Soldier martyred, terrorist killed in Bajaur shootout
|
[GEO.TV] One Pakistain Army soldier embraced martyrdom during a fire exchange that took place between the bandidos faceless myrmidons and security forces in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Thursday.
The military's media wing, in a statement, said the fire exchange took place in the general area of Loesam in the Bajaur District.
The statement said that the troops fought bravely and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, killing one turban during the shootout.

during an intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Shafiq Ur Rehman (age 23 years, resident of DI Khan) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat," said the ISPR.
It further said that sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any bandidos faceless myrmidons found in the area.
The security forces of Pakistain are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and these sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, read the statement.
