Scuffles broke out between protesters and frustrated drivers during the sit-in, according to video footage.
The Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Highway Patrol officers showed up on the scene almost an hour after the protest began. Using zip-ties, the officers arrested the protestors and escorted them to waiting patrol cars.
