- On the evening of April 28, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a group strike with sea-based long-range high-precision weapons at the location of the command staff of the Kherson united group of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

- In the Kupyansk direction, strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire from the "Western" group of troops hit enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Kamenka, Kislovka, Kharkov Region and Stelmahovka, Luhansk People's Republic.

- In the areas of the settlements of Artemovka, Timkovka, Sinkovka and Kotlyarovka, the actions of four Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were stopped.

Enemy losses amounted to more than 70 Ukrainian servicemen, five armored combat vehicles, an ammunition vehicle, two pickup trucks, and one 152mm D-20 howitzer.

- In the Krasno-Limansky direction, operational-tactical aviation strikes and artillery fire of the "Center" group of troops defeated enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Ostrovskoye of the Luhansk People's Republic, Terny, Torskoye, Serebryanka and Grigorovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Up to 75 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, as well as two 152mm D-20 and 122mm D-30 howitzers were destroyed.

- In the Donetsk direction, assault detachments continued active operations to destroy the enemy on the western outskirts of the city of Artemovsk. Airborne units supported the assault troops from the flanks.

- The strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems of the "Southern" group of troops prevented the enemy's attempts to counterattack from the areas of the settlements of Chasov Yar, Kalinin and Krasnoe of the Donetsk People's Republic.

- Over the past day, seven sorties were made in this area by aviation. The artillery of the "Southern" group of troops completed 58 fire missions.

The total losses of the enemy in this direction amounted to more than 575 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armored combat vehicles, twelve vehicles, two 152mm Akatsia and 122mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts, one 122mm D-30 howitzer, as well as two US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radars.

- In the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, air strikes and artillery fire from the Vostok group of troops defeated the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Ugledar, Novopol and Uspenovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.

- In the area of the settlement of Novomayorskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic, the actions of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were stopped.

During the day, the enemy’s losses amounted to more than 85 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, two armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks, as well as two 1`52mm D-20 and 122mm D-30 howitzers.

– In addition, ammunition depots of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade were destroyed in the area of the settlements of Shakhterskoye and Uspenovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.

In the Kherson direction, as a result of fire damage, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, two cars, and a 122mm D-30 howitzer were destroyed in a day.

- Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the day hit 92 enemy artillery units in firing positions, manpower and equipment in 126 regions.

A Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was destroyed by means of air defense in the area of the village of Raygorodok in the Luhansk People's Republic. During the day, four rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system were intercepted.

– In addition, 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Kotlyarovka, Tokarevka of the Kharkiv region, Kremennaya, Novodruzhesk, Oborotnovka of the Luhansk People's Republic, Kirillovka and Glorious of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 413 aircraft, 230 helicopters, 3,901 unmanned aerial vehicles, 421 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8,904 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,095 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,688 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 9,843 units of special military vehicles.

A total of 17 civilians were injured of varying severity in the Kievsky district of Donetsk and the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka.

31 residential buildings were damaged in the Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, as well as 12 civilian infrastructure facilities.

On the southern sector of the front, the Russian army hit targets in Republican, Tomarino, Yantarny and Kherson

Ukrainian formations fired at residential buildings in Nova Kakhovka, Kakhovka and Aleshki.

PMC "Wagner" with the support of artillery and aviation continues assault operations in the southern, western and northern parts of Bakhmut.
