The sources stated that unidentified button men shot Brigadier General Abdullah al-Qaisi, the former advisor to the Director of Taiz Security and an academic at Taiz University, while he was leaving his house at dawn today in al-Jamhouri neighborhood, abruptly ejecting him from the gene pool.

The reasons and motives for the liquidation, or the party responsible for it, are not yet known, according to the sources.

The liquidation comes in the context of the collapse of the security situation in the city, which is witnessing widespread liquidations, amid the escalation of conflicts between the Islah Party and the UAE-backed factions led by Tariq Saleh.
