Two Egyptian peacekeepers killed in Mali, four wounded

It’s not like the Egyptian army is needed at nome to protect the Motherland for an Israeli invasion, so they might as well send off a few units to earn some money for the government. [AlAhram] Two members of the Egyptian peacekeeping forces in Mali were killed and four others were maimed on Monday in an IED explosion while carrying out a mission, the Egyptian Armed Forces announced on Tuesday.
According to the Egyptian army, all necessary measures are being taken in coordination with the United Nations

"The Egyptian Armed Forces affirm that their role in maintaining international peace and security comes from its full belief in the importance of peace, coexistence and the elimination of terrorism," the Armed Forces statement said.
