Moment crazed man who tried to open the emergency door and punched a steward during a flight to London is tackled and put in a headlock by brave passengers
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] This is the moment a crazed man who tried to open a plane's emergency door and punch a steward was tackled to the floor and put into a headlock by brave passengers - all while at 30,000 feet.

The incident unfolded on a flight travelling from Tel Aviv to Luton airport on Monday that was forced into an emergency landing in Belgrade, Serbia.

Victor Troboloni, 45, tackled the troublemaker after he attempted to force open the emergency doors and went to punch a male flight attendant, The Sun reports.

Troboloni was able to subdue the man by putting him into a headlock, in a scuffle that was captured on video by another passenger onboard.

Frightening footage shows the man screaming as Troboloni pulls him to the floor of the Wizz Air aircraft, before flight attendants secured his arms with cable ties.

'He tried to open the fire exit, he was sitting at the back and it's easy to open a fire exit, just pull the handle and that's it,' Troboloni told The Sun Online.

'I got the guy down. He was very heavyweight... I headlocked him and the stewardesses tied his hands with plastic cable ties... I had to do it'.

'I held him for 10 minutes, he got out of breath, he got tired, he was tied up for 45 minutes to 1 hour before we landed in Belgrade.'

Troboloni told The Sun that the attacker shouted 'Allahu Akbar' repeatedly throughout the incident, although this was not picked up in the video.
Sudden Jihad Syndrome.
With several other passengers helping, Troboloni is able to restrain the man until the stewardess secured his arms. Only then does the heroic passenger lets go.

Once secured, a group of passengers then appear to move the man to the side of the aisle for the rest of the flight, which made an emergency landing in Belgrade.

Troboloni told the publication that he saw the man acting unusually throughout the flight, pacing up and down the gangway to the pilot's cabin and back.

The 45-year-old, a plane engineer originally from Albania who was on his way to visit his unwell mother in St Albans, said it appeared the man was 'looking for weak points on the aircraft' and checking seat numbers.
