Critical Witchcraft Theory
[AMGREATNESS] Contemporary Americans tend to scoff at the credulousness of those Puritans in Salem who leveled deadly accusations based on the phantoms of their own imaginations. But here we are, in the age of Critical Race Theory

...teaches that skin color is the most important characteristic of any person, which translates to separate but equal with a different bunch in charge. All whites and Asians are born racist and racism permeates every aspect of society, which should be dismantled and the remains turned over to the kind of dipshit who pushes this nonsense...
, still doing it.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
How Intelligent Is Our Intelligence Community, Really?
[American Thinker] The Conservative Treehouse began a series on "The Fourth Branch of Government, the Intelligence Community." That series, along with Tucker Carlson's revelation that the NSA possibly spied on him and at the very least illegally unmasked him, has brought the Intelligence Community center stage. I usually do not think too much about the various security and intelligence functions of the government, other than to marvel that they have managed to prevent a second 9/11. In doing a bit of research, however, I have come to realize that the security function of our country is a tangled web of bureaucracy. Is that really what it takes to protect U.S. citizens, or is this a turf-building and protection operation?

The foundation of any security operation has to be the knowledge that is gathered and analyzed. In the case of the federal government, that foundation is provided by the Intelligence Community, or I.C., which is "responsible for collecting, analyzing, and delivering foreign intelligence and counterintelligence information to America's leaders so they can make sound decisions to protect our country." The I.C. is a coalition of 18 entities with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) integrating the intelligence gathered; however, the members do not report to the ODNI. The ODNI is a relatively new entity, created in 2005 at the recommendation of the 9/11 commission. The commission reported that prior to the 2001 disaster, there were clues about an impending attack, but no one person had a full picture because information was siloed. In typical bureaucratic fashion, the response was to create another level of infrastructure and expand government operations.

Below is a list of the 17 other members of the I.C. and their primary mission. Mission statements portrayed on the I.C. website have been paraphrased for a clearer understanding.

#5  One of the big problems of the Intelligence Community is that you have to shade your output to what the POTUS is willing to hear. It does no good to give him accurate info if he is going to ignore you. This has been a problem since at least LBJ.

The other problem is the CIA lawyers. Many CIA procedures are twisted beyond recognition in order to bring them into compliance with legal.

#6  So I get it, we love to complain. But lets put it in perspective, yesterday the was a near 200 rant event here on the burg. All arguing over the COVID shot. What's true? What's a lie? What's just a belief? etc... Then it gets angry, then it gets to attacking credibility. That whole event is a mirror of our intel community, NOBODY on that thread yesterday knows the truth, period. And in the intel community the truth is again, not known. Getting it right, just like the COVID discussion, is almost impossible and subject to more hard work and getting lucky, than factual. Every one, and every agency has their charter and and they make decision based on their views, just like in yesterdays thread.

After 911 they tried to reorganize to better facilitate sharing. But that did not work. Some of it was an unwillingness to share over operational, or personal, concerns. But what I saw was a group of agencies running at full speed and unable to take any more info. Like sharing gas for your car, but the tank is already full, most of the shared fuel goes to waste and not used. The intel shared did not have the appropriate screening for relevance due to too much info being processed. managing the load of info is overwhelming, then pass that on to another agency as an FYI, it gets lost.

Bless you for the insight that turned the thing I found so distressing into a very useful demonstration, 49 Pan. What ought we to do about them all, then? They can’t be left running amok as they have been — the damage they’re causing by meddling in the nation’s politics is too great.

We can't do anything. It's chaos. The fact that they have file cabinets, databases, satellites and shoulder holsters doesn't change the fact that they are taking guesses like everyone else. But their guesses are polluted by the myths they live. The best anyone outside the game can do is try to stand out of the way, or ride the chaotic surf.

#17  TW, I so agree. I'm not sure what the right answer is. Maybe cut their size and abilities down, by a large margin. They missed 911, all of them did, and it took ten years to find and get UBL. In some areas they are doing incredible things. It seems the leadership has been corrupted into politics completely. They seem to have aligned with the two parties and when an outsider comes in, Trump, they did nothing to defend him or even find the truth. They further went at it, for politics with the SC pick and investigation. It was a political hack job. Maybe move their headquarters to death valley and limit their travel to DC. Honestly I dont know how to fix corruption especially when the people that are supposed to be protecting us from it are running it.

Democrats ‘will be forced' to remove Joe Biden from office due to his ‘mental decline' (video)
Registering as a democrat is in itself, sufficient evidence of "mental decline."
[Whatfinger] Former White House physician and current Republican member of Congress Ronny Jackson has told Fox News he believes Joe Biden will have to resign before his term is up due to an "alarming" decline in the president’s cognitive abilities.

Dr Jackson was the White House physician for former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama. He claimed President Biden would not perform well on a cognitive test, arguing his health is on the decline.

"I’ve been saying this from the very beginning. I’ve been saying that something’s going on here. I was saying this when he was candidate Joe Biden, and I’ve been saying that it’s only going to get worse, and guess what. We’re watching that happen right before our eyes right now," Congressman Jackson said. "There’s something seriously going on with this man right now, and, you know, I think that he’s either going to resign, they’re going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues."

The White House has confirmed President Biden will undergo a physical exam "later this year" and the results will be made public, but denied the need for him to undergo a cognitive test.

Iraq
Sadrists complicate Iraq's political scene
[RUDAW.NET] In a televised speech on July 15, 2021, the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada Tater al-Sadr
...hereditary Iraqi holy man and leader of a political movement in Iraq. He had his hereditary rival, al-Khoei, assassinated only a few hours after the holy rival's appearance out of exile in 2003. Formerly an Iranian catspaw, lately he's gagged over some of their more outlandish antics, then went back to catspawry...
announced he was withdrawing from the election race, saying: "We inform you that I will not participate in these elections." At the same time, he dismantled the Sadrist Political Commission (SPC), which means parliament’s largest political bloc is left without a leader or decision-making body.

The SPC was directly responsible for guiding Sadrist government officials, managing daily affairs of the Sadrist parliamentary bloc, and giving directions to attend or boycott, and vote on parliamentary decisions and legislation. Sadr’s decision also led to the suspension of the electoral machine and the complete halt of Sadrist electoral activity. The absence of the Sadrist bloc in parliament means the entire legislature is paralyzed, as it is now challenged to achieve a quorum for any session or vote.

Why Is The CDC Quietly Abandoning The PCR Test For COVID?
BLUF:
[ZERO] 1. Experts compiled three datasets with officials from the states of Massachusetts, New York and Nevada that conclude:"Up to 90% of the people who tested positive did not carry a virus."

So, in summary, with regard to our current "casedemic", positive tests as they are counted today do not indicate a "case" of anything. They indicate that viral RNA was found in a nasal swab. It may be enough to make you sick, but according to the New York Times and their experts, probably won’t. And certainly not sufficient replication of the virus to make anyone else sick. But you will be sent home for ten days anyway, even if you never have a sniffle. And this is the number the media breathlessly reports... and is used to fearmonger mask mandates and lockdowns nationwide...

#10  my wife (a nurse) was telling me she believed they were overspinning which creates false-positives

Yeah, that was the PCR test. The test amplifies a small amount of DNA. How many cycles you run determines the degree of amplification. Doing too many cycles makes the test overly sensitive and you start picking up viral wreckage instead of actual virus particles. Hence, the false positives.

#14  That half of the country not in thrall to your narratives won’t submit to your supposedly superior powers of reasoning and your empathic, nurturing concern for their well-being. They are quite convinced, based on a shit-ton of evidence and lived experience, that they are being played by a degenerate regime not at all run in their interests… that lies to them reflexively and incessantly. https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/in-a-hall-of-mirrors-you-have-to-break-some-glass-to-see-clearly/

#15  “Virtually every single person that is getting sick enough to be admitted to the hospital has not been vaccinated,” he said.

Exactly what we would expect to happen following mass vaccination. The question is how sick those admitted to the hospital are, and how many are in the sickest group versus the numbers at peak.

Doctors, organizers of today's World Ivermectin Day claim it is "The Key to End the Pandemic"
[Contra Costa Herald] A day for the recognition of Ivermectin — "Covid is treatable with ivermectin and can end the pandemic"

By British Ivermectin Recommendation Development Group

An international coalition of medical professionals together with journalists, musicians, artists and others, have established World Ivermectin Day this Saturday 24 July 2021, with the aim of sharing the evidence-based message that the cheap, safe and easily-distributed medicine ivermectin can remove the fear of the covid pandemic to lives and economies. (See North America video)

According to the National Institutes of Health, Ivermectin is a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved antiparasitic drug that is used to treat several neglected tropical diseases, including onchocerciasis, helminthiases, and scabies.

Reports from in vitro studies suggest that ivermectin acts by inhibiting the host importin alpha/beta-1 nuclear transport proteins, which are part of a key intracellular transport process that viruses hijack to enhance infection by suppressing the host’s antiviral response. In addition, ivermectin docking may interfere with the attachment of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike protein to the human cell membrane.

Some studies of ivermectin have also reported potential anti-inflammatory properties, which have been postulated to be beneficial in people with COVID-19.

#3  Anecdotal evidence for the usefulness of both HCQ and Ivermectin seems compelling and the risks are low --- but actual data-based scientific studies have not shown much, if any, benefit. It would be easier to believe those studies if the scientific 'community' had not damaged its credibility so severely with 'noble lies.'

Rushworth: Update on Ivermectin for COVID-19:

What we see is a 62% reduction in the relative risk of dying among covid patients treated with ivermectin. That would mean that ivermectin prevents roughly three out of five covid deaths. The reduction is statistically significant (p-value 0,004). In other words, the weight of evidence supporting ivermectin continues to pile up. It is now far stronger than the evidence that led to widespred use of remdesivir earlier in the pandemic, and the effect is much larger and more important (remdesivir was only ever shown to marginally decrease length of hospital stay, it was never shown to have any effect on risk of dying).

Sebastian Rushworth M.D.:

I am a proponent of evidence based medicine. In other words, I think that medical diagnosis and treatment should be guided by the scientific evidence, not by expert opinion or personal anecdote, and certainly not by salespeople working for pharmaceutical companies.

We regard ivermectin as a core medication in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. For comprehensive information on ivermectin please refer to our Review of the Emerging Evidence Supporting the Use of Ivermectin in the Prophylaxis and Treatment of COVID-19 and the included references.

#9  World Ivermectin Day

Just keep scrolling, memes at bottom.

Youtube cancelled a meeting supporting ivermectin that was being watched by 3,000 people

Organised by (MAECC) Malaysian Doctors and others supporting ivermectin, it was one of the first World Ivermectin Day events….

The video was one of the first World Ivermectin Day events to go up on July 24, 2021 (you can watch it here.) However – censorship of Ivermectin is not unexpected.

YouTube says content about Ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COIVD-19 is not supported by health authorities around the world, and thus they cannot host knowledgeable discussions about Ivermectin on their platform. But YouTube has no problem hosting content recommending Tylenol for COVID-19. Go figure.
