- Helicopter's camera captured suspect aiming AK-47 at the aircraft, causing its pilot to veer off
- After suspect's SUV sped off into Mexican territory, Mexican military converged on alleged cartel hideout, leading to a gun battle
- Five suspected cartel members were killed, four others were arrested and four rifles were confiscated
- Cartel members have shot at the US Border Patrol from across the river from the same site over the past few months, most recently in February.
