- MORE FORCED EVICTIONS — Another 24 families in Panjshir were reportedly forcibly evicted from their homes for reputedly collaborating with the NRF. It is not clear where the families were moved to and/or their current disposition.
- NRF STRIKE — The NRF launched a preemptive strike against the Taliban Security Forces headquarters in the Warsaj district, Takhar province early on Sunday. The fighting was said to be fierce, and the Taliban were thought to have suffered a significant number of casualties. A source within the Resistance claimed the NRF had been surveilling the headquarters for some time and found the security to be lax enough to warrant an attack.
NEXT 24 HOURS
TAKHAR OFFENSIVE POSSIBLE — The Taliban in Takhar are reportedly responding to Sunday’s raid with a possible offensive of their own in the province. Nearly two hundred Taliban trucks were seen converging on a soccer field on the outskirts of Takhar city where a war council has been set up. The objectives of the offensive are currently unclear, but violence is expected in the coming 24 hours.

- NRF EXECUTIONS — Local eyewitnesses in Takhar claim to have seen the Taliban execute 2 NRF prisoners in the Warsaj district on Friday. The men were reputedly shot in front of their families in the village of Kata Amba, and photos of the bodies have been spread on social media.ACCUSATIONS OF US COOPERATION — Senior political figures in Kabul have again claimed that Tajikistan, Qatar, and Pakistan are facilitating US drone flights over Afghanistan. Several recent sightings and purported attacks have continued to fuel the Taliban’s claims that the US is still waging war in Afghanistan.
- BLA TAKES REFUGE — The Baloch Liberation Army claims to have killed 3 Pakistani Army soldiers and may be hiding in Afghanistan while the Pakistani Army combs the roadways looking for them.
CONFLICT TRACKER
Takhar: 2 Uzbek Talibs were murdered under mysterious circumstances in Faryab. They arrived three days ago to aid in the house-to-house searches, but were assassinated Saturday by unidentified gunmen.
Kunar: 3 Talibs said to be killed by masked gunmen in an undisclosed location Saturday morning.
