Sudan inks peace deal with rebel faction, paves way for more
[AlAhram] Sudan's transitional authorities and a rebel faction reached a peace deal on Tuesday, part of government efforts to end the country's decadeslong civil wars.

The deal was signed between the Sudanese government and a faction of the Sudan Revolutionary Front known as the ``Center Track,'' according to a statement by Sudan's transitional authorities.

The deal could pave the way for peace agreements with more factions of the SRF, as well as other rebel groups. The agreement was struck in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, where talks began earlier this month.

Negotiating an end to the rebellions in Sudan's far-flung provinces has been a crucial goal for the transitional government. It's looking to revive the country's battered economy through slashing military spending, which takes up much of the national budget.

The transitional military-civilian Sovereign Council took power in August, just months after a pro-democracy uprising led Sudan's military to overthrow former autocratic President Omar al-Bashir
...Former President-for-Life of Sudan He came to power in 1989 when he, as a brigadier in the Sudanese army, led a group of officers in a bloodless military coup that ousted the government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi and eventually appointed himself head cheese. He fell out with his Islamic mentor, Hasan al-Turabi, tried to impose shariah on the Christian and animist south, resulting in its secessesion, and attempted to Arabize Darfur by unleashing the barbaric Janjaweed on it. Sudan's potential prosperity has been pissed away in warfare that has left as many as 400,000 people dead and 2.5 million displaced. Hee was overthrown by popular consent in 2019. Omar has been indicted for genocide by the International Criminal Court but nothing is expected to come of it...
in April.

``It's time to push for peace, and for Sudan to live in peace and stability after decades of wars and ruin,'' said Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, the deputy chief of the Sovereign Council, who led the government delegation at the talks.

The delegation returned to Khartoum later Tuesday, but is scheduled to head to Juba again later this week to resume talks with other rebel groups.

``The peace train has taken off,'' said al-Tom Hugo, deputy head of the SRF. He signed the deal on behalf of the Center Track faction, which represents areas in central Sudan.

Al-Hadi Idris, head of the SRF, called it a ``major breakthrough'' and said his faction ``supports the revolution and the transitional institutions.``

The SRF is part of the pro-democracy movement that led the uprising against al-Bashir, but didn't fully support the military-civilian power-sharing deal. That deal includes a six-month deadline for achieving peace, which runs out in February.

This current round of talks also included Sudan's largest single rebel group, the Sudan Liberation Movement-North led by Abdel-Aziz al-Hilu.

It has called for a secular state with no role of religion in lawmaking, the disbanding of all al-Bashir's militias and the revamping of the country's military.

The group has said if its demands aren't met, it would call for self-determination in areas it controls in the Blue Nile and South Kordofan provinces.

Another major rebel group, the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, rejected the transitional government and has stayed out of the talks.

Tripoli-based Libyan forces interested in bringing Turkish tanks, drones to Libya: Al-Sarraj
[ALMASDARNEWS] The leader of the Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
-based Government of National Accord, Fayez al-Sarraj, said on Monday that Tripoli is currently interested in bringing Ottoman Turkish tanks and drones to Libya.

Al-Sarraj’s remarks came during an interview with the Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera", in which he spoke about the objections of some to the agreement with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
Al-Sarraj said: "Whoever objects to the security memorandum of understanding signed with Turkey can resort to justice and international law."

"Libya and Turkey are two members of the United Nations
...boodling on the grand scale...
, and they have legitimate, independent and sovereign governments, and the signing of this memorandum is one of our rights," he continued.

"Do some people think that Libya is a weak country? We do not accept pressure or manipulation," he added.

OTTOMAN TURKISH TANKS
Al-Sarraj mentioned the military support that the Tripoli government hopes to receive, saying, "The Libyan government has no alternative but to seek military assistance from Turkey."

"We are interested in obtaining tanks and drones ‐ what did you expect, excuse me, do we not get Ottoman Turkish tanks and drones so our government stands idly by, while we see the destruction of the capital, Tripoli, in front of our eyes and see blood everywhere? You wanted us to stand idly by and see the capital of Libya occupied?"

"Anyone who criticizes us must first ask himself what he would have done if they were us, and they will see if they have a replacement or not."

"We are sure of the victory, and we will finally see who has the right to negotiate the future of Libya, and who is the aggressor who will be tried internationally.”

Boko Haram no longer operating in Nigeria, says Defence Hq
[THENATIONONLINENG.NET] Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
snuffies no longer operate on the Nigerian soil, according to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ).

Its front man Brig.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu said the snuffies had been pushed to the Tombus Islands on the fringes of Lake Chad.

"Boko Haram is not occupying any part of this country," he said in reference to a claim attributed to Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum that Boko Haram was occupying two local government areas in the state.

Gen. Nwachukwu said: "I want to make it clear that Boko Haram and Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
of West Africa (ISWAP) have been defeated and pushed into what we call the Tombus Islands.

"These are the islands between Nigeria and neighboring countries of Niger and Chad, where they have their enclave and from where they come out and carry out attacks on soft targets. Boko Haram is not holding any inch of the country."

On the activities of the joint operations coordinated by the DHQ, he said there were five of them.

They are Operation Safe Haven, Operation Hadarin Daji, Operation Thunder Strike, Operation Whirl Stroke and Operation Delta Safe.

The DHQ front man said activities by the operations had increased across the country in the last three months, resulting in what he called tremendous achievements.

Gen. Nwachukwu said Leah Sharibu had not been rescued because troops were cautious not to put her and other captives in greater danger.

Sharibu is one of the 109 schoolgirls kidnapped on February 19, 2018 by snuffies at the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi, in Yobe State.

Others were freed but Sharibu was held back by the snuffies for allegedly refusing to denounce her Christian faith and convert to Islam.

Rana Sanaullah makes bail in drug case
[DAWN] The Lahore High Court on Tuesday granted bail to senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah in a drug case filed against him by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

The court also ordered Sanaullah to submit two surety bonds of Rs1 million each.

A day earlier the high court had reserved its verdict on a post-arrest bail petition filed by Sanaullah, in the 15kg heroin recovery case, earlier this month. Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmad reserved the verdict on Monday after Sanaullah’s lawyers and prosecutors of the ANF concluded their arguments.

On October 2, the PML-N leader had filed a bail petition in the LHC. The petition was, however, withdrawn the next day, to file the same at a later stage. Earlier this month, Sanaullah once again petitioned the LHC for post-arrest bail.

A special court for Control of Narcotics Substance (CNS) had on September 20 also dismissed a bail petition by Sanaullah while releasing five co-suspects. On November 9, a CNS dismissed another bail petition of Sanaullah's.

LHC full bench formed to hear convicted Musharraf's petition against treason trial
[DAWN] The Lahore High Court on Tuesday constituted a three-member full bench to hear a petition filed by former military ruler retired Gen Pervez Perv Musharraf
...former dictator of Pakistain, who was less dictatorial and corrupt than any Pak civilian government to date...
, challenging the trial against him and formation of a special court that sentenced him to death earlier this month.

Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi will chair the bench while Justice Amir Bhatti and Justice Masood Jahangir will be a part of it. The newly constituted bench will initiate hearing of the petition on January 9, 2020.

Earlier this month Musharraf had filed an application in the LHC, urging it to halt the special court from sentencing him in absentia. In the petition, the former dictator had challenged the formation of the special court holding his trial under charges of high treason and legal flaws committed in the procedure.

On December 17, just three days after he filed the petition, Musharraf, who is currently abroad, was handed a death penalty
by the special court in Islamabad, after the three-member bench convicted him in a treason case.

One day after he was sentenced to death, LHC's Justice Naqvi had recommended a full bench to hear the petition and had referred the matter to the chief justice for a final decision.

Musharraf was booked in the treason case in 2013 for imposing a state of emergency in the country on November 3, 2007, and suspending the Constitution till the mid of December 2007.

Polio markers to be imported from India
[DAWN] The federal cabinet on Tuesday decided to give a one-time permission for import of polio
...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain...
markers from India and reduce prices of 89 medicines by 15 per cent.

The markers, which are used to mark the fingers of children after administering them polio vaccine, are approved by the World Health Organisation
...Kind of like the Center for Disease Control only run by the UN, with about the results you'd expectt...
(WHO).

It is worth mentioning that after India’s Aug 5 annexation of occupied Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
, the Pakistain government had on Aug 9 decided to suspend all kinds of trade with India. However,
alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk...
since a large number of medicines and raw material are imported from India, the country’s pharmaceutical industry started demanding that the ban be lifted on them because otherwise Pakistain could face severe crisis of medicines, especially life-saving drugs, within a few weeks. Consequently, the government had in September lifted the ban on import of medicines and raw material from India.

Donald Trump to sign executive order to dramatically reduce funding of United Nations
[INDEPENDENT.CO.UK] Donald Trump

is preparing executive orders that would dramatically reduce US funding of the United Nations

, as well as other international organizations that do not meet certain criteria.

The executive order plans to repeal certain multilateral treaties too, officials told the New York Times

, which would likely include treaties on climate change.
I don't believe any Climate Change "treaties" were ever voted on, much less approved, by the Senate. AS REQUIRED by that little constitution thingy
The first order, called "Auditing and Reducing US Funding of International Organisations", will take away funding for any United Nations agency or international body that meets criteria, including: organizations that give full membership to the Paleostinian Authority or Paleostine Liberation Organisation; support child sacrifice abortion and any group that circumvents sanctions on Iran

The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. In 1950 the industrialized North invaded agrarian South Korea. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force opposing the invasion, with the United States providing around 90% of the military personnel. Seventy years later the economic results are in and it doesn't look good for Juche...

Iraq
Iraq’s parliament passes new electoral law after months of protests
[Rudaw] Iraqi protesters are cautiously welcoming parliament’s approval of a new electoral law on Tuesday, after months of demonstrations led by youth demanding drastic reforms.

The Iraqi parliament voted to pass the electoral law following weeks of debate over the new measures that have the potential to overhaul the country’s political system. Most of the disagreements between the political parties were over articles 15 and 16.

The articles give the people the freedom to vote for individual candidates rather than political lists and parties. Individuals must now obtain a minimum of votes to be elected and votes cast for losing candidates will no longer be given to their political list.

Strip started to distribute the latest installment of small grants from Qatar on Tuesday morning to impoverished Paleostinian families, Paleostinian news sites based in the coastal enclave reported.

In the past year, the banks have distributed such Qatari grants several times to tens of thousands of needy families in the small territory.

Doha has agreed to provide the grants to poor families in Gaza as part of recent ceasefire understandings between Israel and terror groups in the Strip, including Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,.

Photos posted by the Hamas-linked Paleostinian Information Center’s Twitter account showed lines of Paleostinians at the banks, waiting to receive their payouts.

Mohammed al-Emadi, the head of the Qatari Gaza Reconstruction Committee, said in a statement on Sunday that 75,000 needy families would receive payouts in the form of a $100 bill, starting on Tuesday.

During the past several months, the Reconstruction Committee has announced varying numbers of beneficiaries of the grants. For example, in May, it said it would give 109,000 poor families in Gaza payouts; in June, it said it would grant funds to 60,000 needy families.

An official in the Reconstruction Committee, who spoke on condition of anonymity in late November, said that the number of beneficiaries has fluctuated based on "the decision of the [Qatari] ambassador," without elaborating.

The Hamas-run Communications Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that postal banks would distribute the Qatari grants to impoverished families over most of the next several days between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The ministry also posted a link on its website where Paleostinian families can check whether they were selected to receive a $100 bill.

The beginning of the distribution of the latest round of the grants comes after Emadi visited Gaza last week.

During his stay in the Strip, he told news hounds that Qatar would provide monthly grants to impoverished families through March and likely would continue to do so afterward.

Since October 2018, Qatar has also spent millions of dollars every month to pay for fuel to power Gaza’s sole power plant.

Emadi, who has frequently visited Gaza, the West Bank and Israel, maintains contacts with the the Fatah-dominated Paleostinian Authority, the coastal enclave’s Hamas rulers and Israeli officials.

Fifty-three percent of Paleostinians in Gaza live in poverty, a June 2018 United Nations

report said. Eighty percent depend on international aid, according to the UN Relief and Works Agency, the main international organization that provides health, education and other services to Paleostinian refugees and their descendants.

The recent areal images of the observation post by Russia shows that murderous Moslems enter the post, use it as a safe place. Note that the images were taken before the observation post was besieged by the Syrian Army.

Ottoman Turkish Army in close contact with terrorist groups in Idlib province turned the observation posts into safe place for murderous Moslems which is against the Astana agreement and application of the observation posts.

We have observed previously the same story for posts in Morek, south of Khan Sheikhun or Sher Mughar in north of Qalaat Madiq. One reason Syrian Army’s operation in north of Qalaat Madiq was halted was Sher Mughar observation post in south of Al Ghab Plain and murderous Moslems using it to launch surprising attack against the Syrian Army forces.

Anyhow, with Incipient of Syrian Army operation in south of Idlib and liberating the area from terrorist groups, the usage of the observation posts are over and Turkey should slowly evacuate them.

Honestly, what are Ottoman Turkish forces observing in those observation posts located in Syrian controlled lands exactly?!(Morek and Surman)

A question that Ottoman Turkish officials deny to answer arrogantly!

Turkey claims Kurdish-led forces have not left Syrian border
[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, said on Tuesday that the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and People’s Protection Units (YPG) did not leave Syria’s northern border, as they were supposed to leave under the agreements made with Russia and the United States.

"As a result of the grinding of the peace processor, a safe area has been formed that has been cleared of the terrorists. We have coordinated our activities and fulfilled agreements with the Americans and the Russians. This coordination is continuing, especially with the Russian side. Our colleagues monitor the situation day and night and know The snuffies are still west and east of this region," Akar said.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
’s Operation Peace Spring was halted on October 22nd after Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
reached an agreement in the resort-city of Sochi.

In addition to leaving the border, the Kurdish-led forces were also supposed to leave the towns of Manbij and Tal Rifa’at in the Aleppo Governorate.

However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money...
Turkey continues to target the SDF troops with sporadic attacks in this part of the Aleppo Governorate.

Federal suit against anti-Israel protests at Michigan synagogue
[Arutz 7] - A member of an Ann Arbor synagogue has filed a federal lawsuit against anti-Israel protesters and the Michigan city over weekly demonstrations that have been held since 2003.

Marvin Gerber, a member of the Beth Israel Congregation, filed an 85-page complaint last week in U.S. District Court, mlive reported.

The lawsuit, which claims the demonstrations amount to anti-Semitic hate speech, asks the court for an injunction to stop the protesters, calling the demonstrations "harassing conduct," or to place limits on them.

He also is requesting a jury trial and is seeking damages from the protesters and the city for emotional distress.
I am not a lawyer, but it seems to me that hate speech is protected by the Constitution, but harassment is not.
The groups have been named as Deir Yassin Remembered and Jewish Witnesses for Peace and Friends. Five demonstrators also were named as defendants.

The six to 12 protesters who show up between about 9:30 and 11:30 during Saturday morning services and stand on the sidewalk outside of the synagogue each week plant signs on the grass that read "Resist Jewish Power," "Jewish Power Corrupts," "No More Holocaust Movies,"
Seriously — that’s what they consider a complaint important enough to get up early on a Saturday morning?
"Boycott Israel," "Stop U.S. Aid to Israel" and "End the Palestinian holocaust," according to the report.

#1  ...Hmmm. Ann Arbor, they say. IIRC, Ann Arbor is a one-business company town, and the company is the University of Michigan, plus you have the strongly Islamic enclave of Dearborn not far from there.

Can't imagine where anti-Israel sentiment would be coming from.
