Joe Wilson, ambassador who opposed Iraq War, dead at 69
Divorced from his anti-semitic lying wife
[NY Post] Former Ambassador Joe Wilson ‐ who found himself and his then-wife Valerie Plame in the middle of a political firestorm when he contradicted President George W. Bush's rationale for the 2003 invasion of Iraq ‐ has died at the age of 69.

Plame, a former CIA operative who was outed in apparent revenge after Wilson blew the whistle on Bush, said the cause was organ failure. Wilson and Plame ended their marriage in 2017.

A veteran, 23-year diplomat, Wilson had been assigned by the CIA as a private citizen to go to Niger in 2003 and investigate reports that Iraq had been sold uranium yellowcake by the African country in the 1990s. Wilson found nothing ‐ and said as much in a New York Times op-ed headlined, "What I Didn't Find in Africa" in July 2003.

"If my information was deemed inaccurate, I understand (though I would be very interested to know why)," he wrote in the column.

"If, however, the information was ignored because it did not fit certain preconceptions about Iraq, then a legitimate argument can be made that we went to war under false pretenses."

Wilson's words contradicted Bush's contention in his January 2003 State of the Union that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

#1  Couple of CIA operatives united in their opposition against a conservative president, Bush 43, who were given great amount of press coverage to legitimize their claim that she was outed as a CIA agent as a dirty and dangerous tactic by a corrupt administration to retaliate against any whistle blowers.
It sounds very similar to the current tactics being used today by certain operatives in the FBI and in the CIA with the collusion of the media to undermine the current administration trying to create a scandal to deny the president a second term.
The left are ruthless in their tactics and their lust for power and are very corrupt.

Afghanistan
7 years in Bagram cost a Pakistani his youth -- and then, his life
[DAWN] Yusuf Hamid was only a teenager ‐ 16 years old ‐ at the time of his capture in 2007. Under detention, he suffered humiliation and [alleged] sexual abuse. The young boy underwent brutal treatment by the US officers and spent seven years in Bagram, Afghanistan.

After five months, he was sent to segregation where he was made to wear only his undergarments while cold air was blasted at him in the winter. He was made to endure sleep deprivation; if Yusuf accidentally dosed off, jail keepers would deliberately create a racket to rouse him, or they would douse him in cold water.

He also alleged that a female sergeant would enter his cell and touch his genitals. Yusuf also described her beating him, and then injecting him with a sedative that would make him lose consciousness. He suspected he was raped during these incidents.

Muslim leaders call for polygamy to be legalised in Russia
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Moslem leaders have called for polygamy to be legalised in Russia in order to ensure 'women's rights' and reduce 'sinfulness and fornication' in the state.

Ildar Alyautdinov, the mufti of Moscow, told state-owned news agency RIA Novosti that allowing men to have multiple wives would help solve a number of social problems in Russia.

He added that there would be 'much less sinfulness and fornication, which is spreading so rapidly' if polygamous relationships were no longer illegal.

Alyautdinov also claimed that women are currently 'completely unprotected' in the social sphere due to the absence of Islamic Sharia law in the country.

'Legalising polygyny would guarantee women's rights', he said. 'It's important to create a legal mechanism of protection, so that women could become full-fledged second spouses.'

'This will help solve many social problems. In addition, there would be much less sinfulness and fornication, which is spreading so rapidly'.

Alyautdinov made clear he only supported polygyny, in which a man has multiple wives, rather than polyandry, in which a woman has more than one husband.

He said this is because there are 10 million more women in Russia than men, according to the Federal State Statistics Service.

In 2018, the Russian Federal State Statistics Service revealed 146.9 million people were living in the country, Russia Beyond reported. Around 68.1 million of these were men, compared to 78.8 million women.

Alyautdinov also claimed there are many women who remain single after becoming 'widowed or divorced'.

The mufti's comments come after Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, who is the head of the Spiritual Administration of Moslems in Russia, said he considered it 'appropriate' to legalise polygamy in Islamic regions.

Informal polygamy does already exist in some Moslem areas, including Tatarstan, Chechnya, Dagestan
...a formerly inoffensive Caucasus republic currently bedevilled by low-level Islamic insurgency, occasional outbreaks of separatism, ethnic tensions and terrorism, primarily due to its proximity to Chechnya. There are several dozen ethnic groups, most of which speak either Caucasian, Turkic, or Iranian languages. Largest among these ethnic groups are the Avar, Dargin, Kumyk, Lezgin, and Laks. While Russers form less than five percent of the population, Russian remains the primary official language and the lingua franca...
He said taking multiple wives was better than men 'having 40 lovers and not taking any responsibility' of them and any illegitimate children.

Responding to the comments, the Russian Orthodox Church said 'monogamy is associated with respect for the roles of man and woman and the recognition of their equal dignity in marriage'.

A front man added that the church believes relationships outside of marriage 'jeopardise the dignity of man and woman, destroy families and devoid both spouses of happiness', the BBC reported.

Europe
70 Per Cent of Austrians Say Islam Not Compatible with the West
[BREITBART] A new study from the University of Salzburg has shown 70 per cent of Austrians feel Islam is simply not compatible with the Western world.

The study, which involved 1,200 participants, found that Austrians were very concerned about the effect of Islam in their country, with 72 per cent going as far as to say Moslems were not a cultural asset for Austria, Kronen Zeitung reports.

Half of those who took part in the study said that they would be fine with restricting Moslems’ ability to practise their faith and nearly as many said that mosques should not be tolerated in Austria at all. A third say they oppose Moslems outright.

Another 59 per cent said that there were fearful of Moslems in Austria being Lions of Islam and 79 per cent agreed that Moslem communities in the country should be closely watched by authorities.

In August, the Austrian Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BVT), the country’s domestic intelligence agency, said that radical Islamic terrorism is still the number one threat facing the country.

Iraq
If US escalates tensions, Iran will target US troops in Iraq: ambassador
[Rudaw] Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
will not hesitate to target American bases in Iraq if the United States attacks the Islamic Theocratic Republic, Tehran’s ambassador to Baghdad said this week in a clear warning from a top Iranian diplomat and former senior member of the Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force.
banging his spoon on his highchair
Speaking to Iraq’s Dijlah satellite TV channel, Ambassador Iraj Masjedi said that if the United States chooses to escalate already heightened tensions between their nations, then American forces will not be safe in Iraq.

"If they [the US forces] don't cause any problem for the Islamic Theocratic Republic, Iran won't respond to this presence [of US forces in Iraq]," Masjedi said in an interview aired on Thursday. "If the Americans want to cause any problem for the Islamic Theocratic Republic, they have to expect a response and reaction," Masjedi added.

There are about 5,000 US troops currently based in Iraq.

"A demand of Iran is for American forces to get out of the region because they don't do any positive or constructive work. This is not strictly about Iraq. It is about wherever they exist," said Masjedi.

Baghdad has repeatedly sought to prevent Iraq becoming a battleground between its allies and neighbours, a stance President Barham Salih stressed when he addressed the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
General Assembly: "Terrorism is looking for a gap to rise again, therefore conflict and tensions in the region will create this vacuum that terrorism can take advantage of, so let’s make peace not war."

Iraq could, however, be dragged into conflict by pro-Iranian factions within its Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), known in Arabic as the Hashd al-Shaabi paramilitaries. Tensions have already spilled into Iraq, albeit on a small scale. Twice, in a little over four months, rockets and mortars have been fired near the US embassy in Baghdad.

The attacks have largely been attributed to Iranian-backed units within the PMF, many of which have called for US troops to leave Iraq. Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi has ordered gangs to cease their attacks.

The Iranian ambassador rejected the categorization that some PMF units may be acting on directions from Tehran. "If the Islamic Theocratic Republic responds [to an attack], they respond too. They can't accept Iran being threatened, but eventually this is their decision... no one can force them to do anything," Masjedi said, adding that they cannot prevent PMF units from targeting other countries in defence of Iran.

Ambassador Masjedi also gave lip service to Iraq’s independence, telling Dijlah TV Tehran does not intervene in Iraq’s domestic affairs. "Iran doesn't make the decision for these countries, but it asks them and suggests to them [to force US troops out]," he said.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Egyptian delegation said to make secret visit to Israel fearing Gaza flareup
[IsraelTimes] Concerned by political instability resulting from last week’s election, intelligence officials from Cairo meet with Israeli top brass and discuss security situation.

Fearing a fresh flareup between Israel and Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip amid the political deadlock in Jerusalem, an Egyptian intelligence delegation paid a secret visit to Israel, Channel 13 reported on Friday.

The envoys from Cairo met with bigwigs from the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday for the first time since the September 17 elections in Israel, which resulted in no clear winner. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday was given the first stab at forming a coalition, but the bloc of his traditional partners is not large enough to form a government.

Egyptian officials are concerned that the situation in Gaza will once again spiral into violence, and with only a caretaker prime minister governing in Jerusalem, Israel will have a harder time preventing the situation from escalating to a full-blown war.

There was no mention of the delegation also visiting Gaza. Egypt has brokered a number of truces between Israel and Hamas in recent times.

On September 10, two rockets were launched from Gaza, at Ashkelon and another at Ashdod during a campaign rally by the prime minister, who was whisked off the stage by his bodyguards to take shelter.

Haaretz reported that Netanyahu planned a large offensive in Gaza after the incident but scotched the plan after the attorney general advised him he would need to get cabinet approval.

Hours after the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu convened the heads of the security establishment, including IDF chief of staff Aviv Kohavi, Shin Bet head Nadav Argaman and Mossad chief Yossi Cohen.

According to Haaretz, Netanyahu, who is also the defense minister, sought an "extraordinary" and "far-reaching" military reaction to the rockets ‐ the nature of which was not disclosed ‐ but several security officials were hesitant to take such action.

On the day after elections last week, three mortar shells were fired toward Israel. The projectiles all fell short of the border, two of them hitting a home in the southern city of Rafah and lightly wounding seven people, according to the enclave’s Hamas-run health ministry. The third fell near the fence separating Israel and the Gaza Strip.

Passenger says Israel deporting migrants to Egypt on commercial flights

Israel is flying West African nationals to Egypt, from where they are being sent to remote areas, an Israeli passenger who claims to have witnessed such an incident told Zman Yisrael, the Hebrew sister site of The Times of Israel.

"On Wednesday, July 17, I was on a regular flight from Israel to Egypt," said the man, who asked not to be identified. "One of the other passengers was an illegal migrant, an African civilian, who was bound hands and feet and was under guard."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Syria and Iran to increase oil cooperation despite US-led blockade
[ALMASDARNEWS] Iranian and Syrian officials in a meeting in Tehran this week conferred on ways to further increase cooperation between the two countries in oil projects through the use of capacities in the private sector.

Syria’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Soleiman Ghanem visited Iran’s chamber of commerce on Wednesday, voicing the interest of his country’s private sector in joint economic activities with their Iranian partners.

Head of the Iran-Syria Joint Committee Keivan Kashefi and a number of Iranian economic activists hosted the meeting with Ghanem in Tehran.

Kashefi, for his part, said that the level of the economic ties between the two countries had not grown tantamount to their political ties.

"The private sector can play a key role in this regard by tapping the potentialities of the two countries," he said.

Kashefi said the presence of the Syrian official in Tehran could be considered as a starting point for oil and energy cooperation between Tehran and Damascus, saying Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. and Syria had not had so much to do in this field together.

During the meeting, Ghanem said that his country had intended to exploit the Iranian experiences and capabilities in order to reconstruct their country.

In relevant remarks on Monday, Ghanem said his country was determined to enhance mutual cooperation with Iran in diverse areas of oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

To boost cooperation with Iranian partners, Ghanem paid a visit to South Pars gas field facilities in Asaluyeh, Southern Iranian province of Bushehr, on Monday.

Leading a delegation comprised of Syrian oil and gas officials, Ghanem was briefed by Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Mohammad Meshkinfam about the gas field and the investments made on it.

The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. deliveries of air defence assets and radio-electronic equipment to the country, as well as the creation of an integrated system of Persian Gulf security, Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation Director Dmitry Shugayev said.

Shugayev stressed that Russia acts strictly in compliance with international regulations, stating that defence cooperation on offensive arms with Tehran cannot be started before October 2020.

"Before the UN Security Council’s sanctions expire, we can discuss cooperation on the following issues: air defence assets deliveries, creation of an integrated surveillance, security and defence system for the Persian Gulf coast, deliveries of radio-electronic equipment, modernisation of air defence equipment that has been previously delivered to Iran, deliveries of small weapons and munition", he added.

Although the current Russian-Iranian defence cooperation agreement has been in place since 2001, cooperation with Tehran is restricted by the UN Security Council’s Resolution 2231 and a Russian presidential decree, issued on 11 March 2016.

Bloomberg reported earlier this year Moscow had refused to sell Tehran its S-400 air defence systems due to the sanctions issue. According to the agency, Russia considered this decision to be too risky, as it could escalate tensions in the region. The Iranian Foreign Ministry, however, refuted the report, saying the country had no plans to purchase the air defence systems.

Shugayev, in turn, noted that Russia is ready to deliver S-400 air defence systems to Iran, but the Islamic Theocratic Republic hadn’t requested them yet.

Syria says Pompeo’s chemical weapons allegation is a ‘big lie’
[ALMASDARNEWS] Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem refuted the allegations made by U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo about carrying out a chemical attack in the Latakia province in May.

Speaking to Sputnik on Friday, al-Moallem described Pompeo’s statements, in which he accused the Syrian Arab Army of carrying out a chemical attack, as a "big lie."

On May 25th, an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said the fabricated and baseless news about the Syrian Arab Army using chemical weapons in the town of Kabani in Latakia countryside are merely the prelude for Western lies and hypocrisy that preempts leveling threats against the Syrian state.

The chemical weapons attack was first reported by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else

[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
has plans for a massive construction project to build new communities in northern Syria as part of its intent to resettle at least a million refugees across the border, according to Ottoman Turkish presidential sources.

Unnamed sources told Ottoman Turkish media Haberturk on Friday that 140 villages, each to house 5,000 Syrian refugees, and 10 districts, each accommodating 30,000 Syrian refugees, will be built in the so-called safe zone Turkey wants to see established some 30-40 kilometres deep into Syrian territory.
