Prominent ISIS leader arrested in Iraq's Kirkuk

[NPASYRIA] Iraqi Army announced on Monday the arrest of the commander of the so called "Foreign Battalion" within the Islamic State

...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in Kirkuk province, in northern Iraq.

Iraqi News Agency reported, citing the Security Media Cell (SMC), that the wanted ISIS leader, known as Abu Bukhari, was arrested in Kirkuk in an intelligence operation conducted by Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Asayish Operations Directorate of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

The statement added that Abu Bukhariwas holding the position of the commander of the Foreign Battalion in ISIS.
