Allison Hayes was an American film and television actress and model. Allison Hayes was born to William E. Hayes and Charlotte Gibson Hayes in Charleston, West Virginia. She was in the class of 1948 at Calvin Coolidge High School. Hayes won the title of Miss District of Columbia. She represented D.C. in the 1949 Miss America pageant. Shortly afterwards, Mary Jane adopted the familiar first name of Allison.
