German court fines ISIS turban Taha Al-J. €50k on top of life sentence for death of Yezidi slave child

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group was convicted by a German court on Tuesday of genocide and committing a war crime over the death of a 5-year-old Yazidi girl he had purchased as a slave and then chained up in the hot sun to die.
The Frankfurt regional court sentenced Taha al-J.,
...more fully Taha al-Jumailly, and beyond that Taha Sabah Noori al-Jumailly. The ISIS fighter and member of the morals police was arrested in Greece in May 2019, then extradited to Germany... an Iraqi citizen whose full last name wasn’t released because of privacy rules, to life imprisonment and ordered him to pay the girl’s mother 50,000 euros ($57,000).
German news agency dpa quoted the presiding judge, Christoph Koller, saying it was the first conviction worldwide over a person’s role in the systematic persecution by IS of the Yazidi religious minority.
According to German prosecutors, al-J. bought a Yazidi woman and her 5-year-old daughter as slaves at an IS base in Syria in 2015. The two had been taken as prisoners by the gunnies in northern Iraq at the beginning of August 2014 and had been "sold and resold several times as slaves" by the group already.
The defendant took the woman and her daughter to his household in the Iraqi city of Fallujah and forced them to "keep house and to live according to strict Islamic rules," while giving them insufficient food and beating them regularly to punish them, according to the indictment.
The girl’s mother, who survived captivity, testified at both trials.
A MURDER TRIAL WITH NO BODY
The accident theory is supported by the fact that Taha A.-J. took the Yazidi girl directly to a local hospital. The defense has even cast doubt on whether the child had in fact died.
In May, citing an employee of the Fallujah hospital and a distant uncle of the defendant, the defense told the court that Rania had been cared for in the hospital for a week.
Then a man from IS is said to have taken her away. Today she lives in Idlib, in northern Syria, the defense says while admitting evidence of this is difficult to obtain.

...now 49, she was captured by ISIS in Iraq in 2014 with her three children, then sold for the first time with her daughter, whom their captors renamed Rania, in the ISIS slave market in Mosul while her sons were taken elsewhere... who survived captivity, testified at the Frankfurt trial.
Yazidi activist Natia Navrouzov, who works as the legal advocacy director at multinational NGO Yazda, told DW the ruling was "truly historic" for recognizing the Yazidi genocide.
"So we really hope that this case will have a domino effect and that other countries will follow the example of Germany," she said.
"And we also wanted to tell countries that if they don't have the evidence, they can come to organizations such such as Yazda."
The organization was able to identify the surviving victim and put her in touch with the authorities in Germany, Navrouzov said.
According to United Nations estimates, 7000 Yazidi women and children were enslaved and sold by IS and many remain missing.
For Nora T., all that remains of her family is one son. She lives with him in a secret location in Germany, under a witness protection program, and is supported by human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and represented by German lawyer Natalie von Wistinghausen.
