Three Former Government Soldiers Arrested in Panjshir Province After Talib Provincial Gov Sez Security Improved
[8am] Local sources in Panjshir Province have reported that the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
have detained three officers of the former government’s army in the province.

Sources, in conversation with Hasht-e Subh, state that the Taliban arrested these three individuals on Thursday morning, June 22, from the Piawesht village of Rokha district and transferred them to an unknown location.

The sources identify these soldiers as Khan Alam, Tala Mohammad, and Wasiqullah, adding that these individuals were involved in personal affairs after the Taliban took control.

According to the sources, the Taliban recently conducted inspections of the residents’ homes in Piawesht for unknown reasons.

The Taliban have not made any statements regarding this matter thus far.

This development comes as, over the past week, the Taliban have detained at least four former government soldiers who are residents of the Piawesht village in Rokha district, Panjshir Province, and relocated them to an undisclosed location, including the city of Kabul.

Overall Security Improved in Panjshir Province, Says Provincial Governor

[KhaamaPress] Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
’s governor for Panjshir province Mohammad Agha Hakim met Afghanistan’s acting Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, and stated that overall security has improved to a great extent in Panjshir province.

Taliban’s Arg (presidential palace) in a series of tweets said the provincial governor assured PM Kabir that Taliban officials are treating local residents in Panjshir province with decency.

Mr. Hakim further added that local residents of the province have asked the de facto authorities to construct the roads linking the bucolic provincial capital to districts.

During the meeting, PM Kabir stressed that development projects should be prioritized and implemented in that province in consultation with the local residents.

Nearly a week ago, Amnesia Amnesty International in its latest report highlighted that the brutal behavior of the Taliban group towards ordinary people of Panjshir is considered a "war crime".

However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
the Taliban officials have persistently denied such claims and described them as "baseless propaganda" against the ruling regime.

After the collapse of the former government, many former army personnel moved to Panjshir province and stood alongside the National Resistance® Front (NRF) to resist the Taliban.

However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
no serious security incident has occurred in that province over the past couple of months, according to Taliban provincial security officials.
