Gaza: Israeli military claim to have struck Hamas ‘command and control centre’
|
[ALJAZEERA] In its latest war update, the Israeli military says it struck the centre, which it claims was ''embedded'' inside a school
…oboy — check out those sarcastic quotation marks… | in central Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response ...
Almost 80 percent of schools in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed by Israeli forces and the last remaining university in the Strip was demolished by the Israeli military in January.
US officials said to believe Sinwar hardening stance in hostage talks
[IsraelTimes] Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has hardened his stance in the hostage talks in recent weeks, unnamed US officials tell The New York Times.
Rigor mortis?
Somewhat paradoxically, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said twice this week that the US hasn’t heard from Hamas in recent weeks.
Nonetheless, the US officials speaking with The Times say that Sinwar has become more fatalistic — an accusation that has been lobbed at Sinwar since October 7 — and prefers a full-blown regional war over cutting a hostage deal with Israel at this stage.

[IsraelTimes] The IDF says it struck Hamas terror operatives in a command center located in a former school in central Gaza.
The army says it took various steps to minimize harm to civilians before the strike.
Two rockets launched at Israel from Gaza in now rare occurrence
[IsraelTimes] In an attack that has now become rare, two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at southern Israel a short while ago, setting off sirens in the border communities of Kissufim and Ein Hashlosha.
The IDF says one of the rockets was intercepted by air defenses, while the second struck an open area, causing no injuries.
