Police remove dozens of Palestinians from Temple Mount, suspecting them of planning violence
|
 A regular activity of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, the militant arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel, preparatory to attacking the IDF and Jewish worshippers in the Wailing Wall plaza below. [IsraelTimes] Israel Police forces enter the Al Aqsa Mosque inside Jerusalem’s flashpoint Temple Mount holy site, removing dozens of Paleostinians who intended to spend the night there after the Moslem month of Ramadan began on Thursday.
Israel reportedly believes they planned to violent mostly peacefully oppose the entry of Jews into the compound in the morning.
Police sources say Jerusalem has agreed with the Jordanian Waqf authorities that no sleepovers would be held on the Temple Mount.
Nevertheless, the evacuation has sparked festivities and calls on Paleostinian social media to "defend" the mosque.
