials condemn women for dragging the "family matter" to cop shoppes and courts and advise them to solve it at home. As a result of this patriarchal norm and stigma attached to it, the police become determined to believe that women need no legal protection against this "offence" that they do not even regard as "offence" simply because the legal agencies and the society are not ready to accept it. The societal misunderstanding about the issue and the general unacceptance by the legal authorities have complicated the process of conviction, making it easy for the perpetrators to escape any legal action. The role of civil society activists in raising the awareness about this serious crime among the general public has become extremely crucial now. People need to know what really rape is, its causes and the steps needed to purge society off this crime.

A broken democratic system
[NATION.PK] The inexcusable conduct of (most of) our parliamentarians in the national assembly, earlier this week, followed by ’compulsive intervention’ from powers that be—resulting in orderly speeches thereafter—has lay bare the rotten core of legislative enterprise. It has demonstrated, beyond all reasonable doubt, that the people elected to the corridors of our political power represent the worst of our society. Their language and mannerism (in public eye!) exudes a crassness that is scarcely found even within the lowest ebbs of our culture. This includes people like Ali Nawaz Khan, who speak in a manner that would repulse any listener. Or the likes of Rohail Asghar, who think that Bulley Shah’s language and culture includes cuss words. These people do not represent who we are as a nation. And yet, term after term, our democratic ’system’ continues to elect such abominable creatures to corridors of public power. Let me rephrase that: we, the people, continue to elect such individuals to corridors of public power.

In the circumstances, it is pertinent to ask why the likes of Rohal Ashgar, Ali Nawaz, and other chips of the same block are elected as politicians. Why does our ’system’ not weed them out? Despite having a sprawling legislative framework (of Article 62, Article 63 and the Election Act, 2017), why are such individuals qualified to contest and win political office? Does the fault rest in our stars? Or, instead, does it rest with a ’system’ that is inherently broken?

In light of these developments, much has been said about the constitutional and legal construct of our (democratic) electoral ’system’. The ability of our constitutional fabric to deliver on its democratic promise has been questioned. At the core of this debate is one elemental question: is our democratic ’system’ working, or do we need to rethink the fundamentals of our constitutional democracy?
