Two PMF members injured during anti-ISIS operation in Diyala

Two members of The PMF Explosive Ordnance Disposal squads (EOD) of al-Hashd al-Shaabi were maimed on Wednesday while pursuing ISIS gunnies in Hamrin Mountains in Diyala Governorate.
The PMF said in a statement today that the EOD detachments of the 1st Brigade cleared 5 km as part of an inspection campaign it launched in Hamrin mountain range.
Two members of the EOD were maimed in the operation.
Today morning, the Diyala Operations Command of the PMF launched a five-axis search operation to pursue ISIS gunnies in Hamrin mountain, indicating that the operation came based on accurate intelligence information.
The terror group attacked Diyala’s Miqdadiyah last week, killing 15 people and injuring 17 others. The bloody incident was followed by another offensive on Kurdish forces in Kirkuk where faceless myrmidons killed two Peshmerga. ISIS grabbed credit for both attacks.
A woman suspected of providing the Death Eater group with details about security services and forces in Salahaddin was arrested on Wednesday, the Security Media Cell said.
