The Media Hates You And Is Shocked That You Hate It Back
It's Kurt
[Townhall] I guess we’ll be told we’re unseemly if we giggle at the cancellation of useless stooge Don Lemon’s low-rated airport lounge video muzak,
...sadly, when he announced last week his show would be cancelled, he also said he would be appearing the next night at the same time. The new show is Don Lemon Tonight, to differentiate from the pathetically rated CNN Tonight with Don Lemon...
or at how the Israelis leveled the Gaza high-rise housing the AP and Al-Jazeera. Well, color us unseemly, because when the media suffers, we celebrate.

And we’re not going to apologize for it. Half of America, at least, now cares about the media precisely as much as the media cares about us — that is, not at all. In fact, we actively wish it ill. We cheer when some trash website or paper folds. The frequent layoff announcements make us giddy. Sad journalists whining about how people on Twitter dare criticize them cause us to howl in delight.
For me the turning point was Intifada I - in my reserve service I've seen that riots don't start until foreign journalists arrive.
...the media hates us and actively sides with our enemies. It’s always amusing how these hacks do not even bother to hide their full-throated collaboration with the people who want us silenced, disenfranchised, and/or dead, yet get all huffy when we refuse to treat them as the neutral truthtellers they aren’t. The most active supporters of censorship in our culture are members of the news media itself, bar none. They cover up Democrat perfidy and invent Republican scandals. They try to police our language. They condescend to us. They dox innocent citizens. They lie all the time. They carry water for liberal leakers. They try to get our own (real) reporters, like Townhall’s Julio Rosas, killed for refusing to follow the narrative.

Eight Warning Signs You Might Be Sharing Office Space With Terrorists
[Babylon Bee] Too late for the AP
It's all too common in corporate America: you're hanging out by the water cooler and you suddenly think to yourself, "Hey, wait a minute -- is that guy over there with the AK-47 part of a violent insurgent group internationally recognized as terrorists? I think he just might be!" Yep -- accidentally sharing office space with terrorists is a real problem.

Make sure your building doesn't get leveled by a retaliatory airstrike by checking your office space for these eight signs that you might be sharing the building with terrorists:

1. You notice suicide vests hanging on the coat rack. - This could be a hint.

2. The tenants upstairs are constantly disrupting things with their loud footsteps and their rocket launches off the roof. - Upstairs tenants are the worst!

3. You hear cries of "ALLAHU AKBAR!" whenever someone empties the coffee pot and doesn't bother to make another batch. - Accompanied by firing an AK-47 into the air.

4. The office Christmas party gets awkward when the other tenants bring IEDs for the gift exchange. - This could get weird!

5. They only play CNN in the lobby. - The surest sign something is up.

6. Discussion around the water cooler centers on sports, TV shows, and cleansing the region of those who would oppose Allah. - When the other tenants start talking about pushing Israel into the sea, you should probably start wondering if your officemates aren't who you thought they were.

7. The other tenants are always reserving the conference room to film hostage videos. - Companies sharing space with one another can often result in scheduling conflicts.

8. You get notified by the IDF that you are sharing office space with terrorists and your building is leveled shortly after. - A sure sign that perhaps those guys upstairs were actually Hamas.

Welp, best get to searching for a new office to lease! Just keep an eye out for any of these warning signs so it doesn't happen to you again!

#2  This actually does happen.

A small school in Bombay leased space to some 'researchers' to make a little extra money. They had a whole wing to themselves, which they remained inside and would only emerge from long after school was over so staff and kids never saw them. At night, shouting and singing was heard by watchmen and residents and they reported to the local police.

After two months of surveillance, they were all arrested in a raid. Pallets of cash, jihad literature, correspondence with Islamabad... the jackpot.

It was a section of ISI backed in-country operators, cyber and lawfare experts attacking Indian businesses and assisting the local crime bosses in financial and legal matters from a safe shrouded location. Still in jail.

Anti-Axis Aktion: An open letter to all Jewish people - I am one of the few people on Earth who is qualified to tell you this. The Left wants you dead. And many of you are helping them.
[Wasbappin.substack] To All Jewish People

The Left is trying to kill you.

An open letter to all Jewish people -

I am one of the few people on Earth who is qualified to tell you this.

The Left wants you dead. And many of you are helping them.

First, you must understand who I am. There has been much slander and libel against me, but three of the worst are the following: that I am a "neocon," that I am a "centrist," and that I am a "liberal."

These could not be further from the truth.

I have always and unwaveringly maintained that I am exactly what "the Left" would be if it lived according to its stated principles. It does not. Always in all circumstances the Left, regardless of tendency, (they all agree on the only point that matters - that the only forces capable of breaking fascism globally be sidelined and ultimately destroyed) is a wing of fascism, a perpetual saboteur of liberation, a fifth column that cannibalizes its "allies" then orders itself to the wall in service of fascism.

This is important because you’ve only heard voices from the center or right say what I’m about to tell you. That makes it easy to write off. I am telling you now, "as a leftist," that the knocking is coming from inside the house. You must act decisively against it now.

I am a defector and I am giving you a warning about what is happening.

The Left wants you dead. Every smiling "progressive," every "legitimate critic" of Israel, every BDS sympathizer. Every single one, no matter how seemingly reasonable, wants nothing more than to see another Holocaust and to know they made it possible.

Many Jewish people are aware that they are being taken for a ride by leftists and the "reasonable criticisms" of Israel they have normalized. However, none of them are communicating the full scale and depth of this threat, likely out of a sense of propriety and the belief that the people they are speaking with ultimately mean well.

They do not.

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
Dr. Fauci is Finally Unmasked
[American Thinker] Dr. Anthony Fauci has been the leader of the federal government’s politically based responses to Covid-19 since day one of the pandemic. The director since 1984 of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, he now serves as President Biden’s leading advisor on the issue. Last year, Fauci repeatedly undercut President Trump when he was working for the 45th president. And now he’s all in for Joe Biden.

In recent years, people on the left who lie and break the law — from the streets to the suites — have rarely been held accountable. One of them, in the opinion of many, is Dr. Anthony Fauci. Fauci is more responsible than anyone else for promoting lockdowns, mask mandates, and experimental vaccines rather than inexpensive, effective treatments for Covid-19. While most conservatives have lost faith in "Dr. Doom," it has seemed like he would never be held to account for what he has done or that he would ever be compelled to relinquish his lifelong, incredibly influential, and highly remunerative bureaucratic perch.

But — keep your fingers crossed — that may be about to change. The serious unraveling of Fauci’s undeserved reputation as "an American hero" and "the most trusted voice on Covid-19" has finally begun.

In the past several weeks, a number of things happened to alter the status quo Fauci-is-god spin. For months now, outlying reporting, from reputable sources — including whistleblowers like virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan who escaped from Red China — has maintained that the origin of Covid-19 was the Wuhan Institute of Virology. According to these sources, the virus was either a bioweapon or a horrific experiment that got loose by accident from the Wuhan lab. After being dismissed as a conspiracy theory, these possibilities to explain the coronavirus have now gained significant ground and gone mainstream.

On May 2, Nicholas Wade, a 30 year veteran of the New York Times as a science writer and editor, published a lengthy article, "Origin of Covid — Following the clues," that examined and pretty much confirmed the hypothesis of the virus’s creation in the Wuhan lab. Tucker Carlson at Fox News, who has the number one show on all of cable news, building on the work of his colleague Steve Hilton who first reported on this subject last January, highlighted Wade’s article on the origins of Covid-19 on Monday May 10. Carlson added an emphasis on Fauci’s role, noting Fauci’s pushing masks and lockdowns. He wondered if this behavior was "a cover for something else. Could it be that Tony Fauci is trying to divert attention from himself and his own role in the COVID-19 pandemic?"

CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky Makes an Astonishing Admission About COVID Deaths
[Red State] If you’ve been paying attention to the Biden administration’s and the CDC’s handling of COVID the last week, you’ve probably gotten a bad case of whiplash. The same people who just weeks ago were insisting masks were still needed after vaccination are now patting themselves on the back for reversing course, making clearly false claims that the science has somehow changed in that short period. It hasn’t, but what has changed is the politics surrounding all this.

Today, CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky, in an attempt to bolster her agencies failing credibly, made the Sunday show rounds. While speaking to CNN, she made an astonishing admission.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, somewhat confusingly, says they are aware of 223 people who have died with covid after being vaccinated.

"Not all of those 223 cases who had covid actually died of covid. They may have had mild disease but died, for example, of a heart attack."

#2  See the CDC's co-morbidity table. An awful lot of people who are reported as dying from covid also had pneumonia and even heart attacks. I'm not making this up.
Posted by: Tom || 05/17/2021 11:30 Comments || Top||

#3  From the CDC's weekly reports, and a little math, if a hundred people die of COVID, 50-65 die of pneumonia without COVID. By now, pneumonia deaths may be greater than COVID.

The Evolution of Strategic Influence by LTC Susan Gough, April 2003 (U.S. Army War College Strategy Research Project)
[TheBlackVault] This paper will examine the evolution of how the U.S. Government and the Department of Defense have organized to conduct strategic influence as an instrument of national power, from the Psychological Warfare Division of World War II, through the Psychological Strategy Board and Operations Coordinating Board of the early Cold War, through the Vietnam years to today.

Are they organized effectively today to meet the asymmetric threats of the 21st Century?

Photo gallery: Life in a collective farm in Russia
Direct translation of the article

Location is on the Kalmyk steppe in Stavropol Krai in southeastern Russia.

[Regnum] In Kievka there is a collective farm-breeding plant. Lenin, who is engaged in the cultivation of grain crops, cattle and small cattle. The villagers provide themselves with food of their own production. The surplus is sold in neighboring districts.

The villagers now work in the garage, in the brigades and in the village itself. They prepare agricultural machinery and improve the territory. Many work in the fields and graze livestock.

Agricultural machinery in the village of domestic production. Parts are always in stock, harvesters and tractors are serviced by drivers and minders on their own. They are in no hurry to buy new equipment. Old "Niva" and equipment manufactured by "Rostselmash" still cope during agricultural work.

The village has its own bakery , where they bake bread and produce pasta. Collective farmers receive 45 coupons per person. The cost of one kg of bread is 20 rubles. With an extra charge, a two-kilogram loaf of bread costs 70 rubles.

A new oven was recently purchased for the bakery. They bake bread at night. Some of them go to canteens for workers who work in the fields and in sheepfolds. The rest of the bread in the morning in the stall is given out on coupons or sold.

Here, the bakery produces pasta and sells flour, because many still bake bread and flour products on their own.

The streets of the village are not crowded. All are busy either with household chores or with work on the collective farm. Some of the villagers leave to work, but over the past couple of years, the outflow has stopped. Locals say that this is also due to the fact that funds have begun to be allocated for the improvement of rural areas. A mortgage lending program for villagers has also been launched. Along with this, wages on the collective farm increased. A tractor driver earns an average of 30,000 rubles. More during harvest.

In Kievka, the impression is created that there was no collapse of the Soviet Union. People are also burning with the ideals of building a brighter future, treating any inventory with care, honoring the memory of their ancestors, not complaining about life, are benevolent and working with a song.

Oops! AP Reporter Forgets To Remove Hamas Headband Before Going Live
[Babylon Bee] GAZA—In an embarrassing blunder on camera, a Middle East reporter for the Associated Press Forgot to remove his green Hamas headband and ski mask before going live to cover Israel's latest airstrike.

"This is a shocking war crime," said AP's foreign correspondent Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Mohammed. "Israel is now blatantly attacking journalists. Behind me is the building that was our Gaza bureau of operations before the evil Jews demolished it. Death to Israel. Allahu Akbar."

The journalist quickly caught himself and realized he was still wearing his terrorist headgear before frantically ducking out of frame.

"Sorry folks, technical difficulties. As I was saying, Israel and its supporters in the United States have a lot to answer for in the deliberate targeting of the free press."

He then tried to cut the feed but pressed the wrong button and blew himself up.

Olde Tyme Religion
Israel's jihad crisis is World's jihad crisis
Sultan Knish
Israel is a not a war zone because of geopolitics, but because it shares a common crisis with Europe, America, Russia, China and numerous other countries, most of whom are trying to buy time for their own internal Islamic insurgencies by siding with the Jihadist insurgency inside Israel.

A sizable hostile minority within your borders is always an explosive element, but Islamic migration is unique in that it emerged and still emerges from a tribal and religious manifest destiny of world conquest.

Israel's Islamic minority is particularly hostile because unlike those of America, Europe, Russia, and China it came to the Jewish State as a conquering force and made up the 'Herrenvolk', the colonial master race, within living memory (religiously, if not ethnically under the Ottoman Empire). The hostility was fed by a succession of foreign powers, Britain before and after WW2, Germany in WW1 and WW2, by Russian during the Cold War, by Iran, Qatar, and Russia after the Cold War, but it's still innate.

Tribal hostility is bad enough as even a brief look at Rwanda and African genocides, or those in the Balkans ought to show, but combine that with Islamic manifest destiny and you have a perpetual war.

While the legal fiction that is the international community has kept on pressuring Israel to "resolve" the conflict with territorial concessions, providing the insurgency with dedicated territory has worsened it.

...The fragmented Muslim populations of the world are the remnants of an aspiring empire created by centuries of conquests and invasions. Islam convinces them to see themselves as part of that Ummah, a civilizational empire that is meant to encompass the world. Tribalism sharpens the edge of that religious hostility by giving it a personal edge and a familial aspiration.

Critics say that Muslim terrorism kills more Muslims than non-Muslims. That's true, but not much of a defense.

...The Islamic conquests failed to assemble any kind of global utopian empire. But then they never had a chance of doing that. They did however destroy countless peoples, eliminate many cultures, and create broken mirror images of the original Mohammedan Jihad with little emirates ruled by little Mohammeds. And they killed countless millions and ushered in a thousand years of tyranny and terror.

The fall of the Ottoman Empire revived Jewish hopes for reclaiming their homeland, but the Zionists had not counted on the endurance of that original war imperative or on the weakness of civilization.

And so the conflict continues.

It continues in Israel, in Europe, and in America, in Russia, and in China, and around the world.

#3  It pays to oppose secularism and Liberal advocated happy happy thoughts with extreme prejudice and distrust. The problem with societies never once invaded by Turks and Mongols is that they just don't have a fcuking clue what that nice bearded man next door and his polite wife are bringing with them. In such a case, it would have been wise to learn from others. But then again, classic European arrogance, which survives in all western societies, doesn't let people see beyond their lofty humanist theories of egalitarianism and 'sanctity of life'. while the average muslim is conditioned from birth to accord value to life very selectively. The enlightened secularists and constitution thumpers are no match for the modern islamist, who has evolved a system of using our own constitutions and self-righteous theories of jurisprudence against you. To slowly commandeer whatever structures of power are available, then conquer. You think the Wakandan nonsense in America is about marxists and Soros and muscle for some cheap whores in the legislature? Wait until it shows its true islamic face.

Only people like Ashin Wirathu of Myanmar, the Indian hard Right, or the CPC have the right idea on what to do with muslims; but they're vilified for it because their apprach is unapprovable by modern western jurisprudence which has seeped into all constitutions by now.

Conservative society in liberal countries cannot descend to level required to combat islam because they have been fed shite like 'the abyss gazes into you', 'you become the monster' and other overrated European inanities. While fruitless, failed philosophies are solidified in constitutions and legal parlance, citizens themselves are trained to trust in the social contract which the State just cannot honor anymore.

The church is full of charlatans, predators and 'reeds shaken with the wind'. More a cause for embarrassment and ignominy upon the name of God than soldiers and servants of His vineyard.

In such a world, naturally an overtly peaceful, supposedly 'enigmatic' shit cult and its proud adherents appear to some to be more justified. Conversions and entrapment of non-muslim youth is rampant as the younger generations are given archetypes not worth jack shit. And the psychiatrists... that I could rant on for days.

Jihad is spoken of by islamist apologists and moderates as some kind of struggle within oneself. In that case, the world's jihad is truly with itself.

Working 55 hours a week increases risk of death: UN
[France24] Working more than 55 hours a week increases the risk of death from heart disease and stroke, according to a United Nations study out Monday.

The report by the UN's World Health Organization and International Labor Organization agencies comes as the Covid-19 pandemic accelerates workplace changes that could reinforce the tendency to work longer hours.

The WHO-ILO study, published in the journal Environment International, is the first global analysis of the risks to life and health associated with working long hours.

It does not focus on the pandemic but on the preceding years. The authors synthesised data from dozens of studies involving hundreds of thousands of participants.

"Working 55 hours or more per week is a serious health hazard," said Maria Neira, director of the WHO's environment, climate change and health department.

"It's time that we all -- governments, employers, and employees -- wake up to the fact that long working hours can lead to premature death."

The study concluded that working 55 hours or more per week was associated with an estimated 35-percent increase in the risk of suffering a stroke, and a 17-percent rise in the risk of dying from ischemic heart disease, compared to working 35 to 40 hours.
