Imam shot dead in Newark, NJ (Masjid Muhammad mosque)

Follow-up to this story from yesterday.
[YouTube] An imam has died after being shot outside his mosque in Newark early Wednesday morning, law enforcement sources said.

According to the NBC News report at the link, Imam Hassan Sharif had also been a TSA security officer at Liberty Newark Airport for fifteen years. The mosque was established in 1958 as Mosque #25 by the Nation of Islam.

#2 More likely a former student pissed off at being used in the usual fashion by the 'imam'. Expect this to get memory holed when the shooter isn't a white male of any stripe.
