UAE-backed mercenaries abduct tribal sheikh in Lahj province

Media sources confirmed that the button men from al-Sabiha area kidnapped the sheikh Abdo Mohammed al-Mikhlafi and Wajdi Fahd Hamoud al-Mikhlafi, an officer in the Protection Forces, and a number of their companions, on Monday in al-Baha area, while they were returning to Taiz from Aden city.
Al-Mikhlafi was assigned by one of the security leaders of Islah in Taiz, to go to Aden to resolve the dispute in the case of the killing of one of al-Sabiha’s sons in Taiz, the sources added.
Earlier, al-Sabiha tribes demanded those accused of killing one of their sons to be handed over in exchange for the release of al-Mikhlafi and his lover companions.
