Russian general says he has been fired after speaking the truth about the dire situation in Ukraine and saying his soldiers had been stabbed in the back by hopeless military top brass
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]

More from Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets:
When asked about General Popov, Peskov sent two letters

The presidential press secretary did not comment on the statements of Major General Ivan Popov and recommended that the MO (Russian Defense Ministry) be contacted for comment.

"We do not believe that this is an issue on our agenda ," said Dmitry Peskov.

Too bad it's not on the Kremlin's agenda. The questions are serious. They brushed aside Prigozhin, they thought that it would resolve itself, it did not resolve itself.

The authorities are not something that does not have feedback from below, it seems that it itself purposefully blocks the flow of any information that is inconvenient to it by all means. It simply puts aside people who are trying to convey facts, albeit truthful, albeit irritating to those in the Kremlin and Frunzenskaya.

NOTHING helps to get through to the top - neither the appeals of public figures, nor the march organized by Prigogine (what could be louder?). Truthful reports, as in the version with Popov, also turn out to be not a bigot. Nothing helps. And this is very disappointing.

Only by realizing, recognizing and analyzing problems, mistakes and shortcomings can one respond to them, correct, develop and move on. You, in the Kremlin, do not need it? Are you satisfied with the old Brezhnev scenario, to which there is a rapid slide? Thank you already passed. It's not an option.

Hiding your head like ostriches, and even in the concrete floor, is not an option. Nothing like this can end well.

Stalin, as a leader, is now very lacking in the country.

P.S. I saw a poll about General Popov on one TG channel and, in order to increase the representativeness of opinions, I conducted a similar one , it was interesting to compare the results.

Both polls showed very similar results:

- three out of four respondents supported the general, i.ะต. general mood and attitude - it is quite substantive and concrete;
- people with a neutral opinion or who have not decided on an answer - only a quarter of them;
- very few respondents do not support the actions of the general, the figure is a surge of fluctuations, at the level of statistical error, only a couple of percent.

#1 Via Wagner PMC Telegram channel:

Major General Vladimir Seliverstov has been removed from the post of commander of the 106th Guards Airborne Division.

The reason is unknown, but the reason for this is said to have been his unyielding nature.

The fighters spoke well of him, primarily as a person who was not used to being silent when defending issues regarding his personnel.
