Day 2: Kunduz Mosque Attack Victims Buried in Groups

That’d be the Gozar-e-Sayed Abad Mosque. Officials said that 46 people were killed and over 143 others maimed while some members of the Shia Ulema said nearly 120 worshippers were killed and 160 others injured.
The mass burial of most of the victims took place on Saturday in Kunduz city.
Farid, a resident of Kunduz, said he has lost four relatives in the attack. "Four people have been martyred from one family," he said.
"In yesterday’s attack over 100 people were killed. My cousin was also martyred," said Baryalai, a Kunduz resident.
The suicide attack targeted a mosque belonging to the Shia religious community. Some Shia religious scholars said nearly 120 people were killed in the attack.
"As per our information about the bodies brought to cemeteries, around 120 people were martyred and around 160 others were maimed," said Imam Razavi, a religious scholar.

-ISIS- has claimed the responsibility for the heinous explosion in a mosque in northern Kunduz province that occurred on Friday afternoon, October 8.
ISIS in a statement that was published in Arabic said that the jacket wallah was named Muhammad

The blasts happened in the Shite Moslem mosque.
The ISIS statement claimed to have killed and maimed three hundred Hazara
 ...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets...

The explosion that targeted worshipers who had gathered for Friday prayer in Khan Abad port of Kunduz province killed 50 and maimed over a hundred more civilians.
The Taliban

have condemned the incident and pledged to bring to find and punish the culprits.
ISIS-K is now the biggest threat to the people of Afghanistan and the Taliban that carries out terror attacks after the Taliban took over Afghanistan.
