As Frank G points out — in Jordan, where they hate Israel even more because they need that peace treaty. The IDF wanted one of their own that they could properly coordinate with their own defenses — Arrows and David’s Sling and such — instead of the operators having to wait for requests for orders to go up the command chain, then come back down while the generals parse politics.

This is a typical slap from the Biden-Harris administration.

An interesting question. One possible answer is THAAD shoots down ballistic missiles in their terminal phase and not much of Rus vs Ukr involves ballistic missiles. Lots of cruise missiles of various flavors, but those are fish of a different color.

Is Israel going to end up pulverised like Ukraine, because some ambitious twat on the make at State wants to make an “impact”…. Or because Russia geopolitical influence?

Or because US election coming with uncertain result so US State dept wants to do everything quick in case Trump puts an end to their little games?

I don’t like Iran either, but also I don’t like targets being changed from the guilty party Muslim Brotherhood

We should have bombed Qatar by now and forced Egypt and Jordan to take ALL the Arab Muslims of Gaza, and be resettling that land with Israelis now.

#13 Anon1, since about 1980 Iran has been at war with the Big Satan — America — and the Little Satan — Israel. They’ve been murdering Jews around the world almost as long. Just one example is the bombing of the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires in 1994 that killed 85 and wounded over 300, directed by the IRGC and carried out by Hezbollah. Read about it here and in the Rantburg archives, though what we have records of is thehunt for the perpetrators and the connivance of Argentina’s political class in not noticing who dunnit until their faces were rubbed in it.

Iran has had sleeper agents in America for about the same length of time — we regularly have stories here when one is arrested.

Israel also regularly arrests Palestinians hired by Iran to cause trouble, and blocks internet attacks by Iranian black hats.

It’s not Victoria Nuland and that lot trying to stir up trouble, but Iran itself. The Mullahs are apparently convinced that if they start something, Allah himself will be forced to step in on their side.

*shrug* The Shiites, egged on by Iran, attack Israel. The Sunnis, egged on by Hamas/the Muslim Brotherhood, attack Israel. And the secular Arabs, originally egged on by their own culture and the Soviet Union, attack Israel. And each sometimes hooks up with one of the others for extra oomph when attacking Israel.

In other words, they are ALL guilty. And right now Iran and its proxies are the ones very actively attacking Israel. Yes, Hamas is Muslim Brotherhood — Sunni Arabs — but they are on Iran’s payroll just as much as the Shiite Arabs of Hezbollah. And also as much as the Houthis, also Shiite Arabs in Yemen.

Iran deserves to be hit so hard the rubble bounces. So will Qatar eventually, though Israel will not be doing anything directly there so long as America has their largest military base in the Middle East there — US Central Command has their forward headquarters at Al-Udeid Air Base plus over 10,000 troops, last I heard.

No migration = no sleeper cells

Let’s fix the actual problem and shut the borders of Western nations to Muslims. No muslim migration means we don’t have this issue.

The andweris not war with Iran IMHO it is shutting the borders and expanding Israeli territory over West Bank and gaza from the river to the sea with the arab muslims resettled in Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, permanently

And kill all the hamas leadership in qatar with missile strikes just like beirut, and if the Qataris do not like it, too bad there is a huge army base there

Why can’t we try that instead

We can always go to war with Iran later if they make a nasty vicious attack like Hamas did

But why cannot we just solve one problem properly first instead of starting a side issue?

#15 I suspect we are living a re-balancing of focal points of global power over a drown-out period. Weakening of traditional power bases to be turned or replaced. The Ukr war is an example of the former, simply encouraging the behaviour of the MIC ripples across Europe post migra-invasion. Oct 7 shows the latter with the potential outcome of Iran as the ME power. While we were disracted by the GWOT, someone(s) had a generation to set wheels in motion. And are we distracted now, to the machinations being planned we because we are looking at teh shiny?

America’s score with Iran should be right this minute, because Iran has been working full tilt to refine enough uranium to make a lot of nuclear bombs that they intend to use on Israel, Saudi Arabia, and America in order to establish the Shiite Moslem caliphate they’ve been working toward since they overthrew the Shah in the late 1970s. Donald Trump got that. President Obama thought it was just peachy that Iran developed nukes, because he thought of Iran as civilized Persians, just as he thought of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as “moderate Moslems”. He assumed that Moslem rule over the world was inevitable, and better that the moderate Moslems take over than Al Qaeda or ISIS… not realizing that in the end it would be no different whatsoever. President Biden’s goal was to finish what Obama had started — in all things including this — and as future president Kamala Harris does not think at all.

Many of the sleeper agents came here decades ago, legally or not, and got American citizenship. This problem long precedes Noe Biden opening wide the border.

Part of Hamas’s leadership is in Qatar. At the moment even more is in Istanbul, where President Erdogan cherishes them to his bosom.
