A Taliban Commander Uses Military Helicopter to Take His Newlywed Bride Home
[KhaamaPress] A Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
commander allegedly flew his newlywed bride from Pashtun-infested Logar to Khost province
... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name...
, in eastern Afghanistan, using a military helicopter, according to local sources in Pashtun-infested Logar.

The Taliban figure was referred to as a commander of Haqqani branch of the Taliban on social media, and the source claimed that he resides in Khost and that his wife’s residence is in the Barki Barak district of Pashtun-infested Logar in east of Afghanistan.

The sources claim that this situation occurred yesterday, Saturday, July 2, in the Shah Mazar region of the Barki Barak district of Pashtun-infested Logar province.

The wife of the Taliban commander is seen being transported in a military helicopter that is landed near a house in a video that went viral on social media.

Furthermore, it is claimed that this commander gave his father-in-law 1,200,000 Afghanis as dowry in exchange for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

However,
the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits...
in response, the Taliban’s deputy spokesperson, Qari Yusuf Ahmadi, argues that the allegations are untrue calling it a "propaganda of the enemy", and that the Islamic Emirate dismisses it.

The video that was circulated on social media incited outrage among the public, who criticized the action as a misuse of public property and pointed out that it was in conflict with the Taliban supreme leader’s words made in the grand assembly.

This occurs after the Taliban have been in control for almost a year, but the group has notably failed to establish a government and gain domestic legitimacy and international recognition.

#1  ...it is claimed that this commander gave his father-in-law 1,200,000 Afghanis as dowry in exchange for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

Does that mean the 'bride' in question is an eight year old girl?

Interesting that there's no outrage over the involuntary forced marriage.

#2  Does that mean the 'bride' in question is an eight year old girl?

Since the 'bride' in question was probably dressed in the traditional full-body sack, we may never know.

Somalia president Hassan Sheikh leaves for Turkey for his second foreign trip
[Garowe] Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday left for The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

Authorities in Turkey announced that Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will be in the country from July 3rd to July 5th. This is the second trip out of the country have visited the United Arab Emirates [UAE] a fortnight ago.

According to authorities in Turkey, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will be holding bilateral ties with Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
. Turkey has been working closely with Somalia for the last decade.

"The two leaders are also expected to exchange views on regional and international developments," the statement, read, further adding that delegations from either side will attend meetings that will be held in the presidential palace.

For the last decade, Turkey has been working closely with Somalia especially on the improvement of the bilateral relationships, putting the security sector as one of the areas of interest. Ankara has been supporting the training of elite Gorgor troops and Haramacad coppers.

Throughout the tenure of Mohammed Abdullahi Farmajo, Turkey was always under pressure to tame the alleged misuse of Gorgor and Haramacad coppers. The officers were accused of targeting opponents and intimidating civil society.

The country has also been supporting the construction and rebuilding of various departments in Somalia. Most Ottoman Turkish engineers are responsible for the construction of various roads, even bearing the brunt of al-Shabaab

Al-Shabaab, which is dominant in rural central and Southern Somalia, has always been targeting foreigners who are busy helping the reconstruction of the country. Turkey also has an army training center in the country.

Tunisian constitution panel head blasts president's draft
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The head of Tunisia’s constitution committee blasted a proposed constitution published by President Kais Saied, local media reported on Sunday, reinforcing opposition fears that Saied was seeking to impose a unilateral charter.

Sadok Belaid, a former constitutional law professor was named by Saied to draft a "new constitution for a new republic," said Saied’s version was dangerous and did not resemble the first draft proposed by the constitution committee, the Assabeh newspaper said.

Belaid said the draft constitution published by the president contains chapters that could pave the way for "a disgraceful dictatorial regime."

The president has not commented on the constitution since he published the text on Thursday in Tunisia’s official gazette. The constitution, which would give Saied near-absolute powers, will be put to a referendum this month.

His proposal would dilute the roles of the parliament and judiciary, prompting accusations he is undoing democratic gains that Tunisians won in a 2011 revolution.

Saied seized most powers last year, brushing aside the 2014 democratic constitution and dismissing the elected parliament to say he would rule by decree while he remakes the political system.

A chapter of the proposed constitution includes the phrase, "In case of the imminent danger, the president can extend his term." Belaid said this would "pave the way for a disgraceful dictatorship."

Saied last year used an "imminent danger" clause in the current constitution to dismiss the government and control executive powers, establishing one-man rule.

His proposed constitution would create a Council of Regions as a second chamber of parliament but gives no details on how it would be elected or what powers it would have.

Belaid said the president’s proposal to limit membership of the Constitutional Court to judges named by the president would undermine its independence.

Israel to loosen some restrictions on Palestinian entry during next week’s Eid
[IsraelTimes] The Israeli military body that regulates Paleostinians’ movement into Israeli territory announces that some restrictions on Paleostinian travel will be loosened during the upcoming Eid al-Adha
...a major Moslem holiday, marked by animal sacrifice and ritual rioting...
holiday.

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, widely known by its acronym COGAT, says its office has approved the measures. Eid al-Adha, held this year on July 9-13, is one of the holiest days in the Moslem calendar and is traditionally accompanied by large family gatherings.

"We emphasize that the issuance of all the permits, both for residents of the Judea and Samaria area and residents of the Gazoo

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. Strip, will be subject to security evaluations," COGAT says, using the biblical name for the West Bank that is commonly used in Israel.

West Bank Paleostinians will be allowed special permission to visit family members in Israel. Some 500 Paleostinians will be allowed to fly out of Ben Gurion Airport, while another 200 will be allowed to visit the southern city of Eilat.

Tighter restrictions will remain on the Gaza Strip, which is ruled by the Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede, terror group. The coastal enclave has been blockaded by both Israel and Egypt since Hamas took over in a coup some 15 years ago.

Nonetheless, 400 Paleostinians from Gaza will receive the prized permits to visit Jerusalem during the sacred festival. Only men over the age of 55 and women over the age of 50 are eligible, COGAT says.

Israel will permit another 500 Paleostinians from Gaza to visit family inside Israel and the West Bank, according to COGAT.

Ramallah blasts US for ‘unacceptable’ conclusion on journalist’s death

[IsraelTimes] The Palestinian Authority slams the United States for not definitively blaming Israel for the death of Al Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh.

An American probe found that the bullet that killed Abu Akleh was too damaged to definitively rule who had fired it through ballistic analysis.

“We were surprised by these statements. The technical data in our possession indicates that the condition of the shell is viable for matching with the firearm [that shot it],” PA Public Prosecutor Akram al-Khatib says in a statement.

The probe also found no evidence that the shooting was intentional, as Palestinian Authority investigators led by al-Khatib had claimed.

Al-Khatib calls that conclusion “unacceptable” in light of evidence collected by the PA.

Senior Palestinian Authority official Hussein al-Sheikh also appears to criticize the US, saying that “we will not permit attempts to conceal the truth or timid comments in indicting Israel.”

Al-Sheikh vows that the PA will continue pursuing Abu Akleh’s case “before the international courts.”
